I am running the latest Official Cingular 2.25 ROM, when I soft reset, USBswitch defaults back to serial. Any registry change to keep it RNDIS?
I am having this issue as well. I called HTC and the suggestion was for me to switch it back to RNDIS, do not soft reset for a week and see if it resets itself. That's not the answer I was looking for. I would really like a better suggestion from someone here.
Hard Reset and don't let the customizations install. Then manually install everything except the USB_Switch (something like that) Cab file. This will remove the serial option from your device.
Mine is backwards

Hi guys got a problem with my diamond, was playing teeter when it just hangs. Made a soft reset with red button, it shows "TOUCH diamond and firmware version, and than doing nothing for allready 10 hours. Any cure avalible?

Hi, i have a serious problem with my diamond...if someone knows how to fix it, i will be a lot of gratefull.
I have htc diamond movistar, with cooked rom 2.0.3 - BsB 1.1, during 4 mounths, 0 problems.
Yesterday, the diamond has reset 2 times...ok...but the third was the last. It died. Not turn on...never.
I can't revive them in any way. Do not start with any of my original 2 batteries .. It does not recognize the network stream, or the PC, ActiveSync does not recognize ... soft reset and hard reset doesnt rapair anything...
It starts 1 of 50 times, and when he makes, I only can put the bootloader mode, is the only thing i can do. And the bootloader recognice the usb mode. So i should can flash...no?
To send the diamond to technical service, i have to put the original rom and hardspl, but i can´t. All times that i try to flash, the process fail.
I had try to put the original spl (1.93), and the process arrives to 100%, but after the reset, bootloader says that i have 1.24 hardspl yet !!
And when i try to put any rom, cooked or original, always fails the process at diferent percentages...15%, 26%...65%... Always the same error, [302], connection fails.
So... is difficult that the diamond turn on, the rom doesn´t work and no pass of MOVISTAR logo...the bootloader works, but all the flashings that i try, fails.
¿¿How i can put the original spl and original rom to send to technical service??

I do not know if anyone has met this issue before.
i was fine until yesterday when i installed this app which shows the pic of the caller.
After the uninstalation it said that i needed a soft reset to finish the process.
I did one but then it did a hardreset.
I installed the rom again, and after certain customisations, that needed a soft reset, a hard one is beeing performed right now.
What can i do please?

Hello. I'm new in here. half hour ago I got registered. so i have a problem with my HTC. For about 1-2 weeks now the device was restarting. 2 days ago the device never opened again. yesterday I tried the hard reset sequence and the device open to the message that i will lose everything and if i agree to press send but when i press it i get a green screen and nothing more. what can i do? what might be the problem? I uploaded also a video (but I can't post it cause I am a new user so ask me to send it as a pm) and a photo of the green screen.

By all means, if you don't mind losing data that you had on the ROM memory, then hardreset.
Hard resetting I think is the best possible solution for you.
So press that green phone button when it tells you to ^>^
I already did a hard reset. that's why i have that green screen. I did a hard reset about 4-5 times now. thanks for your answer.

Try this:
Soft reset your phone while holding the camera button.
Does this get you to a screen where it's Red/Blue/Green/White Screen?
If it does, try plugging in a USB cord. If you get this far and see the word 'USB' in the lower left hand corner, then I think we can continue on.

but it didnt work still and you tried the hard spl too.... can you tell me the history of your phone before it went like that, i am a technician and might help you on your problem.... what was the last thing you did on your phone? i will wait for your reply if it's ok....

I have the HTC P-4350 for the last 5 years. the last 1-2 weeks the phone started to freeze and the screen went white slowly and then restart. after the 2 weeks the phone closed and didn't open again but the hard reset is working until the part that said format done (or something like that) and then i get a green screen (see the photo I have attached here). after that i made this post and the friend Tribulattifather (member of the site here) helped me with some info and gave me some files to try and install but the first file gave me this message

what is your spl number and ipl....
did you do the HARDSPL on your phone????
do the hardspl first and then flash your phone using a micro sd....

to my perspective, the phone's problem can be resolve in flashing....
tell me if you hardspl it,,,, because you cant flash it on some ROMS if it's not HARDSPLed...
hi [email protected] i had a problem with my internet that's way I answer now after all that time. I droped it a couple of times by accident but that is a long time ago. the IPL is 4.17.0001 ans SPL 4.17.0000. i never did anything like hardspl. i changed the flex cable 5 months ago. when i first got the phone 5 years ago it had WM5 and after 5 months when i bought it I got WM6 at service. i never got the phone to service cause never anything happen. i can't remember anything else know.
I have an update for my device. now it doesn't open with anything. i mean i can open it to hard reset or to see the spl. it doesn't respont to anything.
May be time to put the phone to rest, mate u.u
