trinity freezes? HELP!

yesterday i installed the rom of one of the above threads (win 6.5.28052) but everytime i boot up my device (when it is installed) it crashes.. constantly the same screen and i cant do anything?
i wanted to flash it to another win 6.5 rom. but i cant even turn on active sync on my phone
can anyone help me?
and fast. because i cant call and sms..

If I`m right it should connect again after You have a new SPL onboard. Relatively new here myself...
Another method would be to flash directly from an old SD card (not a new micro with adapter).
Edit : Maybe I misunderstood "turn on active sync on my phone" : Are You trying to flash when in bootloader mode (tricolor screen) ?

i was not flashing my phone in tricolor screen. but i did saw that screen when i installed the new rom?
but how do i come in the bootloader?
EDIT: can u please explain me in steps how i have to do this? (i am not so smart in those things..)
and how do u flash with a SD card?
another EDIT: i came a little bit further. no i see the commanager screen and disabled everything, then i tryed to turn on active sync. but then it freezes I WANT TO USE MY PHONE AGAIN!

Where did you find 28052 for trinity?.
Bootloader mode push on+camera botton+soft reset.

it was an older version.. typed it wrong. it was 28014..
but do u have a clue how i can fix this?
EDIT: now if i unlock my device. i get the windows screen when it boots up and does nothing.. so i cant do even less..

Start your phone in Tri Color Screen mode. Steps below
--Unplug your phone from USB

--While still holding them down, press the Reset Button using the Stylus
--Release the Reset Button, but continue to hold the Power/Camera buttons until you see the Tri Color Screen
--Plug in the USB cable (if asked about installing a driver, do this), You should see USB in the White Box)
Now you can Flash.

that tricolor screen says:
TRIN100

so the spl version is good?

What a good ROM is depends on Your liking. If You want a clean 6.5 base to install stuff Yourself and have lots of free RAM for bigger apps, check the second post of

The one my phone came with was also from xda-devs but couldn`t run iGO (nav software) because there was too little free RAM, too much preinstalled stuff running like Manila eyecandy...
So if You want a ROM with fancy today screens and other preinstalled stuff You`ll have to take a look around here, otherwise check the one above, many ppl recommend it.

i dont like the standard skins of windows mobile 6.5 but i like the start menu and the file explorer thing,
and i used SPB Mobile before and i like that!
but what is the lightest version of windows mobile 6.5 here on xda? without that fancy touchflo etc, only the good start menu in the top and a good file explorer were u can scroll with u finger?

T5355 stuck on "TOUCH Diamond2" screen

Hi guys!
I have been trying everything that I could find on XDA to fix my problem.
I got this HTC clone a few weeks ago, and it was working fine.
I decided to install a UI on it and it worked fine. After a while I got bored of the UI, so I decided to uninstall it. After the uninstall, the device indicated that it needed to be restarted. I did that, but after it rebooted, it started to reinstall Windows Mobile 6.1. I was annoyed by this, but was like, whatever, and let it continue.
Where the real problem started was when the device froze up (I left it alone for over an hour, but there was no change).
I then had to pull the battery. After I put the battery back into the T5355 it just keeps getting stuck on the "TOUCH Diamond2" screen.
I tried all the hard reset and soft reset tricks I could find and have no been able to either setting it back to factory or bootloader mode.
I was able to find a post that described how to place the boo.ini, flash.bin, and loader.bin file onto my micro sd card. I was able to to get the boot.ini an flash.bin files, but can't seem to find a loader.bin file (it that the actual OS rom?). I then found a post that showed how to use HiSilicon IDT to force the install of the OS Bin file (C02_HTC_20091102_R2127_英全视角B包.bin).
I followed the instructions on placing the T5355 into "Download" mode and pushing the OS bin fine to it.
I am able get the IDT software to detect the T5355 and start pushing the install, but the damned thing ends up giving an XLDR error.
PLEASE! PLEASE! Somebody help me! This phone is brand new and really want to get it working again.

I am so frustrated and can think of what else to do!
The biggest problem I have is that I can't use ActiveSync. If I could use that I wouldn't have much trouble.
Does anyone know how to use HiSilicon's IDT properly? The instructions I was working off of are in Russian. I think that a need a loader.bin file for the T5355 that I can put on my micro sd card...or maybe not...I don't know.
I just really want to get this device back to factory settings.

DalvuS, thanks for the reply, but the issue is that I can't seem to get into bootloader mode . I wish I could. The T5355 seems to be stuck in the middle of wm 6.1 install. I need to somehow wipe the install and be able to push a reinstall back to the device.

Exca that comment doesn't help me. It just makes me more sad. I was gipped when I bought the phone . I thought I paid for a "real" Diamond 2.

If you can't to catch the bootmode, looks like hardware problem.
You can't to repair it at home, imho. Try the specialized service.

Hello people, how can i dump my rom from my phone (mfu w71) for backup, because i cannot find any rom in english only in chinese. I started to dump the chinese rom with some chinese kitchen (K3系列ROM工具), but i'm stuck. I do not know to do anymore i have extracted ROM, SYS folder. I think it would be good to start another section on this forum for the chinese phones.
Some help from experienced cookers would me be much apreciated.

