Someone knows how the handset button works for hands-free conversations?
Thank you
The button places the call on hold.
I think that with one press at the button you answer with two presses you recall the last number and so on?
I try to find how it work in the manual but I can’t find it

Hi:
I've been searching for info how to achieve the following, which I can't get done so far:
I have stereo bluetooth headphones with a mic. These are great for receiving calls, when you don't have the phone easily accessible, like in the car etc.
They have only two buttons, one is a two-way joystick for loudness. The other one is a receive/hangup button using which you can accept incoming calls.
What I'd like to do is to enable it to activate voice dial when I press it, to make a phone call.
So far I've only discovered that if I hold it depressed a long time, then the headset redials the last-dialed number.
In some instances after a call, when I've pressed the button, voice dial has come up and asked for the called id, however I cannot replicate this behavior, and it doesn't do it when the home screen is visible. Only I think after I've dialed from the headset, then hang up. Then at that screen press the button, but it's not stable.
So it seems though, to use the button to activate voice-dial is possible. I'd just like to set it up so that it works.
Anyone know how to?
Try holding one of the buttons
Depending on the BT adapter, you might have to hold down the receive/hangup button till you hear a confirming beep.
its usually a short press for voicedial a little longer press for redial last number. so try just doing short press insead of holding it down
Hi,
Ive got an annoying little problem with the button on the handsfree kit of diamond. Basically, I just use the handsfree for music but often, by accident, the answer button on the kit is pressed and this leads to the phone dialling the last-called person, now this is pretty damn annoying, especially 8oclock in the morning..
Basically, I want to know if it's possible to disable this button altogether or to stop it from dialling last dialled number when pressed? If not I might end up breaking it lol
The button on the Htc headset calls people if pressed. How do I take that function out?
Same here.
There are other threads about this problem.
Still looking for a solution like, let's say a registry hack that disables the headset button...
HELP
Any chance of implementing Headphone Button?
One of the best things on X1 is that i can simply press the button when I'm listening to the music and someone is calling me, instead of taking whole phone out to answer that call.
Does anyone know if it's possible to assign a function to the trackball (or other button) to perform a specific action in an application.
The particular scenario I'm trying to cover here is mute and un-mute of the microphone during a voice call. I have not been able to find a way to mute and un-mute a call without turning on the screen, unlocking the phone and then pressing the mute button in the phone app. What I'd love to be able to do is just press the trackball or press and hold the up or down volume buttons to mute or un-mute the phone.
I travel quite a bit for business and walking through an airport with a headset on and the phone on mute it's VERY inconvenient to have to stop, put a bag down follow the three steps listed above just to chime in on a conference call.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
