Hi,
Is it possible to install a TouchFLO CAB onto the AT&T Tilt? I have searched throughout this site and have seen it mentioned, but I have not found the actual TouchFLO CAB that I can install.
Thanks for your time.
already built in
Ya, it's already built in on our Tilts... but here's a twist...
What if I don't want to hear that stupid ticking sound? I remember seeing on the Kaiser ROM the option to turn it off, but the Tilt has no such menu option.
Moreso, how can one disable TouchFLO altogether? I don't recall seeing it as a Service or in the Startup menu0
I'm using helmi_c's cleaned up AT&T Tilt ROM.
You can edit the stupid ticking sound in the registry. 0=off
You can turn it OFF in the registry.

Or Downlaod and use KaiserTweaks, which has that, and many more tweaks you might enjoy. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=333898
thanks everyone. I didn't realize I had touchflo because of two reasons.
1) there is no touchflo icon under settings.
2) touchflo isn't working for me when I use my finger to scroll. I think, I am not sure, that it is because I am using the protective screen that came in the AT&T box. That would suck.
Anyone experiencing the same thing?
You can change the sensitivity of TouchFLO via a registry change also containted in KaiserTweak....also, see this post for the "use cases" of how TouchFLO works...

i'll take this one step further. I don't see anything period on my tilt for touchflo. where do I find it?

The Tilt doesn't have the TouchFLO options config settings page. But it does ave TouchFLO. Bear in mind, TouchFLO is the finger dragging capability. The TouchFLO does NOT have the "cube" from the Touch phones. It just has the same ability to use your finger to move around the screen and "drag" pages.
Since there's no program on the Tilt to set the TouchFLO settings, you need to either do registry edits or use an app like KaiserTweak to modify the deault sensitivity and sound settings for it. Search around you'll find mor einfo. but that's the basics.

I am probably going to get drilled on posting this but I cannot find the answer anywhere on this site. I am using touchflo v1.22 duttys htc touch rom ver 1.1. When I slide the keyboard out and browse the internet and try to use my finger to flick back to another webpage I received biotouch not enabled. I then tried it again this time with keyboard slide in and received the same message. Am I missing something here, I checked the biotouch registry settings but do not see a way to enable disable it. When I flashed my device I used duttys rom file. Should I be able to flip back and fourth through webpages? Appreciate the help.
Explain what you mean. Flip back? You mean scroll up & down? Or actually go forward & back through your history?
O.K. I purchased the AT&T Tilt because I liked the wm6 device with the Touch flo aspect and home screen with the digital clock... so where is it? Did at&t remove it when they locked it?
hang yourself.
LOL........
LMAO!!!! To the OP, you need to research some more. Look up Kaiser Tweak if you want to turn Touch Flo back on. I think there may be a cab somewhere that puts the icon back in as well, but Kaiser Tweark or Schaps Advanced Config will work for you.
Essentially yes AT&T did remove it.
What you're talking about comes with the Official HTC Rom. But don't give up hope check out the wiki about cubes and ROM flashing.
Remeber to do searches first before posting. The only reason I'm answering is because I was where you are once. I felt overwhelmed.

As a few of our Senior Members already "hinted", you need to do a little more research.
TouchFlo is actually in the at&t Rom but the interface to disable sound is removed. Kaiser Tweak will allow you to manipulate the settings (including sensitivity).
FWIW, WM6 Pro does not have a Home Screen that is what the Standard version (no touchscreen) has. Pro uses a "Today" screen, I know what's the diff right but technically you are talking about something else.
If you liked the look of the large digital clock like is displayed on the wiki page reference images then that is not a WM6 thing but rather a HTC thing called HTC Home plug-in.
Please do yourself a faver and spend some time reading the wiki & the stickies.
Hi,
Right been doing some digging around the forum to try to get to grips with how to use Touchflo on my Kaiser (Vodaphone v1615 WM6.1 build), but haven't really found an answer. I can see an icon in settings for Touchflo that just says enable sound when scrolling, but i don't get any other options to enable it.
How do i enable default HTC (cube) touchflo on my Kaiser? or is it not part of the Tytn2 standard build? I have tried Ftouchflo which works, but am after looking at default HTC stuff before looking at other implementations etc as the ftouchflo stuff didnt quite work as i wanted.
Thanks in advance

