Hi there
As far as i know, it downloads sopmething like 10 - 20 KB per update, wich is not much at all!
Hope this helps!
(In South Africa we pay R 2.00 p/m, so i know, because i also check my traffic!)
ok sounds good...so i can get like 50 updates a month for 2€...that's really not bad...
Is there a way to check my traffic?
thx you guys...damn I love this place

New Problem....or better...now it is a problem....I can connect to GPRS (Full reception) but htc home can't download any information for my city...so i tried a diff. one...like NY...also didn't work....and Vienna / Austria (the one I want) also doesn't.
All it says is: "Unable to download information for your city. Please try again."
HELP!
TIA
You can use BatteryStatus, too. It has nice daily/monthly traffic counters
hmmm update via the computer (connected via snyc center) works....so maybe it is the GPRS connection....hmm

hello
anyone knows a program that uses data connection (GPRS/EDGE for example) to send the GPS position of the device to a server each 10 minutes, for example?
I don't need a beautiful interface with map or anything like that... I'd be happy with any program that just connect to an specific URL sending the data using GET, like:
http://domain.com/script?la=22.44444&lo=-45.5555&speed=40
I was thinking about coding some parser from GPSProxy log to do that, but maybe someone know something already done?
thanks
gpsgate.com is super and works great

Hi there,
looking for a program that would allow us monitor signals from transreceivers.
Has anybody any ideas since i had no luck trying to find such program.
If no program available is there any features provided by tytnII how such data could be gathered.

Guys help me out, I misplaced the CDs that came in the gorgeous Diamond box.
And as many of you I have Flashed my device with new Kick arse Panoshas.
Now I cant install the spb gprs monitor that came with the CDs.
I know the app is not free, but I "technically" have it.
Can some one hook me up?
If im making a mistake, by asking for software that is not freeware I will erase this thread.
Thanks before hand fellas.
Cheers!
Maybe you could get the CD from your operator?
If you've got a licence key, you can download it from spbsoftwarehouse.com
Personally though, I prefer batterystatus for monitoring data usage, because it does pretty much the same thing, and also monitors phone usage, sms etc.. and a lot more device info (if you're interested)

Thanks, is batterystatus free??
Cheers brada!
*BUMP*
Because GPRS Monitor isn't working correctly on Diamond, it keeps forgetting to count the transmitted data.

Which version do you use? I have installed 2.5.1 retail licensed. The program is set to monitor the traffic over my GPRS-connection, and it counts the sent data just fine.
Have fun!
I also use this version, v2.5.1 Build 247, and suddenly it stopped counting the traffic.
I even tried to rename the old data file of GPRS Monitor, so it creates a new one but this doesn't help either. It counted 225 KB of traffic and since then no more counting.
Btw, I looked for BatteryStatus and all sites/projects that I've found don't count anything but just display something.
