is there's an app which it increase the sound of the Diamond like
SRS WOW on HTC Touch (( i had one before )) and it was fantastic
i wonder what is the solution to the diamond .. it will be so good to have the sound increased ..
thank you
Although I havent tried this yet.. there is a registry edit to allow the audio booster app that comes with the unit to work without the need of a headset.
Do a quick search, youll find it.
hello shtewps
i did what you said but when i soft reset i must do it all over again .. also it didnt effect on the sound when i enabled it from the handset
any solution ??
here the solution...
go to:
http://ficca.bounceme.net/download/
and download/install MortScript41.cab (it's like a batch executer, very useful)
then the two tweak files: tweakP.mscr and tweakB.mscr
the 1st one is for "permanent" tweaks, before copying into your mobile just edit it with notepad and look inside to fit your needs, then copy both files in your mobile, where you prefer, but both files must be in the same directory, then run tweakP.mscr this will apply permanent tweak and will copy tweakB.mscr into your StartUp dir (\Windows\StartUp).
the 2nd tweakB.mscr is for "boot" tweaks, enable audio booster and enable hide sim contacts, if the file is under \Windows\StartUp the tweaks will executed every re-boot.
bye,

hello suiller,,
i did all what u wrote im not sure if i did it right but now it locks after my phone wakes up .. i dont like this feature .. how to disable it ??
also im new at this how to edit tweakP.mscr to know what i want to disable and enable ??!
((before copying into your mobile just edit it with notepad and look inside to fit your needs))
i couldnt finish this step cuz i dono what to do when i open it with the note pad..
plz tell me what to do...
don't worry my friend, I've re-uploaded a version without autolock feature, just download tweakP2.mscr
anyway to fit your needs just open that file from your PC with notepad, uncomment (by getting off the #) the line below "RESTORE default setting"
for ex to enable settings:
### AUTOLOCK WHEN SCREEN GOES OFF (NOT BLUR) ###
## ENABLE tweak setting
RegWriteDWord("HKCU","\ControlPanel\BackLight","AutoDeviceLockEnable",1)
## RESTORE default setting
#RegWriteDWord("HKCU","\ControlPanel\BackLight","AutoDeviceLockEnable",0)
### AUTOLOCK TIMEOUT ###
RegWriteDWord("HKCU","\ControlPanel\BackLight","AutoDeviceLockTimeout",30)
## RESTORE default setting
#RegWriteDWord("HKCU","\ControlPanel\BackLight","AutoDeviceLockTimeout",5)
and this instead will revert to default behaviour:
### AUTOLOCK WHEN SCREEN GOES OFF (NOT BLUR) ###
## ENABLE tweak setting
#RegWriteDWord("HKCU","\ControlPanel\BackLight","AutoDeviceLockEnable",1)
## RESTORE default setting
RegWriteDWord("HKCU","\ControlPanel\BackLight","AutoDeviceLockEnable",0)
### AUTOLOCK TIMEOUT ###
#RegWriteDWord("HKCU","\ControlPanel\BackLight","AutoDeviceLockTimeout",30)
## RESTORE default setting
RegWriteDWord("HKCU","\ControlPanel\BackLight","AutoDeviceLockTimeout",5)
tell me if you are still in trouble, I prefer the 1st setting to avoid auto-answer while the phone is in my pocket
bye,
davide

hi friend,
tweakP means Permanent so that script must executed just one time, for ex after you've just flashed a new rom
the second one, tweakB, means Boot, you have to copy just this script under "\Windows\StartUp" directory and it will enable the 2 tweaks needed to be executed every boot (enabling audio booster without headset + hide sim contacts)
the "boot" tweak doesn't give any kind of output, it is silent, anyway as you can read inside it... it will be executed after 1 minute because we have to wait that Flow3D has completed to load
I'm still investigating for collecting other "easy" tweaks... until now I have just these
bye,
davide
thank you very much suiller...
at least from this thread i learned about tweaks..
at last .. everything now is ok and happy with it
but i dont know whats going on with the tweak to enable Facing down the fone to mute the ring .. its not working do u know whats going on or do i post a thread about it
i read what you posted here but i cannot find anywhere tweakp.mscr and tweakb.mscr i followed the link you posted but is not good, it goes on another site, pls help