Right been having a bit of a play...and think i need some further help lol. At the moment I haven't installed the HTC Cube (found links for it elsewhere on the forum) and am just playing with the finger scrolling. Out of the box i can't scroll in contacts or calendar etc but have installed Opera 9.5 and that works a treat...not sure if thats part of Touchflo support or anything .
I then installed FtouchSL (Trial version) and get scrolling working (though it says it will disable Touchflo scrolling) in contacts, but not calendar (i.e left right to go through days etc). Then Opera 9.5 does not work with finger scrolling at all.
I have now removed FTouchSl and wondering how i get scrolling to work with inbuilt Touchflo? I would like to be able to finger scroll through contacts and calendar for example.
Cheers

Leave off the FTouchSL for now. Find and install schaps advanced config and set make sure TouchFlo is enabled in there. My contants works with Finger Scrolling. My current calender is TouchCal and that is already FF (Finger Friendly) you can try it for nowt. Opera I think has it's own touch scrolling.
Also try pocket CM as a FF contacts app. Or install HTC Random Access, this adds FF letters into normal contacts.

Thanks Dave will give that a try
Hello, i have bought my htc diamond yesterday, and i don't have the new interface with touchflo 3d. I have the old classic menu on windows mobile! In the menu, at settings-today-items i can't find touchflo, but i have the application, in settings menu ( as application).. help me, how can i activate touch flo
I can't understand why TouchFlo isn't already selected, but if it is indeed installed on your device, you activate it by...
Start...
Settings...
Personal tab...
Today...
Items tab...
Tick "TouchFlo 3D" and remove all other ticks
This should do the trick. If TouchFlo isn't showing in the "Items" list, then your device doesn't have it installed...
Oh Dear!
My friend called me up the other day with exactly the same issue. He had seen videos on youtube demonstrating the touchflo3d running and he realy liked the look of the way you could flick through contacts and messages.
He rushed down to the local tmobile store and demanded his diamond (compact iv)
He rushed home, unpacked the phone and was greeted with windows 6.1 standard screens throughout.
THE TMOBILE STAFF SOLD HIM THE MDA TOUCH!! (HTC VOGUE) nOT THE DIAMOND! They heard key words and thought of commission
Worse still, he opened the box and could not return the phone!
Honestly i doubt that this has happend to you, just thought it was a relevant funny story. Pretty sure one of the helpfull guys on here will provide you the assistance you need swiftly!
^^^Ouch... I would've flipped out.
don't know if there's a cab for that, you should search this forum and find out.
if not, learn how to flash another rom and problem solved
I have the HTC DIAMOND, not the htc vogue, LOL
I can't find the TouchFlo 3D in the items list. Should i flash my diamond? How can i do this? Thank you very much
Manila TouchFlo 3.8

At this forum there was a cab file including touchflo 3.x or 3.8. Try to search for it.
I want to be able to scroll through touchflo 3d with the capacitive wheel but can't seem to find any programs that will let me do that. I tried Diamond tweaks and Diamond Scroll but none of those programs habve teh option i want. I would try GScroll but ive been hearing about alot of crashing problems.
I don't think there is. I know people have tried and failed. It seems that TF3D is hardcoded that way, but who knows. Someone might make a breakthrough! I know Da_G is the master of hex editing
man... i used to have a program that allowed this function. It worked PERFECTLY, but i had to hard-reset my phone, and forgot to back that up. I'll try to get in touch w/ the person who gave it to me, and see if I can help you out!

FWIW I use GScroll, and haven't had any problems with crashing (either it, or other programs).
Cheers,
Steve.
diamond tweak give u the option to enable it at some applications (calander, call history, contacts, file explorer, internet explorer, programs, phone & ofcourse diamond tweak itself).