I discovered that the problem was that the PC I was attempting the install from was running an AMD based processor.
I tried on the family laptop (which runs an Intel processor) and the install worked!
I AM SOOOO HAPPY!!!
b0gdi good luck with your issue. Try doing a search here in XDA for "dump my phone".

nothing[switched off] -> press start -> command -> bootloader -> bootloader commands -> system start -> play
checking one by one by interfering would have done the trick

i Have Flash my phone 100 times with IDT for WM6.5 and WM6.1 all the versions my phone is T5355 Hot D2 but in one day i flash a rom that kill my phone the phone are conntinue to work but no screen picture only light i have try some russian Rom that kill my phone
the phone was been on guerant so i send him back to my supplier thay fix the phone but the factory said that thay need to change the screen so now thay really change the screen and the phone back to me with WM6.1 some New version 20.1.2010 some think like this i have made a call but the phone hang up and not make calls so i try to put him Back the WM6.5 English ROM that i use with this phone before i try to Flash Russian ROM that brake me the picture of the phone and block me the Bootloader Combination of SEnd+End+Power so that way i send him to repair .
so i try the English Rom that i have use before he DOwnload the Flash Fine but now the screen are stop to show picture But the Bootloader are work fine
so i try all the Roms that i have and all the same the screen dont want to show picture
some body have a same problem or can help me with this ?

Diamond warranty, Flash Problem!

I have a great Problem with my XDA Diamond! Since one month my touchsreen didnt response! At the moment runs olinex 1.40 at the pda. I have flashed the newest o2 rom and that work without a problem! But i cant start my device because the first adjust doesent work.... (touchscreen dosent work). I tryed Hard-SPL Unlocker post 39 that i can send my device back to the O2...
but at the process on the screen of my pc i have 0% for a time than came Error 202: connection....
activesync is ok!
I have tryed to update the olinex but the same problem ...
also with other roms...
I hope anyone of you have a idea because i wanna have my pda back ....

If Your touchscreen doesnt response, i think it would be a external problem. Did you drop it?Water spill...Maybe try flashing a new rom like Energy Rom 6.5 with maila 2.5(sense 2.5 UI) I just got my CDMA Diamond this Saturday. Great phone with the Windows Phone 6.5 Rom. Sorry but i tried to help but couldn't. If u have a warranty try to e-mail or contact HTC, maybe they might send you back A HTC HD2! I had the same problem
There are two different ways I fixed mine
1) Press and hold the power button + volume down + enter button (menu) while holding press the rest with the stylist. continuing to hold the buttons until a white screen comes up allowing you to hard rest the device.
2) If 1) doesn't work try try unlocking your phone again then putting a new rom on it. (this will work as long as your phone will connect to the computer, with two beeps)

[Q] [HELP!] Can't UnRoot/ Change Rom/ Acces Recovery.

Hey guys. I've got a rooted tattoo with a custom rom:
AzusaROM v1.04 - Speed Demon

I get error when im goin in to recovery (pressing home) in the "Vol-Down Start"-thing (where i flashed the ROM). I can't install the UniversalAndroot_1.6.1.apk because there is no file manager in the ROM. And the WiFi Don't Work. Htc Sync don't work so i can't install it that way. ReRooting or Anything don't work, i get "acces denied" when i tryed to Root it again..
Please, someone help? I want to have the original ROM/ a other Cutsom ROM.. :c

First plug your phone in while switched ON.

You wanna tell me that Azusa f***ed up your USB connection? Last chance:
1. Power your device off
2. Boot into Bootloader mode (I don't know if it was Volume Down + Red button or Home + Red Button). Press and hold Vol Down and then tap Power on button while holding Volume down...
3. When in boot mode, plug in your USB connection and wait until a few drivers are installed.
Then start the RUU image again...and keep the fingers crossed.

I have the same problem. I need install official ROM, because in my rom is not Market and i can´t root it(i think it Rom from Malaysia, because when i change language, there is English (Malaysia)). Nothing doesn´t work for me. I have Error 170, too, and plugin in bootloader doesn´t work.

EDIT: But i have another error. It says i haven't got right HTC ROM, i think i need branded rom. But i buy my mobile second hand and i don't know if it is branded and from which operator it is branded. How can i find it out?

Hello, I have a very big problem. I have Htc Kaiser. Keyboar not working in windows (when he still had) apart from d-pad (sometimes, but with times, but more often department into quite other way ) I flash Android (is a problem with colors).
I can't turn PDA in Bootloader mode. I press and hold camera key, soft reset , and sometimes turn on key. PDa turn in SMART MOBILITY text and i can't go back to Windows, or change te Android kernel. Please help me

Are you trying to flash Android from window rom? if yes, you can find full guide infomation from another forum:
Tilt, TyTN II, MDA Vario III Android Development, i learned flashing my android from there.
For android you need to get a proper kernel which usually better follow what the chef use in his cook build(Rom). This will avoid lot of problems after flash into your phone. Good luck!

Use NBH Editor to change your panel type, then flash again.
