I've got a problem with my HTC Tytn 2. When im using my pda screen turns white somteimes and button near the screan dosnt work. Befor it happend only few times but now its geting worse. If somone know whats wrong please help me. I think the problem is with connection between mainboard and top part of the phone but im not sure. Is there any posibility to buy this cable? I also heard that there is posibility it is not connector (maybe something wrong with software?). Thank u for your help and sorry for my english im not fluent speaker

I have this wierd experience with my Imate PDA2K, yesterday, when I open my phone (imate pda2k), the screen suddenly flicker... and then it fades. so i did a soft reset, as i thought would help me out of the problem...But to my surprise, nothing happened, it goes on flickering and fading, until such time, that the screen totally faded, all you can see is a whjite screen with no thing visible.. after minutes of doing a hard reset, still nothing happened, i leave that **** phone on the shelf. after 30 minutes, I checked it and all things back to normal, the screen was ok till a couple of hours, and that same problem happened again till now... What im gonna do? I always end up as if I will throw that silly damn phone to the trash can.. hehe.. What could be the problem then? Is the poroblem was on the LCD? Will the upgrade to v1.40.. solve this? Pls any idea, im desperate..

Now the screen of the phone back to normal, but still, I experience that flicker thing on the screen... Its hard for me coz, I bought the phone in the Middle east, and Im using it here in the philippine... and no imate product is being sold here in my place.

the problem still there... Another thing I noticed was that the screen will fade and then for you to be able to see a text or anything on the screen, you have to press the on/off button.. but still after some times, same stupid thing will happen again and again...... what should i do? Anyone of you here experiencig that same problem with your blue angels?

Im so desperate... the problem still there... I have not upgraded to the latest rom version yet.. Sometimes the screen goes blank (just all white).. and then when your press the on/off button several times, thats the time the screen will go back to normal, and then suddenly it will flicker for about a minute and then it stops. TO THOSE WHO ARE EXPERTS HERE IN THIS FORUM, ANY IDEA WHAT COULD BE THE PROBLEM? I DID A HARD RESET SEVERAL TIMES ALREADY AS I THOUGHT COULD HELP ME SOLVE THE PROBLEM BUT STILL NO IMPROVEMENTS.. I b ring it to repair shop this morning, (actually they are not repairing Blue Angel) but he had tried to repair the same phjone with the same problem as mine before, he said that the problem was on the ( I dont know the right spelling though., hehe(Flex)? is it true?
My touch diamond with rom 1.93 suddenly is very dim screen. When i reset & there is nothing on the screen but i can hear the os startup sounds. After a while i will be able to see something on the screen, but it is extremely dim to the put where i cant use the phone outside. An error shows up right away stating that there is a microp version mismatch & to reinstall the microp firmware. Tried reinstalling the 1.93 rom, but that did not help. still the same error. Can anyone help out here, im at a total loss? Thanks Malik

Send it warranty if uu don't want it take appart, i had same problem i recon is the screen connection (in my it was lose)....

Use warranty if you have. Goto a tech guy if possible. If no solution then sit down and get ready to rip it apart.

microp error
This occurs when while boot diamond fails to find the correct hardware radio, wifi and Bluetooth
Well the small cable was not attached properly so i opened and attached it. Hell of a job, HTC are very compact.
And WIFI bluetoth back on.
Warn you this cable is very delicate and HTC's original manual says to replace this cable once you open your device. But where will you find a cable?!?!
And I have got the screen from ebay U.S.
Now while replacing the screen the tech guy stupid NooB forgot to take off the last fblack colored film of the display and reattached the new one over it, so now the digitizer isnt wrking properly and the new screen appears very dark.
I have to do it my self. I dont know if i will ever have my diamond back again

You have to attach two small connectors. They are very hard to install and yes it would be better you get it done from some place.

Hi Msa!
Going back to your question...have you already tried a soft reset? Have you maybe installed any apps recently? you might want to uninstall those apps which could cause the fault....maybe you upgraded your ROM/Radio recently?? Try a fresh install if your problem persists..
Please tell us a little bit more....be more specific.....

If none of that works (soft reset etc) you might have to do a hard reset and lose everything.
What have you done on it recently?
At what point does the black screen come on? Do you get rom info etc at the beginning?
I had the same problem
I had the same problem, I sent my phone to htc they replaced my mother board and sub board.
I think It's a well known problem and htc knows but will not recall.

All I have done is, I downloaded the latest ROm from the HTC website and the phone worked good, suddenly the screen turned black
I have tried everything to do rest (soft n hard) but the problem it when I turn on the device I cant see anything ALL BLACK, not even the first screen and when i tried to connected to the PC I couldnt run the hard reset as well cuz it says he HTC is not connected
???

I had same problem a few times,what you have to do is take the battery out of the phone for a few seconds,and then replace it.You should be able to switch it on and it should reboot up,at least mine does.Im thinking about having it replaced,because it has goes dead with a black screen a few times and nothing works till i do the above action

I encountered this once and after leaving the phone on charge for say 30 minutes, everything was back to normal. Sice you say you have upgraded ROM and all, maybe your battery is completely drained.

I resolve my problem, previously that WIFI not work. I disassamble an assamble HTC Touch Diamond and it begin work. Problem was in connectors and cables, try remove it and place again to your place. All work, WIFI, BT, GPS, Phone ......(Sorry for my english).

Hello my p3600 has a big problem the screen on the right side from top to bottom its not calibrated.
I already calibrated it with the calibrating tool but it works only temporarily (ween it works)...
I was wondering if any of you people had a similar problem and what did you do to fix it?
I have a Qtek s100 that the sound and microphone stopped working can any one tell me if the screens are the same? (maybe i can exchange them)

no man the screens are very diferent. try to dissasemble the trinity clean the all borders of the LCD.... and try.. :-(
i have the same problem, and thte htc is clean. anubody as a solution for this problem?
Seams that nobody has the solution...
Iam going to open mine and try to see if some sort of cleaning to do
i had the similar situation, but i did some tests before i bought that one...
after their fail i find a better model.
but if you already have phone with that problem check if they have and plastic on lcd. it might be sth. with this.

I Have HTC Kaiser with a screen problem...image on screen is "decentralized".

I've tryed to re-allign screen (but is only fot touch)
I've tryed to flash from original to a new rom from xda
I've tryed to complete disassemble the phone and clean everything...
...but the problem persists...
Another thing: in the left vertical "black line" touch work (responds on touch, but do nothing)