Hi all
I installed the HTC Home plug Based on the Kaiser one. With the Weather Patch
But now I have a strange problem. In the Weather Tab it says (null) instead of High or Low.
Same go's for the Ringtone.
Well the problem is: When I reload the Plug it works. But when I reboot my device it show op (Null) again until I reload the Plugin.
Does anyone know this problem???
Thanks in advance.
Same problem, haven't found a real fix yet but I got a workaround you can try.
After every reset of the device follow these steps.
- Disable HTC Home from the today screen.
- Open HTC Home Customizer
- Change some minor detail (usually selected weather city for me)
- Save
- Go back to today screen and HTC home is there with all language files working magically.
It's a bit of a pain in the ass but I haven't found a better solution just yet. Hopefully someone else can answer this for us but in the meantime you can use my cheap method to make it look right.
You have to rename:
windows\HTCHome.dll.0409.mui
windows\HTC_HDlg.exe.0409.mui
windows\HH_0409_WeatherCities.xml
to your locale variable (if your rom isn't wwe), in my case it's spanish (0C0A):
windows\HTCHome.dll.0C0A.mui
windows\HTC_HDlg.exe.0C0A.mui
windows\HH_0C0A_WeatherCities.xml
It worked for me.
There's another way to do it, harder but way better, i usually do this with my own cabs because after a hard reset i don't like having to change everything again. Steps:
1- Decompress the cab with winrar
2- Edit the file "setup.xml" and correct things you want to change about installation setup: name of files to install (like in this case), name of registry variables to write (like in 10-button commanager for wing), etc
3- Find and download "Cabpack 1.4", be sure to use the following options for it to work: "compression type = mszip", "Create cabinets for = 16 bit extractor"
4- Use it for re-compressing your modified cab and install.
5- Voilá... great pre-modified cabs that you can keep for the next hard-reset.
Hope you like it. Regards

Hello and thanks for this help !
But it doesn't work for me. Maybe you can help me ?
I have the same problem with "null:null"
But the files are already named with my locale variable. (I'm not sure)
windows\HTCHome.dll.040C.mui
windows\HTC_HDlg.exe.040C.mui
windows\HH_040C_WeatherCities.xml
The language of my Windows Mobile 6 is in french. But i want to display weather of "Lausanne" in Switzerland (100C)
You say : if your rom isn't wwe --> How can i see if my rom is wwe ?
Thanks a lot for your answers

Here my blog with tuto of installation (in french) : http://celogeek.free.fr/2008/08/celogeek-tf3d-custom-config/
It should now work anytime on any rom because I have add a autocreating key on cab installer
New version 20080813 available
Up for new version !
its working on all lang roms ?
I hope so
I have test it on this rom :
Diamond Project 3.2
Swift BL 5.6
beLite v0.97, v0.98
The last version should work better because I have set more global option on powersaving.
I hope TF3D continue to work after (they crash if they don't found a key)
Just try it, they only add option to tf3d custom config tools
If tf3d won't start after that, just remove it and tell me, I will try to investigate
well i installed .. looks like its working fine .. i will test it a bit
Greek original rom 1.93
Testing this now, thanks!
I have used your tutorial to flash my device a couple of days ago and all went smooth!
Works 100% @ swedish 1.93 stock rom Thanks! Great addon!
Thanks ! Hope can help !
300 french people come per day on my blog actually ! Awesome !

