Just switching over from the Hermes world.
One recent addition to Hermes ROMs was the battery icon the top bar with granularity to 1%.
ie. take a look at the 1st pic in http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=2522625&postcount=1
some chefs made theirs with different colors, others were 100% white.
I know the Kaiser does 1% in the battery settings page, just wondering why I didn't see this top bar change getting cooked in to any Kaiser ROMs? Did it come and go already, or just not appeal to Kaiser folks?
Yes, I am well aware of other battery meters... like I said just curious about the cooked in battery icon.. small little perk that I miss from Hermes.
The 1 percent incraments is standard in the Kaiser (meaning nobody had to make an dlls to help make it). There are ways of showing the percent on the right, just have to find the right battery program to do it

If you're handy with reshacker, you can look here for a start.

I created a new battery meter for my Kaiser. It's not too hard. I would post it, but it's uses borrowed images and since I don't use phcanOverbmp, it may not be too helpful for many people.

SPB Pocket Plus makes a battery icon where the clock goes in the taskbar. I really want that and I don't know how to get it!
He might mean the normal battery meter on newer WM6 builds...
Running late. Post later.
Cool. That batterymeter thing adds an icon to the taskbar, but what I am looking for is something that replaces the time reading on the taskbar with the battery icon that you get when you tap on the time.
Hello folks,
This is my first post, so please excuse my ineptitude/ignorance. I've been searching all day for a Cab that will show my battery level as a %age in the top bar of my new XDA Stellar. I've seen loads of screen shots on here of various customized today pages, many of which seem to have this snazzy little feature. They've even inspired me to download the HTC home plug-in, task manager and HTC home customizer and I'm now loving the new Non-O2 look of my Stellar. I'm yet to find that battery status indicator thoguh. Would someone please take pity on me and post a link before my head explodes. Thanks in advance.
- VistaHide BatteryGauge - Simple Battery meter, nice colors.
- SBSH iLauncher - Great Launcher, multiple tabs, battery meter on top.
- SPB PocketPlus - Another great Launcher, multiple tabs, battery meter on top.
- Batti - ((Thanks to _Alex_ )FYI, Batti eats batteries.)
- Ariel Battery Meter - Replace your Start Menu picture with a battery meter.
- QuickMenu - Really MUST have. Nice cascading Start Menu, and a nice battery meter.
Enough choice, isn't it?
All above apps are, (or can show) a battery meter on top of the screen.

Thanks for that.
I never used Batti, just provided the link to this well known battery meter.
Added QuickMenu link
I personally like Areilbattery 2.
Wow, that was a quick response. Thank you so much. I'll have a play around with those suggestions.
EDIT: ArielBattery was pretty much exactly what I was after. Thanks again guys.
Battery Meter in taskbar?
My friend has an older WM5 device and he has a battery meter in the lower taskbar. Is there a plug in so I can achieve this and not have the HTCHome Plug in on my Tilt just for the battery meter?
Search for "Batti"
I personally like the Taskbar Battery Indicator on the Spb Pocket Plus 3.2 (look it up). The newer version doesn't seem to have it.
I've tried other sucha s the SBSH Launcher which integrates nicely with WM6 and SBSH Pocket Breeze...
Or you can use the Magic Button which provides a thin battery meter above the upper taskbar (besides other functions).

Yes it does.(I have Pocket Plus 4.0.2). jost press the stylus on any tab => hit options => Task battery indicator options => chouse the size of the indicator.
Vista Hide is Awesome
Just a personal thought. I have usd Vistahide for ome time, and it is very nice, small footprint and shows up nicely, And uses almost no resources on the phone.
My Excalibur has the battery indicator along the top 3 pixels of the screen. Any way to get that on my Kaiser?
I believe the program you are asking about is called Batti 2.1 by David Andrs
http://code.google.com/p/batti/
Looks like there is a 2.4 out, going to go grab it myself!!!

perfect. ya that was it. Thanks.
hehe, I actually just noticed that SPB Pocket Plus (that I was already using) actually has an even better bar style taskbar battery indicator, so I just uninstalled batti.
ok ok, I've already tried searching, but obviously not sure what to search because only threads I found were people asking the same thing. Pretty much all the roms with the exception of ROMeOS has a battery meter with color. ROMeOS is white only. Where can I get the version that has color? Thanks.
Here you go.....http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=437307
there is also a program called batti that puts a bar along the top of the screen that lowers as the battery does and can be customized its nice
where can i found it???
If your still looking for batti

thanks
i ll try later
Hey guys jus wondering if theres a way to disable the time on the top taskbar/notification area. Thanks
I know for a fact that it can be done in the older builds of WM6.5, But how do u do it on the newer builds
the behavior desired is already "done" in some builds/flavors of WM6.5.
i might be wrong but what i gather is that it is a certain mix of files concocted by the chef that causes the desired behavior to break. TPC and abusalza often used the SAME base build for WM6.5 in some of their recent ROMs and abusalza's ROM was usually well behaved regarding respecting the show clock in titlebar setting, while TPC's ROMs were almost always "broken" in this respect. i recall TPC himself claimed that he "has to have it this way" cuz something else important breaks if he lets the title bar clock setting have its way.
still, it may very well be a new intended behavior from M$ in the very newest of builds (which i haven't tried out first hand or even read about in detail yet). however, this is unlikely because M$'s DEFAULT CHome has a big clock panel on the today screen and it would be redundant to have the titlebar clock always showing, especially when on the home screen. it makes more sense to show battery in that position in the titlebar when on the home screen.
hope that helps in some way??!??
EDIT: or is your question actually about COMPLETELY removing the titlebar clock AS WELL AS the battery meter that mutually exclusively pops up in its place?
Thanx not to worry, its not possible to remove time in the taskbar on newer builds so im stuck wid it
