I flashed with the v3 elite rom last week and its so far been fanstastic.
My only problem is that although all my tones from
\Internal Storage\My Documents\ are selectable in the notification settings, in the alarm settings they are not??
Is there any way around this?

i have installed an other alarm program, it calls enAlarm3.0.
Now i want to change the mapping of the clock from the HTCHome plugin.
When i'm clicking the clock i want to open this alarm program.
How can i do this? Can i change the registry, chang the path of the wm clock program?

NI think it's hard coded into the application itself. Try BatteryStatus or rlToday. They are VERY customizable.
how do i change the default ringtone for the Hero Roms. im using Overdose V3 the personal Drizzy one.
hopefully its just something i can find in the settings, the notification and sms ringtone are not the same thing.
in the messaging app, go to settings, notifications, then select sound

replaced the AOSP Clock with the stock clock... couple of issues/questions
1)
Still trying to get the stock clock to work right. The timer alarm doesn't sound, and this seems to be true on all dev ROMs. Have tried several kernals.
What I did notice, is that if the phone is on vibrate... well, it vibrates. So what I'm wondering is, is there somewhere it is looking for the alarm? Somewhere that may have been deleted when I went from stock, to a dev. ROM? I do see in the clockpackage.apk, androidmanifest.xml, lines regarding each function, but I can't translate.
I noticed there is no .odex file for this. I don't even know what an odex file is, do I need it? Or worst case, can I rewrite the .apk to fix this?

When I set the AOSP clock to DockAlarm.apk.old, the alarm time was still showing up on the lockscreen? Even after a restart!? Which makes me wonder where is that info stored? My dirty fix was to reactivate the app, and remove all alarms, then re-.old it. (think I found it... /data/data/com.android.deskclock but not sure if I can delete it without breaking the phone.)
However, the stock clock alarm does not show up on the lockscreen, which I did think was a nice feature... can I point the lockscreen to /data/data/com.sec.android.app.clockpackage? (stock alarm)

I was able to download and add my own ringtone in Sense 3.6, but I can't seem to find a way to add my own notification sound for text messages. Any suggestions?

Create folders in sdcard/media/audio/notifications and put your mp3 file in there.

Hi.Im new to the forums and dont speak English very well but i try to type corectly.
From today i installed Gueste2x Hybrid 3.8 ROM and for now i have two problems.The first is the Alarm clock.I used to CM 7.2 alarm clock but this is little different.Maybe a little older than cm7.2 alarm clock.Can i replace it with the one i like it ? I dont want to download external alarm clocks from google play.I want to replace the original one.
Second problem is the color of battery and signal.Maybe sounds stupid but i hate the cyanbread blue color of battery and signal icons.When i choose Androidian that is with green colors the phone said it was choosen but the colors is sill blue.I changed the theme from cyanbread to androidian for a few times.Restarted the phone few times but with no result.The colors are still blue.Please help me.Thanks.
