windows upgrade help - Tilt, TyTN II, MDA Vario III Themes and Apps

Please
I have kaiser
any idea why i can not download the WM6.1 from the htc original website
when i put the serial number they say : your device is not suitable
how this WM6.1 is for kaiser and how my kaiser isnt suitable?
thank you guys !

sounds like you're trying to download the ROM that is for HTC branded Kaisers instead of the AT&T ROM available here

+1 on the above. These are only for people who bought a HTC TyTN II from HTC.
You can download all the Shipped ROM's here: http://wiki.xda-developers.com/index.php?pagename=Kaiser_ROMs

Official WM6 spotted!

See the HTC WM6 Answers topic for more info, but i just flashed my Herald to a dutch WM6 ROM!
ftp://210.136.175.150/romcode/RomCode/HERALD-C9
There they are.
Is it true or a fake ?
I don't want to brick my device !
Another question: is your phone SuperCID ? Thx for answers !
I just flashed it, its the real thing, check the other thread for more information if you dont trust it
I just checked on the other thread and it seems to be real. I saw the information on a french forum (cause I'm french)
I just got my Wing and it has Mobile 6 should I dump and post? Or do enough people have it out there already
Enough people have plus we've already started making custom roms. Plus there Tmobile RUU is out so the official tmobile rom is out, plus the official herald is out. What a glorious month! lol
Finally - thanks
He man,
thanks a lot. I can finally try to unbrick my Dutch P4350. Many many thanks (I can't get the Rom from the official e-club site yet)
thanks my phone is ALIVE
I love you
Not working for O2 Terra!!!
Vendor-ID error and yes i took the german one!
I uploaded on rapidshare WM6 RUU WWE
HTC_P4350_WWE_4.17.405.2_4.1.13.44_02.94.90
http://rapidshare.com/files/49216240/HTC_P4350_WWE_4.17.405.2_4.1.13.44_02.94.90_Ship.exe
So, where are some of these custom roms? :-D
This worked for my dutch Herald! It's unbricked now and working smooth, thank you very much for this, now i don't have to send it to HTC repaircenter!
anyone have a english version ? i'v tried to download it from the htc eclub. it says to choose your handset from the list and language then download but doesn't give you the list.
I contacted HTC and they said the amount of people who have registered on the eclub just for that download and messed everything up. so don't know what's happening ?
Now all we need is a way to CID unlock our T-Mobile wings. . .
Anybody know the cost of doing it through imeicheck?
Purchase HTC Herald (Vodafone VPA Compact IV, HTC P4350,T-Mobile Wing) Unlocker Key for GBP 20.00
(apx. EUR 28.00 / USD 38.00)
from: http://www.imei-check.com/heraldunlock.php
English version worked great. No problems
I'm so f*cking mad now My device is at HTC Reapair Centre now
edit: Hell yes! Yust called a friend at the repair centre and my phone is coming back from HTC today
Let the cooking BEGIN

That's because it's a Dopod, not A HTC Herald..

(problem) Register @ HTS E-club

well
got the following problem
I have HTC tytn2 (Mda vario 3)
but i want to download updates from E-club site.
when i enter my S/N i cant register
does anyone have a fix for this, of has en S/N from original TYTN2??
thnx in advance
On the site it tells you that you can only register HTC branded phones i.e. not T-Moby, Organe, etc ones.
I can tell you that from personal experience, because I got the same thing with my vario 3.
On a side note, lots of people are having issues with WM6.1 anyway, if that's what you are looking for, so I just stuck to the tried and tested WM6
already using wm 6.1 dutty nothrills rom v3
What you need is in my sig. If you have additional questions, post in the existing HTC WM6.1 online thread.

