Launcher Tabs

Can the 6 tabs be customized to 3 tabs assuming i don't want the Profile, Weather & one more i cannot remember the name. I know that if i installed the Kaiser theme on my Hermes, i can get into the registry to customize the number of tabs. Can this be done on the Kaiser? How?
Just need to know before buying the Kaiser

Is there anyway i can customize it via the registry? I'll rather not install 3rd party softwares cos i fear it might slow the Kaiser down on it's responds

yes you can eliminate tabs thru the registry

the tabs can be removed/reordered in the today screen settings
(settings -> today -> htchome)
this is only on the 6 tab version.

TouchFLO for Tilt

Hi,
Is it possible to install a TouchFLO CAB onto the AT&T Tilt? I have searched throughout this site and have seen it mentioned, but I have not found the actual TouchFLO CAB that I can install.

Ya, it's already built in on our Tilts... but here's a twist...
What if I don't want to hear that stupid ticking sound? I remember seeing on the Kaiser ROM the option to turn it off, but the Tilt has no such menu option.
Moreso, how can one disable TouchFLO altogether? I don't recall seeing it as a Service or in the Startup menu0
I'm using helmi_c's cleaned up AT&T Tilt ROM.

You can edit the stupid ticking sound in the registry. 0=off
You can turn it OFF in the registry.

thanks everyone. I didn't realize I had touchflo because of two reasons.
1) there is no touchflo icon under settings.
2) touchflo isn't working for me when I use my finger to scroll. I think, I am not sure, that it is because I am using the protective screen that came in the AT&T box. That would suck.
Anyone experiencing the same thing?

You can change the sensitivity of TouchFLO via a registry change also containted in KaiserTweak....also, see this post for the "use cases" of how TouchFLO works...

The Tilt doesn't have the TouchFLO options config settings page. But it does ave TouchFLO. Bear in mind, TouchFLO is the finger dragging capability. The TouchFLO does NOT have the "cube" from the Touch phones. It just has the same ability to use your finger to move around the screen and "drag" pages.
Since there's no program on the Tilt to set the TouchFLO settings, you need to either do registry edits or use an app like KaiserTweak to modify the deault sensitivity and sound settings for it. Search around you'll find mor einfo. but that's the basics.

Is there any tweaks to see more than 25 messages in the menu without going into see all messages?

I'm not aware of any tweaks for this, no. I think you're out of luck -- TouchFlo 3D has this limitation by design, I would think.
TouchFlo 2D doesn't have this limit, I think.

Tab program editor?

Question from a noob: How do I edit which programs launch from the tabs on TF3d? For example, if on the Music tab I wanted Windows Media player to launch, could I do this with a program? What about adding more tabs? I know with Diamond TF3D editor I can change the order of the tabs, but is that all I can do?

For your first question, I don't think that it's possible to change that because it uses an internal command within Manila to search for music.
As far as adding tabs, search for that. The cabs are all over the internet. Be careful though as adding tabs can lead to instability.

Disable Touchflo Contact Card & Call History?

I tried searching on here and other sites to disable the touchflo contact cards & Call History but have not come up with anything. I want to revert to the WM6.5 contacts and contacts cards and call history. I'm looking for performance over looks. To me the touchflo version is basically a skinned WM version IMO.
P.S. I don't feel like reading people complain asking me why I want to do this. Just answers please...

registry key changes would be your best bet in that situation, not sure how but ill try to get back to u and update what i can find, all though no one had this type of request before, this is really rare...

i think either 'diamon tweak' and/or diamond tf3d config' should do the trick. although, speaking form experiance, i had a problem with the contact tab missing from my tf3d interface and was only able to restore it w/a registry tweak....so if the programs don't do the trick you may need to search for the specific registry keys and edit them w/a regediting program.
