Registry hack to disable proxy perminently?

I've set up "My Work Connection" to connect to the internet via my home wifi connection.
I don't use a proxy to connect, but frequently the device sets a proxy on this connection by itself.
Is there anywhere in the registry that refers to network connections? I would like to disable this "feature"
cheers

How to set up proxy over wi-fi?

I'm trying to set up the Kaiser so when it connects via wi-fi it will access a proxy server before connecting to the internet.
I found out how to set one up using 3g/gprs but not using wi-fi.
Thanks

Wing, WiFi and http proxies

Folks,
I have a US TMobile Wing, WM6, and I am having problems with WiFi connections that use proxies. At work, we use a corporate HTTP proxy to access the internet.
The wing settings are as follows, WiFi connects to work, My Work Network has the proxy server set in the Advanced tab. I have been looking in the registry of the device (under HKLM\Comm\ConnManager\Providers\{7C4B...}), and as soon as the WiFI connects, the HTTP proxy I set gets marked as a null proxy (type 0). When the WiFi disconnects, the proxy entry in the registry is returned to its original type 1 (HTTP).
Anyone has any idea what I can do to prevent the proxy from being changed by the WiFi application? Is there a way to get hold of the WiFi connection application from a WM5 device to try it out?
Thanks in advance

Touch Diamond P3700

Hi all,
We have a strange problem here: A two different wi-fi networks. First of them - router is connected directly to ISP - no problem. All HTC Dimond touchs with WM6 (we have 3) works fine. In second network have a proxy server, because router is connected to internal LAN network. When we try to set up a proxy server form settings-connections-...-Add proxy server - it's look lik device can not remeber a proxy settings. Or it can not recognize them correctly. Accourding our test - access to internal resources in LAN network is OK, but access to Internet wich require Proxy was fail.
thank you in advance

wifi instead of gprs.

when ever I open Google maps or IE, it tries to connect to GPRS even if it is connected to WiFi. How can I make apps to use WiFi instead of GPRS when wifi is connected.
Two options - Either make sure the WiFi profile is set to connect to 'The Internet' or leave it set to connect to 'Work' but make sure you have a Proxy configured in the 'My Work Network' under Connection Settings.
Both of these settings work perfectly on my Kaiser. I have two SSID's broadcast from the same APs where I am - one which is authenticated & encrypted (WPA2-Enterprise with EAP-TLS Authentication & AES Encryption) and is considered 'Work' the other is Open and has no authentication/encryption and is considered 'The Internet', however this SSID is restricted on bandwidth and what protocols are allowed (ports 80 & 443 only). I have a proxy configured for 'My Work Network' and none for 'My ISP' and if either of these SSID's are connected when I open an Internet application then GPRS doesn't kick in. If they are not connected then GPRS does kick in.

Another way is is to download a cab called no gprs (its in my cab corner, see signature for link). Run it and disable gprs, connect trough wifi and browse away