Original HTC Firmware

Hi, I have a HTC Kaiser from a service provider called O2. I live in England and find that my Kaiser with O2 Custom Firmware and WM6.1 runs very slow compare to my brothers who has a T-Mobile WM6 Kaiser. Im including as much details as possible about my Kaiser:
WM 6.1 Pro
MSM 7200 400MHz
ROM Version: 3.29.206.0 WWE
Hoping if sumone cud direct me in right path to find the original HTC Firmware for the Kaiser

kaiser rom update for t-mobile handset uk

hi there,
i got a kaiser (mda vario 3 ) from t-mobile in 2007 december...
i been waiting for the new wm6.1 to come out,
i tried entering my serial number from my phone to the htc support website and it doesnt seem to recognise it,...
i spoke to t-mobile, they say it should recognise , other than that they cant help me?
does any one else have this problem or, i wud be great full if sum lend me thier serial or put up a official htc rom link to wm6.1
thanks
Since its a phone branded t-mobile, the SN is not recognised as an original HTC phone...
But it also seems a lot of people are having problem with their SN on the newly created HTC download interface, so it could also be HTC website's fault. (see other "New HTC ROM related threads" in this forum)
i updated with the first 6.1 HTC ship rom . That works very well. Havent tried this newer update yet. look at the first sticky in the rom section and try downloading it from here instead

Forum interest: Dumping HTC TP2 Dutch Rom

Hi guys and rom developers,
Since monday the 15th of june I'm a proud owner of a HTC TP2 smartphone.
This smartphone comes with the dutch version of windows mobile 6.1 professional and it is already sim unlocked (all HTC phones are sim unlocked).
I want to dump the rom+spl+p anything else to help the community to produce a Hard-SPL, cooked roms etc.
I admire the work that Pof has been doing during these years for the xda community and I want to help a bit. I know quite a lot of dumping, flashing, unlocking etc (just by reading the posts and tutorials on xda-dev).
I want to know how many members (including Pof) are interested in rom dump of a HTC TP2 Dutch.
Let me know by posting in the thread or by PM.
ROM dumps are always welcome!
other members with a branded device may want the dump when hardspl is launched....
and chefs might want a dump to look at the OEM goodies inside to incorperate in there next (NL) cooked ROM...
so just dump it!!
Dutch member here too Also interesting in an lite and speedy Dutch (NL) rom
Haha - me too - welcome!
HTC TP2 and MDA Vario V Dump
Guys,
A good friend of mine has bought the T-mobile MDA Vario V (Rebranded TP2).
I will offer the community tomorrow a rom dump of a dutch HTC TP2 and a dutch T-mobile MDA Vario V.
I hope that by comparing the two dumps, that Olipro/Pof can make a sim unlocker and a Hard-SPL.
Stay tuned!
Me tooooooooo!!!! So bring it on!!!!
another one here
Got it!
I have managed to dump the complete rom of the HTC TP2 and the MDA Vario V.
I will be posting tonight the download link + storage area mpa
Stay tuned.
ROM Dump for TP2 and MDA Vario V
As promised
I have extracted the rom from both TP2 and MDA Vario V (T-mobile rebranded TP2).
Both roms are in Dutch, so no WWE.
I have attached also both hardware information and storage map of both devices.
These are the downloadlinks for the roms:
- HTC Touch Pro2 Dutch: http://ecoluxurymarket.com/tp2dutch.rar
- MDA Vario V: http://ecoluxurymarket.com/variov.rar
I have only managed to extract the rom as .raw files. If somebody can convert them to .nbh that would be great.
Let's beging hacking this awesome device
TP2 WWE
I will be happy to dump the rom and post it if you show me how.So I can contribute.

Same here! hup holland hup
Hi
I am very interested to dump the original TP2 onto my VarioV. I am annoid about the Tmobile web 'n walk integration in the Opera browser. I have installed a clean Opera but after a restart it still does the Web 'n Walk part. Therefor I cant wait till one of you guys found a way to dump the rom onto a Vario5.
bye
Ik ben ook Nederlander.
I'm also a dutch-man, I ordered my TP2 at the t-mobile shop. Can't wait to receive it. Also I like to have a fast custom dutch rom with many tools (video players, WMWIFIrouter etc)
Hi @all,
the download link for TP2 rar file is no longer working.
Can the owner fix it?
topsecret, kunnen wij het maaken? ;-)
I think there is an official update available can someone download this one? and upload it? I don't have a S/N that works