I have same problem, I can see new tweaks.
At the begin I install cab to internal memory and after TF3D Config start fails. Now I have install in main memory and TF3D Config start but not ant new tweaks in gray appear...
"I have same problem, I can see new tweaks." => same prob but you can see new tweaks ? you can or you can't ???
ok
If you install TF3D after my cab, it's normal that you don't see anythink, because it remove is directory and redo the install .. so lose my tweak
Ok,
uninstall my cab
uninstall TF3D
install again TF3D
install my cab
if TF3D crash is because some trick on my cab aren't available for your phone.
Could you please give me the ROM version and the phone you use ?

after that, did TF3D run properly or crash ?
could you go in Tweak and go at the bottom of the list.
Did the list change from white background to grey background ?
ok, just check this
Open Explorer,
Go in My Device/Program Files/Diamond TF3D Config
Did you see tweaks_custom file ?
Great thanx dude

I need some help...
- Have installed TF3D Config. Working fine. "Internal memory".
- Have installed celogeek_tweak. "Internal memory" as well.
But no new tweaks appear in TF3D Config?
I have checked:
In My Device/Program Files/Diamond TF3D Config
I see two things: Diamond TF3D config program file & "tweaks" (3.28K) file.
But i dont see "tweaks_custom" file...
It's strange ...
Could you try the older version ? same problem ?
I will push the tweaks_custom file for people who can't install the cab file
Same problem with the older version of "celogeek".
I have found the "tweak_custom" file in program files in internal storage; program files; diamond tf3d.
But tf3d files are in my device, program files... eventhough I have choosen to install them both in internal storage.
Have tried to uninstall and install to the internal storage again. - Same issue.
I don't really know why they don't work
By the way, look the first post, and try the manual solution
Hope they work now
No... does´nt work.
I get this error message
Ok I have read this site several times and have flashed my phone numerous times and I can say there are some damn good ROM's located on this site..However there are flaws to each one and that is why i am writing this..I do appreciate all of the hard work that goes into these roms for if you guys didnt do them then we would be stuck with the same ol tired looking phones..
For those of you that are new to this please pay attention to the posts for i have learned the hard way..I would like to know how to fix some of the errors that are in these roms because like I said befor each one is different..so far the one that i have found to be the best for most users is OTP v7.5.1 TouchFlo 2D Professional...this Rom seems to have it all together except one thing..the call volume is low and the ringtone volume is also low..besides that this is your winner in my eyes for a power user..
If anyone out there knows how to fix these errors please let me know for I am staying with this ROM until I find a better one...thank you for your time and I will be donating to the rightful developer...

I have been using this rom for a couple of weeks now and I have just discovered once I reflashed it I have seemed to fix the only error that was found...
here is a posting that will give some info and hopefully answer alot of your current questions..
Default FAQ
FAQ Section:
Read everything in this section before downloading the roms and flashing.
If you don't understand it, read it again and again until you understand.
Once your done flashing your device double check back here again to configure your device.
I will not reply to any subjects already covered in this section.
I'm not trying to be rude, I'm just very busy with finishing up this project and also working on other projects.
Back up your phone before downloading and flashing this rom... I do not want anybody to loose their data due to flashing this rom, as the rom will erase all of your data...
How To Flash Rom
HERALD-USPL-beta3 - posted by tiksister - rapidshare
How-To Flash the HERALD-USPL-beta3:
Download and extract both files.
Place the extracted OTP v7.1.nbh into the Herald-uspl-beta3/RUU folder.
Move the entire Herald-uspl-beta3 folder to the root of the c:\.
Follow the simple readme file.
Break down of how to flash this rom:
Then follow these steps:
II. How do I flash an NBH file?
a. USPL
Step 1. Download Herald-USPL-Beta3. http://www.megaupload.com/?d=A4N36HLO
Step 2. UnZIP the file into a folder on your Desktop. Let's call it "MyFirstROM" for simplicity's sake. Notice that there is a folder called RUU within this folder now. Keep that in mind.
Step 3. Download your NBH file and unZIP or unRAR it into that RUU folder. Make sure that that NBH file ends up in the RUU folder, not within a folder inside the RUU folder.
Step 4. Place your phone into flightmode.
Step 5. Go back to the MyFirstROM folder and then run USPL.exe
Step 6. Follow the directions on the screen. EXACTLY.
* Your screen on your cell phone will go white around the 75% part of the "second step" now.
* ActiveSync will LOOSE its connection.
Step 7. One step 3 on that black window, the RUU flasher will pop up. Just follow the steps.
That's it. Welcome to the flasher's world.

