ActiveSync DB Errors after restore

Did a clone restore on my BA. all ok. Then a few days later had to do it again - from the same clone image. This time I get:
On SR: ccSync Create ChgCap DB(RSGChgCaptr) err=52
followed by ccSync ERROR: failed to create database iMobile chgCaptr(52)
and on activeSyncing: DBTracker Open ChCap DB(RSGChgCaptr) err=2
Please can someone advise of a fix procedure.

Correction to my original problem:
The errors are being generated by cclient - part of Intellisync which is the house enterprise tool to sync to the mobile Exchange server.
It seems that the app cannot create its DB and so cannot read/write to it. The trouble is I don't know where or what this DB should look like or ehat actually generates it.
Anyone got any experience of Intellisync Mobile suite 6.1?

Activesync does not work with WM5 in my PDA2K

Gents, I need some help please,
After installing WM5 on the PDA2K, the Activesync stopped syncing.
- Tried most of WM5 different versions
- Tried with both Activesync 4.1 & 4.2
- Replaced MAPI32.DLL with an older version.
- Uninstalled Outlook, rebooted laptop, then reinstalled Outlook
Every time I get this message:
Could not sync with the PPC, please disconnect the PPC from the USB then connect it again and try, if it does not work then refer the Activesync help.

Hello,I had a similar prob..I also use PDA2K,If you use anit-spyware tools and anti-virus software they stop the active sync for establishing contact with the device.The simplest way I think, is to uninstall the virus software entirely and install the active sync.After you can reinstall the anti-virus.But you should make sure you have the version 4.2 of the active sync.
I am myslef a newbie but it worked for me.
Otherwise you should go inside your fireware and allow active sync which can be complicated if you are a newbie like me....I hope this piece of info helps

The file XXXXX cannot be opened.....

Hi guys
I am using a tilt with Schaps rom on it.
I can`t play any media files (tried mp3 and video)
I get the following error:
the file xxxxx cannot be opened. Either it is not signed with a trusted certificate, or one of its components cannot be found. If the problem persists, try reinstalling or restoring this file.
I have checked the registry, and tried setting the security key both on and off. no help.
Any other ideas are welcome.....

I have the same problem (error message) when pressing the "messages" button on my MDA Vario 3 / Kaiser.

installing active sync 4.5

Hi Im trying to install active sync 4.5 on my windows xp computer but keep getting the error message "There is a problem with this Windows Installer package. A DLL required for this install to complete could not be run. Contact your support personnel or package vendor" can anyone help or tell me what i need to do to resolve this please ive searched the internet but cant find a resolution. thanks

no Java apps installing/running

I have a freshly reset Tilt (factory ROM) and I"m using Direct Push to connect to an Exchange server.
I am unable to get a single java app to load. I keep getting the same message.
"... cannot be installed because critical information between the website and the application file does not match. - 31"
I have tried Opera Mini (latest release), Gmail (latest release), and MGMaps.
This is the same error I get whether or not I load from online or offline files.
I've used both Esmertec Jbed 20080428.2.1 and Cloudyfa_EsmertecJbed.
I'm sure I'm missing something simple. I read the midlet post in the General forum, but didn't see anything to helo with this issue.
I wonder if it's Direct Push/Exchange security policies? That seems to be the cause of every other issue I've had.
Any ideas?
