Touchpad stopped Working for 2 Days..Then started working - Tilt, TyTN II, MDA Vario III General

I have had a tytn II running smoothly for about 4 Months. Then out of the blue my touchpad stopped working. I thought that it was a rom problem and flashed loads of roms to see if it would resolve...nothing. Took it to repair shop..he said the touchscreen needed replacing.
Took it home from them and brought a touch screen from ebay for the phone. Twenty mins later the touch screen started responding to taps. . For two days the phone would not respond to screen tabs..after flashing I could not load any roms because they would not pass the calibration screen..and yes i did flush the memory each time I flashed a ram.
I wanted to know if this was a common problem with this phone.. If any user has had this problem too..and any related info would be nice

Unlucky :( Touch Diamond touchscreen stopped functioning

Hello there community,
A few days ago my touchscreen just stopped working on my Touch Diamond, i tried everything to get it to work...
Updated rom with new firmware from the HTC website, did a soft rest, hard reset but it did not help
I hope maybe someone here had the same problem and solution for this, otherwise i have to RMA the device.
Thnx for any help
Hi Xnergy, have you got your Diamond repaired?
I am having the same problem on mine...
I had this also.
I did removed a battery for a whole day, like 24 hours, after that it works again!
Do the hard buttons work? I had something like this few times, as far as I remeber after removing battery for a moment it worked.
This happened to me in a few weeks ago. The touch screen either would not response, or that the alignment needed to be adjusted a few times a day. In the end, I send it in to the HTC service centre on 30th March. They replaced the whole touch screen, and courier it back to my office on 3rd April. The touch screen is working like brand new now.
yeh mine did this but i noticed tht if i keep the phones touchscreen worm abit it will function ok, gunna send it in to coz its starting to drive me up the wall

[Q] Galaxy S6 not registering touchscreen inputs. Any advice?

I've had a galaxy S6 (not an edge) for about a week and a half now, it's worked flawlessly until 30 minutes ago. I have not dropped it or gotten it wet. The touch screen just started having a very hard time registering any inputs. The reactions are extremely delayed and it only registers maybe 1 out of every 5 touchscreen inputs. The hardware button inputs still work as normal. I've powered down the phone completely as well as rebooting it but nothing changed. I've closed all running apps as well. I'm waiting for the battery to die and then I'll let it charge. If all else fails I know I can factory reset but I'd prefer not to lose S-health info. Anyone have any experience with this or tips?
EDIT: And a factory reset didn't help. Looks like I'm off to T-Mo tomorrow.
Sounds like a broken digitizer . Take it back to the store.
I had the same issue with one unit, it was mostly noticeable when the phone was flat on the table. Ended up exchanging it for a new one. Thank God it happened early enough for me to be able to return it for a new one.
Thanks for the replies. I contacted T-Mo last night. A new one is being shipped to me.
Try the charger

[Q] I have replaced my screen twice but the touch screen stops working after 24h

Hi friends,
A week ago I decided to finally replace the cracked screen of my phone. The phone was perfectly working, with the exception of the annoying lines everywhere around the broken glass.
I went to a repair service (not official) to have it changed for a new one (glass+lcd) and got it back repaired after few days.
During the first hours the phone was working just fine, but I noticed that the touch screen was slowly getting erratic. After few hours it was just a bit erratic but ok. 10 hours later it was almost impossible to use already. 24 later it didn't respond anymore to the touch.
I went back to the repair service and asked for a new screen that I got for free because we assumed it was a problem of the new screen. Problem is, it happened exactly the same with the second one!! And now, 24 hours later, it doesn't work anymore.
I have done a factory reset. I have flashed new ROMs, I have flashed back to the stock ROM, updated it, nothing has changed so it totally looks like a hardware issue.
My question is:
What may be causing my new screens to go mad after working perfectly fine during the first hours?
Summary:
My Moto G 2014 works perfectly, but it has a crack in the screen
Decide to go to a non official repair service to have it changed for a new one (LCD + Glass)
First hours with the new screen: All works fine
Slowly, the touch screen becomes more and more erratic
24 hours later the touch screen is useless (it still reacts to touch but totally mad and weak)
Decide to have it replaced again (this time for free)
With the second new screen, we test that works fine, and to confirm that is not the phone, we install back again the first new screen, verifying that it doesn't work.
Finally install the second new screen. All seems to be perfect!
Experience again all the previous points
What should I do lads? Did the repair service **** my phone? ;^(
It could be that water somehow got in (speaking from experience).

How would that explain that the newly replaced screens work fine for the first hours and then gradually stop working?. Also , I can't imagine how water got in the phone for the last weeks, besides, it works perfectly, is just the touch screen.Water would most likely **** more things. no?
Has anyone experienced the same problem as me?
thanks!
Is it genuine?

The screen? I don't actually know. But after changing twice the LCD seems unlikely that the LCD was defective. It may be more related to my phone (although I can't understand what) and something the guy of the repair service ****ed.
Any thoughts?
thanks for the help

[Q] touchscreen working at boot, but stop working after some time

Hello xda community,
I contact you because my mum's phone fall and screen broke.
She took it to a phone repair shop that changed it, but she said it was still not working.
I was away, it was few month ago but now I came back and try the Z1 and touch and screen and everything was working fine when I tried. But after like 10 min no touch.
I found the way to reboot it, and when I reboot most of the time touchscreen work again, but go away fast.
I searched and found some thread talking about software issues for touchscreen, so I tried updating to lineage, but it's doing the same, so I suspect HW failure.
This phone still seems nice to me, the battery seems to still be ok, the screen quality is good, the lineage 16 is fine so... if I can revive it, I'd be happy to do it.
Any idea what can be wrong ? Is there any component failure that could lead to that ?
Thanks guys.

N7000 freezes at startup logo for 2 min and S Pen doesn't work. Random reboots too.

Hi,
I just bought two untested N7000 phones. One is working fine after a factory reset but the other one is having some issues.
The phone takes about 2 min to get past the bootloader screen, but eventually boots. Download mode works too.
However, the S Pen is not working at all and the speaker seems to be dead as well.
I already opened the phone up to check for any signs of water damage or other hardware issues, but couldn't find anything. Almost looks brand new inside. The board gets somewhat warm, but not too much. I also tried 3 different batteries (they all work fine in the other Note). Flashing a stock JB rom didn't help either.
What could be the issue with this phone?
Thanks