M2DC
Just tried the M2DC theme manager on 7.3 Std, with a renamed .zip file to .m2dct file (specifically the KnobiSkin from the M2D skin thread).
First time, it locked up. M2DC continued with spinning icon until I forced a reboot. Touchflo was off after reboot, and after enabling it everything appeared to be the same.
Second attempt, I disabled Touchflo from today before applying the new theme. Got the "Applying Theme" prompt. After M2DC closed, I reactivated touchflow and new theme was applied.
Simple instruction for use of M2DC Themes on OTP 7.3:
Find a skin you like, download the zip file (not the cab),
Rename file to .m2dct,
Copy new file to the themes directory of the M2DC install directory,
Disable touchflo in Today settings
Start M2DC,
Go to themes tab (the first time it will back up the default theme),
Click the new theme then apply,
Restart touchflo.
Alternate for creating themes from skin CABs:
Run M2DC first, let it make the DefaultThemeBackup.m2dct file, Close M2DC.
Run the CAB skin of choice.
Rename DefaultThemeBackup.m2dct to OriginalTheme.m2dct (or anything else with same extension).
Rerun M2DC. It will detect no DefaultThemeBackup.m2dct and will ask to back up again. Let it make new backup. Close M2DC.
Rename new file to the name of the new theme.
Repeat for each skin CAB you wish to convert to m2dc theme file.
Note: The M2DCT files can be large (over 3Mb, 660 files backed up). Best to do this only if M2DC is installed on a large Storage card.
Note 2: Several times M2DC appeared to freeze when applying or backing up themes. It looks like it has problems if touchflo is not off prior to running. It does try to deactivate touchFlo then reactivate when done, but it doesn't appear to work flawlessly yet. It is better to deactivate the Today plugin before running M2DC on this ROM build.

thanks to all of the developers and cooks on XDA for without you guys none of this would be possible
What this does is speed up your tab. Its crazy how well zepplinrox got this to work, but it makes the tablet fly. It doesnt require more battery, nor stress the hardware any. It alters and fixes the OOM groupings, lowmemorykiller and the priorites. I don't want to get into the nitty gritty, but do it and I'm sure you will be amazed!
If you do not have the init.d folder, then you need to load a custom rom. Some custom roms will have this folder. Read on page two, zepplinrox explains it more.
Here is the process to get the supercharger to work and stick on out tabs. Its all spelled out on the original post ( by zepplinrox ) , but this is the short and sweet version.
You need to be rooted and have busybox 1.18.2 or lower.
First off go here and download the script : www.mediafire.com/?w6682pwu52ty5o6
Then download this app : https://market.android.com/details?id=os.tools.scriptmanager&feature=search_result
1. Then you run the script manager and find the V6 script that we first downloaded.
2. When you click on the script, the manager will open,( Make sure the run as root box is ticked under the "run" button ) just hit run in the top left of the screen.
3. Then, you have to just click in the black anywhere and the keyboard will open. Select a number 1, 2, or 3 , this is how fast the text will scroll. Being the screen is so big, select number 1. You will be fine. Hit enter on the keyboard, then lower the keyboard away.
4. You can now see a lot of options, don't get nervous. The script does it all itself. Being that we have so much ram already, the minfrees are already huge, but can be bigger . So options 1 - 7 are smaller than the stock minfrees. You can use either setting 8 or 9. I'm using the setting number 9. So to select the minfrees you want ( either number 8 or 9 ), click on the screen to bring up the keybpard, and hit the number you want ( again 8 or 9 only )!
5. Once that is done you will see the script run some info in front of you. It will say to reboot but don't yet. Type the number 17 in, and you will see it say bye etc. Ok, once it says bye, hit the back soft key in our launcher. Now navigate to this on the screen that in front of you. Keep hitting back until you get to the ''/'' of the tablet. Rom there you will click on ''system'', then click on ''etc'' and lastly on '' init.d '' . In there you will see a file called '' 99SuperCharger'' . Click on that and the script manager will open again, but you need to select certain boxes this time before hitting run. When the screen comes up hit '' run as root '' and '' run on boot ''' and hit save. Once that is done hit run ( nothing happens here, so don't expect to see anything scrolling) , then back out using the back arrow in our launcher. Then reboot your tablet, and that's it. The custom minfrees now stuck, and your supercharged!
Thanks to zepplinrox for this script!
P.s. to find out of the script stuck, reload the FIRST V6 script. Select your speed like we did, then once it is all loaded up you will see a line in there that says prior mifrees ( prior is still your current ) . Just match that up with the number you selected at first.
Thats it.
Here is the op on supercharging, from zepplinrox forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=991276

