Problem after rom upgrade - Touch Diamond, MDA Compact IV General

iv have just upgraded to the 1.93 rom and now i have countless probelms. My comp wont sync with my phone any more, my e-mails wont work on my phone and i have no message centre number any more. These are just some of the problems i have found so far and no doubt there will be more.
Do you have any ideas how to fix this or have you had any similar probs?

2i reverting to "Sound off" for no reason!

Has anyone else come accross this? Mine started it a couple of days ago, all sound mutes, even when you move volume slider back up it resets itself to sound off. I did a hard reset after the first occasion, then it did it again. I have not installed any new software so don't think that is the issue. IF you have come accross this and found a work around that does not involve a hard reset I would be grateful for the advice.
soft-reset cures it on mine
Soft resetting does not do anything on mine, only a hard reset cures it, and then only for a couple of days, have aslo lost BT now!!! Can see my headset, pairs with it but wont connect. I have re-flashed the ROM, but problems still exist. O2 are now sending a replacement as the other one is only 2 months old (took some haggling though, O2 customer services is truely diabolical)
o2 online or retail? either way take it to an o2 shop, they HAVE to sort it for you
It was O2 online, they have now told me there is a problem with the new rom and some bt devices!!!!! Still not sure what the problems are, but am sure they are linked to TT3 as well. so will upgrade and se if that helps!
this happened to me... even a hard reset didnt fix it.
For some reason, leaving it to charge in the USB docking cradle all day has cured it
I'm such a liar!
Stupid things started doing it again, worse than ever
Have you got the broadcom BT update loaded on? If so get rid of it, thats what the problem was with mine. But then getting rid of that stopped my headset working if TT3 was loaded, so I have had to upgrade to TT5 to cure that problem!! My problems, though now resolved, all started after I did a rom upgrade from o2!!!!
There have been several problems with the 169 ROM by O2, which versions are you all using?

I did have, but have now rolled it back to the previous version. Even o2 admit that ver 69 has problems with BT devices!!! Wish they would check things before they release them!!
.169 killed my GPS and tom tom :'(
Crap. The problems started when I installed 169... and I've just ordered a TomTom from Ebay :'(
What should I roll back to? Or are there any "unofficial" later roms?

Activesync issue.... really weird!!!

Since yesterday that I installed the Kaiser L26 Diamond V9 ROM I am getting a white screen with a black frame when Activesync is sending/receiving syncronazing .... I have noticed that it happends when I send an email... the email gets sent but the message stays in the outbox, therefore everytime that syncs it sends the email again to the recipient.
I have done any kind of trouble shooting possible and of course re-flashed different cooked ROMS and also the original ROM.
Have change the SPL from 3.28 to 3.29 to 3.56 and nothing...
Right now I have on my HTC branded Tytn II the Original ROM released last month, 3.28 SPL, and the problem remains.... if anybody has seen/heard or read this before please share your experience and possible solution....
My outlook account seems to be fine on the PC and OWA...
I am thinking that in some way the phone is bricked ???....
I appreciate any comments...

3G Diamond keeps rebooting during calls

My new Diamond keeps rebooting itself during calls. Somtimes, it lasts for 10-15 mins without a reboot and at other times, it reboots itself almost immediately. When not in a call, it has no issues whatsoever.
When I did a hard reset and used it, it worked fine for many calls but after sync with our Exchange server, the troubles started almost right away. No issues with the same data on my older TyTN II.
And I didn't install a single cab file...
I tried the stock HTC Asia ROM as well as Dutty's and nothing changed. I've tried three different Radios - 1.00.25.05, .06 and .07 and have the same symptoms. I'm currently on the stock ROM 1.93.707.1 WWE.
I thought it might be issues with my SIM so I got a new one and nothing changed.
Has anyone seen this issue before? The service centre looked at it for a day and said all was fine... so any help here would be greatly appreciated.
One additional point I've noted is that the Diamond reboots only when a data connection is active. If Data is disabled, then the phone doesn't reboot at all...
Anyone else seen these issues?
Touch Diamond Reboots in middle of Call
Just got my TD back from repair and was told it had a new motherboard. (which one would imagine would give you latest roms) and yesterday it rebooted 8 times during calls, and today 4 times (Maybe its getting better) but this is unacceptable in a $10 phone. Let alone the TD. Tim
Hi!
I have the similar problem. I tried to install different roms. These did not solve my problems. It seems to me, that it is a hardware design failure.
any ideas about fixes yet?

Diamond reboots when called
I have just had this same problem with my Touch Diamond, my Touch HD is away for repair with the same problem, it's a real pain as you don't know who called. I have installed the Diamond Project Team Rom Release V2 and I have just removed the slide to answer addon and will see how it goes.

