need help, some flash rom question

hi , im a qtek 9100 user. (g3 device) ROM : 2.17
im planning to flash rom soon, but this is the first time i do it, im quite confuse the step, i go thur the wiki wizard page

i think the link got problem or some 1 remove the thread, so i can't find a page that can step by step teach newbie flash rom. any 1 can provide me a full detail step by step flash wizard rom??? Currenly my qtek9100 is very very lag, and a lot program that i installed and deleted, but the program icon is still there.
i have some extra question here,
what the different with ROM and RADIO ROM??
my ROM is 2.17, i wish to upgrade to a lastest and smooth ROM, can some 1 give some suggestion??

no one able to give me a hand here??
p/s: i hope some expert can write down a step by step flash rom tutorial for newbie, include all the rom and software that need to use in flash rom process.... it will be help newbie understand well the process step. thanks

I don't think anyone has the time to write out a detailed step-by-step process again for you. If you are having issues with viewing the wiki page, you can try using the search feature to do a little research. If you're still having problems, then I wouldn't recommend trying this. It is a bit technical and takes time to understand.

Update Utlity

Im currently trying to use a ROM to upgrade my phone but everytime i try i get a message telling me about my Update Utlity does anybody know how to fix this

follow step by step... word by word... flashing is a serious matter, it could make ur phone dead, or cause other issues... so make sure you've read very thoroughly through it.

Alright ive seriously looked all over the threads and i cant find out how to properly install a rom Ive tried serverl times and nothing works i have a htc pure could some one please point me in the right direction!!!!

The first item on the check list is this file that you need to unlock your phone for flashing custom ROMs:

The second item in the checklist states that the phone must be connected via active sync or Center for windows mobile in order to unlock you rphone.
You must do this otherwise you will get a error message like the one you described.
So, take your time and read the WHOLE first thread in the top of my post, and and after that go look around this forum for a nice ROM to try.
I recomend any of NRGZ28 ROMs. They show you what your phone should have been when you bought it.
The easiest way to flash your Topaz is to use the SD-card flashing method.

Unlocking your TD2 won't do any harm to your device as long as you carefully follow the instructions from this forum. Me and my TD2 can be a perfect example of it. The only issue is that your warranty is no longer valid once you unlock your phone and change rom. On the other hand, you can always return to stock rom and re-lock your Topaz.
A newbie's guide to unlocking TD2:
Step 1. Read everything carefully.
Step 2. Do step 1 again.
Step 3. If you have any doubts or there's something you don't understand do step 1 and/or ask the forum for help.
Step 4. Unlock, change rom, install new software, etc.
Step 5. Enjoy!

Very good and i didnt have any problem but i'm trying to install a rom but my g1 only restarts, then i unrooted the g1 and do it again but im having the same problem and i want help before the g1 dies which can be whether everything goes well according to the tutorial

Sorry for the late help, but if you still have this problem, you can follow the guide I created on how to root G1 based on what I have done when I root my phone. This will allow you to flash any room. this guide is also easy to follow. but for the meantime I still can't provide links so just copy paste the address of my site. http://techyknow.weebly.com/how-to-root-tmobile-g1.html hope that will help you.
