[July,10, 2008] Diamond Look-a-like Skin for Resco Keyboard Pro 5.01

Hello..my first work is just finished..a simple Diamond Skin based on Iskin of Resco Keyboard Pro 5.01.i did it for myself..and i like it..so i'm happy to share it with you..
it support portrait mode and landscape mode..and i did it for my Atom Exec so i think it support only QVGA..

How-to Install:
download the .rar file
extract the folder "Diamond"
copy it where you installed resco keyboard (on my ppc is Program Files\Resco Keyboard Pro\
put it in the skin folder

why he not use real keyboard then ?

Nice skin, but I got really fed up with Resco KB on my Touch Diamond - in SMS mode it was very slow and unresponsive to my typing and missed alot of my keystrokes. Congrats on the impressive skin though.

I've tryed your (beautiful) skin, but the symbols page doesn't work correctly: if I press a button it will type the correct symbol in the message but the problem is that the symbols are just ivisible! Are the same colour of the skin. Please, fix it!

can you make a screen? cause on my device it works correctly..have you copied all files into the device? the ini too? cause some colors of the skin are selected from that file..let me know

Excellent work DaD92, I have been waiting for a light VGA Skin for awhile (wish I could do it myself but the talent is not their).
Couple of quick points, in the telephone list the light blue color on white is Almost unreadable as well as the Yellow on white for the Main phone list for Contacts in your favorites.
Also can you or anyone else point out which lines these are in the skin at least then I could edit them myself:
so what I need is the Phone # 2nd line color and font size
and the color for the Main List if the contact is in your favorites:

This theme has a multimedia dock , you need two other good programms :
mortscript and S2P and a script made by Nicko (from MC) thanks to him
there are many docks and 2 bottom bars
The first shows you notifications (mails,sms,calls,Meetings) with quick buttons to go direct to them
Second one has 2 buttons that you can customize for your needs !
Top bar shows Network , battery , date and 3 buttons for WiFi , bluetooth and vibrate button for direct activation
if you use Top gesture (bottom to top) you display a wall like a Partial Lock (or a secret Mode ) ,
Bottom gesture (from top to bottom you return to Normal display)​

ahhhh, very nice use of my overlay theme, i see the elements all over it. Good Job
only thing i dont like are the buuf icons. The animation events look really nice tho, nice timing and whatnot

@all : Wad is really fantastic and easy , the only problem is memory (on my P3600 so many crashes : not enough memory)

I have tried this and even though I am using a WVGA devicethe buttons are really small and unusable to use with your fingers.
Graphically it is very nice though.

It simply replaces the default theme named "clear" in your settings. All you have to do is download the attached ZIP, unzip it, and overwrite the images in the following path of your device:

Make sure you are not running SMS Chat while you overwrite the images!

Those are misalignments with the background and chat box, I don't think they are fixable because I tried reversing the image and it just caused the same thing on the other side. Relatively small problem though so I just let it go.

Sure. Just give me a day or so.
EDIT: Scratch that, just took like 5 minutes because I saved my layers. Try the attached, haven't tested it myself but it should work.

trying it now..btw..i noticed that the highlight"green" of this skin is darker than the one for older version..

Yeah, I used some other apps as reference for that (easy contact, TF3D theme for M2D) they all seem to have the same highlight style so I used that.

Hi Paul,
I do not own Funcontact, only the SMS-Chat. However, I recommend Easy Contact for HTC style contact manager that is finger friendly. Best free contacts app I've seen so far, I even prefer it over iContact personally. It's also easily skinnable.

I was thinking the same thing actually, shouldn't be too hard.
I wish it were easier to edit the black skin because the icons are at the bottom and it would look more like Manila, but when I tried editing it before I ran into some problems.
Blue Manila version possibly coming soon.

if im not wrong..the font size value are in the .skin file..you can try figure it out..but the .skin file must same with before it was edited

Search VITO Technology on google, find SMS Chat. You can use it for 2 weeks but then you have to buy it. Or a hard reset I think might work lol.
Side note: Anyone willing to help me test out a blue version? I can make the graphics but have no way to test because I've flashed to a new 6.5 ROM. I don't want to install much on it because it needs to be kept very clean to run fluidly on the Titan.

I made this theme out of frustration - all S2U2 skins I could find had fancy clocks and sliders but I was looking for something clean and simple that would give all the attention to the wallpaper.

edit: The sliden.png is off center when used with the slider in the middle. OK by me, I use the slider only. Also, there are no matching 'A' 'P' 'M' files for the clock. Clock will be out of alignment if set to display AM, PM. Great simple skin. I like it alot.

Shouldn't be much work. I don't have a QVGA device anymore so you'd have to be a tester and report back I'll get to it when I'll have some free time
