Hello all, please dont flame me if this has already been answered, but I have serarched both this forum and the tinternet to no avail. I was a 2G Iphone owner, but am now a proud owner of a Touch Diamond. One thing I miss about my Iphone however is that I was able to download a program call MXtube (it was Jailbroken), it had a similar GUI to the Youtube app, but it allowed you to download the videos to your Iphone, then view them using the app. I was just wondering if there was a simlilar app for the Touch Diamond.
Cheers Guys
If you use the mobile firefox, you can download any of the youtube downloading xpi's.
I've also been looking for a similar program, after a quick lookup i found this free program that should do the job.

It would have been a nice feature if it was possible to save videos directly from the Diamond YT application, but i guess there would be some copyright issues with that

A guy like me prefers a diffrent sort of app campaign than most ppl
On my tytn.. before it went for a swim i had app along these lines:
Emulators
Media player close to Winamp.. Gps player or sumthin like that, it was capable of streaming internet radio was well as playing mp3's
Instant messenger program.. i was using octrotalk because it was free and offer many of the same features of Im+ and Agile messenger. although i woudl have liked the send picture feature that Agile has!
Google Maps... with the Kaisers GPS i cant imagine how sweet It'll be
Alternate camera App.. i forgot what mine was called but it booted up much faster and offered a couple more options that the stock camera app
Java and Flash for Internet Browsing
Finally tons of custom Today screens and Dial pads.. i wasnt to into the lakeridge software apps because they required me to pay, and they ran off of my windows mobile OS as a completly diffrent OS (almost)... but the dial pads i found at zombienexus were pretty sweet
If anyone has gone ahead and found their favorite apps along these lines for their Kaiser i would apreciate it if they could post this findings for me and the rest of the forum users!

Since getting the Kaiser I have really wanted to be able to stream videos from Youku or Tudou since it has pretty much everything. The TCPMP video loader doesn't seem to be working anymore and the only way I have been able to achieve this is by searching the site for the video I want, copying the link into www.clipnabber.com and then copying the download links into TCPMP. Does anyone know of an easier way, or perhaps is anyone willing to write a program similar to youtubeplay to allow us to do this. Any advice would be much appreciated.
Cheers
Just wait for the new Opera mobile to come out which supports flash?
Then you can go directly to youku or tudou websites and play whatever you want.
have you tried skyfire?
its not like tcpmp (instead it plays within the browser) but it has a nice zoom feature that basically makes it full screen.
Actually my version of Opera plays video from youku in the browser. It only started about a week ago, problem is it's slower than a three legged dog. And as for Skyfire, not in the US so thats not an option. I just thought somebody might be willing to write a program considering how many TV shows and stuff are available on youku. By the way is TCPMP with videoloader working for anyone?
I saw my friends iPhone and it had a new program with video feeds featuring certain top stories.
I'd like to find a program like that for my kaiser. i've been using yahoo news mobile, but i really want video. and when i look for video rss feeds providers like ABC never really release decent content, in regard to length and substence.
if anyone knows of any decent free software that can solve my problem please post thanks.
Beyond Pod is capable of this, it's a very decent videocast/podcast/RSS application. It is completely free.
Hey guys, If I'm in the wrong area, I apologize.
I was wondering if there was a better youtube app for the HTC Fuze. The native youtube app, and the google youtube app are nice, but they do not play the full range of videos available on youtube, (ex. try looking up the music videos for "What you got" by Colby O'donis, or "Dangerous" by Kardinal Offishall, forgive my taste in music). You will not be able to find the music videos for these songs like you would on a desktop computer.
I've tried Coreplayer, and WVD player, but they either take a really long time searching or there is great difficulty finding videos.
I know this sounds funny but I'm quite surprised that there is difficulty for flash videos on winmo. I have a psp, and the youtube app is amazing (you also have the ability to go to other video hosting websites). Is there a youtube app that is equivalent to a desktop computer or the psp?
Thank you for your time.
ive been a bit dissapionted also in the phone because i tell everyone how much better the touch pro is than the iphone and then it cant do high quality youtube videos. please someone prove me wrong
if you go to the settings icon at the top and hit high quality instead of fast speed they look pretty damn good....
Yeah but if you're running a stock ROM the video skips because it can't process or keep the video and audio in sync..don't know what causes the problem. Not sure if that happens on cooked ROMs though
Have you tried coreplayer 1.3.2 youtube section after pressing views. It has settings out the a**! Hi,Lo,3g,FLV,H264 720p. Beautiful!! Try that if you havent!
But coreplayer is a commercial app, it is not free
btw I tried this software but was unable to make it work for youtube, it never finds anything...

Hi guys,
I`ve got my TD2 a few weeks ago and I`m very happy with it....but thinking of giving a try for spb mobile shell...
The thing is that when I use the included youtube app I can´t get acces to the same videos that I got from the real youtube site, for example I serch "sweet child o´mine" on the site I get acces to the REAL music video, but on the HTC app I only get crappy versions of it, so does this happen to everyone, is a bug, is there a solution for that???
Thank for the help
Congratulation for the xda-developers team this site is awesome..keep up the good work guys
SPB Mobile shell is VERY cool. I use it most of the time.
The youtube thing is because you are viewing youtube mobile instead kind of.
I get decent results, but they are different from the actual site.
Speaking of YouTube Mobile, could someone please explain to me how I can login to my account? When I access YouTube from my PC, the site offers a login/password field, where I can enter my data; however, I can't seem to find a way to do this in YouTube Mobile, though...
