Lock Touch while phoning - Touch Diamond, MDA Compact IV General

hey folks,
if I cycle anywhere I like to listen to good music from my touch, I think you know what I mean , but I also want to phone sometimes.
In this time you just have to push a button twice to let the diamond dial the last connected number.
Thats great, but there is one big problem. If I carry my diamond in my pocket an dial a number while listen to music the screen activate. So if I quit the talk the music continue playing an the screen stays activated.
That's a big problem if I cycle and carry my touch in my pocket.
Do you have any solution how I could force the diamond to stay locked while phoning if the headset is activated or otherwhise deactivate the screen after calling?
thanks a lot for the help!
ps: excause me for this long describtion of the problem, but I wanted you to understand everything!
greeting from germany!

Not sure if this would work, but look into PocketShield or TouchLockPro, both you can find on this forum I believe.

Ringtone disappears when scroll wheel is moved?????

Hi All
I recently lost my ringtone and found a solution on here, so all is fine.....EXCEPT when the phone rings, the ringtone disappears when the scroll wheel (if that's what it's called) is moved.
Has anyone else come across this problem and if so found a fix???
The phone carries on ringing silently if I move the wheel, it's just the sound that disappears and that's obviously not very good if it's in my pocket!!
I've tried pressing all the other buttons when it's ringing to see if they make the sound disappear but they don't, it's only the wheel
Any one got any ideas????
Thanks
That's not a bug.
That's a feature...
My TyTN1 did that.
My P3600 did that.
My TyTN2 Does that.
It's the only way of making the phone go QUIET without canceling the call.
Quite usefull actually....
Honestly!!??
It's a feature??
How do I turn it off????
I like that feature very much, too. When someone calls and I don't want to talk to them I just hit the scroll wheel to silence the call but let it continue ringing for them. That way they don't know I'm ignoring them. I can plausibly be out of range of my phone or some other excuse. If you press the end key or hit "ignore" on the phone screen it sends the call immediately to voicemail and the person on the other line can tell they've been actively ignored...
I don't know if it's possible to turn it off.
ive always found it usefull. but sometimes it can be annoying as OP said when its in your pocket

The beginning of every sad story I've heard about screen cracks and phone damage, has always begun with , Well the phone was in my pocket and..............
When I pull my phone from it's padded holster I always look at the caller id first and do not wish to disturb other people while I decide. I appreciate the feature
I'm guessing it's a feature that can't be turned off then

In-line buttons of the headphones make calls :(

Is there a way to fix the in-line buttons of the headphones you get with the Diamond2 to not start calling people?
They are very sensitive, and I had some unwanted calls to people while listening to some music...
I can't find anywhere to configure this (WinMo settings "buttons" and "input" screens have nothing). IS there a way to disable those buttons or, better yet, make them useful for things like volume control?
same problem here, everytime i go by bike i call someone hitting the button somehow.
I mange to call people accidentily while walking down the street,
It needs to be able to lock itself while playing music or you need to press a particular button to lock-unlock.
I have a Noreve flip case coming soon maybe this will help to stop this problem.

if its not the headphones causing your problem you can simply turn your defice off while playing musik. it will keep on playing.
but the buttons in the cord don't "lock" if you switch it off
which basically is my problem

TouchLockPro locks all buttons, including the in-line buttons of the head-phones.
This solution worked fine for me and my Touch Diamond 2.

Only allow the answer button and not the touch screen to answer a call.

Hi all,
I have a problem with my diamond either answering or rejecting a call without my intentional input because the screen gets touched when I remove it from either the supplied htc sleeve case or just my pocket.
Is there a way to disable the touch screen even when a call is incoming unless I unlock it in the standard way or press the actual answer button.
I don't think I can live with this phone constantly answering calls I want to ignore and rejecting calls I want to take as I get it out of my pocket to see who is calling.
I'd prefer a reg key method if possible but need something desperately.
Thanks
To combat this problem I installed this:

HTC diamond button in headphones

It is possible to change the properties of button in original headphones from htc?
When I press 2 times very quickly my htc rings and it's very annoying because it's rings when I e.g. listening music.

I think its possible. I'll look into it.
Same look alike problem
I think i broken my headphones. Whenever i plug them in , the slightest move turns into my phone calling the last person i called or called me or going into Voice Dial . So i have to call a fake number every time i plug them so it won't call from my pocket, very very annonying.
What can be made to disable this type of calling .. i don't know if the button is the problem .
So nobody can solve this problem ? I write some questions on other forums but nobody give any solution.