Weird Kaiser Bahavior mostly after Standby

Hi,
I have a Kaiser with the following Items:
ROM: 3.31.111.4 GER (downloaded from german T-Mobile Site)
Rom Date: 09/01/08
Radio: 1.59.42.15 (from here, more about it further down)
Protocolle Version: 25.83.30.07H
Here the Problem:
I used to have a Custom ROM on this Kaiser (see my previouse Posts) but since i had some Issues about GPS and so on i decided to go back to the original T-Mobile ROM and downloaded it from theyre german Website.
Everything seemed to be working nice till i noticed that i didnt get as many Calls as i used to.
I went to check my Amount i had left on my Prepaid Card by hitting *101# and send but all i always got was a Message saying *Session ended*, instead of my Amount on my Account.
So i tryed to make a Phonecall with my Kaiser but all i heard was like a Pianolike multitone Chirp in the Speaker.
So i deleted all the Programs i have added, like TOMTOM6, and some Games and i rebooted the Kaiser to find out i could make Calls again.
Shortly thereafter i noticed that this would happen every Time my Kaiser was in Suspend Mode/ Standby so i deactivaed this.
Today i noticed that it happened again even i still had Suspend disabled.
I have already called HTC here in Germany today and all the LAdy told me to try to flash the T-Mobile ROM again and see if it still does the same as it does now, and if so to go to a T-Mobile Shop.
I have looked on this great Site but since i have PC Issues at this Time as well as PPC Issues i cant read through the entire Kaiser Section, I am sorry.
I have already tryed multiple Radios from the BIG RADIO Thread, but no changes.
Does anyone know of any FIX of this, does anyone else have this Issue too?
I would be very Helpfull for any Solution because i really dont want to have them send it in, since i dont know which Radio was on it Stock, nor do i wanna be w ithout it for weeks if i can fix it somehow, even i would much rather have a Diamond in exchange for it (yeah i know i am a dreamer LOL)
Thanks in Advance for any Suggestions, Help or Solutions.

MMS / EMAIL MSVC stopped working! HELP

Hi everyone..
I am a somewhat profiecient Tilt user.. had a few windows mobile phones before.. and had my tilt over a year.. I never had any problems with the WM 6.0 rom so I never upgraded it.... But now I ahve a problem... Today my GPS wasn;t locking on so I reset the phone, and as usualy it fixed the problem.. but now my messaging (and email) won;t work...
I have the HTC Home Installed (been installed a long time) and I use the buttons on the clock screen on it to access my MMS and Email... I went to send a txt and it did nothing.. I thought hte phone was froze.. but other stuff works.. I tried email next.. same problem... It also says the MSVC has encountered a problem and that is not working either.. it all happened at the same time....
The real problem is I have my phone EXACTLY how I wanted it.. with this tweek and that tweek... This program and that program.. this setting & that setting... sigh... I have an odd provider (Einstein PCS) so I had to set up all custom MMS, Email, Internet, and other setting that took a long time to get them all just "right"... I thought the SD card may have went, but other software that I know is on the SD card runs fine (including tomtom)... Any suggestions from anyone before I do hard reset? Please.. I don;t want to have to redo everything...

Hi
I have found that when something stops working after installing new software, if I uninstall any software, in the reverse order it was installed, this usually restores functionality. Uninstalling one piece of software at a time and running trials in between uninstallations usually helps to identify the culprit. If you haven't actually installed new software to co-inside with the failure then this advice is no good for you.
For future reference I would recommend using Sprite Backup (I think that the latest version is 6.5 and can be found on their website). With this software you can make a back up of your existing configuration prior to installing any new software. Then, if anything goes wrong you can just hard reset and run the backup file (stored as an .exe file) from the storage card and you'll get back to exactly where you were before the install.
Hope all that helps.
Cheers

Thanks for the advice but I did nto install anything.... I will get that sprite backup though for future use... thank you.... What I did find this morning is this...
http://www.htcwiki.com/thread/107262...&maxResults=20
It seems many other people have had MOST of the same problem... When I followed the directions and deleted the inbox om my SD card, it fixed everything... even the Microsoft Voice command.. no idea how they are related, but it must be.... The only problem is that now after doing all this research on new ROMs, I found one I want to try... now I gotta decide if I want to go through all that work if I don;t have to... I think I will do the sprite backup.. download a default at&T 6.0 rom if I can find one.. then TRY The new rom.. if I hate it.. install the default rom and resotre my settings.. Thansk for you help though

Do you have your Einstein settings. I haven't been able to get my Fuze to connect reliably. I'd certainly appreciate it. Thanks!