so what does this do exactly?
In a nutshell, its a memory manager.
It will speed up your phone, multiasking etc. Its kinda crazy how well it works, and does not require more battery life like overclocking does. What it does it rearrange the OOM groupings, lowmemorykiller and priorties.

cool thanks for the quick reply, can this be used in conjunction with a Task's ROM and pershoot's kernel?
I think I'll wait for others to test this out first seems too good to be true

Samsung Adrenaline Shot
This has been developed for some days and I am using on my Captivate, it's amazingly fast. I know some files are HC based but written for GB, maybe someone take a look and see if it will work?

I use SAS, not USAS as it is just a script.
I've been using it for a while on my evo and the same with the tablet. All works well.

I'll follow this thread closely. It always amaze me how a small group of people working together can achieve things beyond what Google themself can achieve with their OS.
Im getting permission denied during the last step (run as boot etc.)
Any ideas? My tab is deffo rooted as other apps that require root work fine.
Cheers!
I haven't got the init.d? What's wrong? I'm using broadcom KH7.
Here is a screen shot.
same for me, i dont get the init.d folder. I saw many permission denied lines in the script, so i run the script again with root. It doesnt help and i restart my Tab... and now i am in a bootloop. So i restore my backup, but can someone tell me what i do wrong?
Thx in advance
Flash
Edit: same for me, like klass1 , i use the Broadcomb stock too

I also have the same problem, running stock rom.
Is root required?
Hey sorry guys, I'm out of the house. But yeah root required, I think. But not 100% sure as I have always been rooted. And as far as not seeing the init.d folder.. are you fellas all the way back to the '/' in the script manager? Go system, etc, init.d and the 99SuperCharger should be there. In sure why you can't see back that far. Are all or you guys rooted that are having issues? The ron type doesn't matter, as these folders are universal on all roms.
Also I too received some denied lines, but all is working as should. So that shouldn't be an issue.

Yes, I am all the way back at / going to /system/etc and I could NOT find the init.d folder after running the script. I am rooted and using the Broodcomb ROM for GT-P7500. I have the same problem the other guys have. Help please!
i didnt have it either, the init.d folder, so i ran a kernel tweak from the creator of V6 scrpit and that created a init.d folder for me then i ran the script again and there it was the 99Suercharger file. So i think you can just create the folder your self, no need to run the kernel tweak, just ad new folder to system/etc called init.d that should fix it for thoose that dont have it created by the script.
And did you noticed a good speed improvment?

How do you create a folder?
Hi there!
I want to disable the backlights of the softkeys, without installing an ad-filled apk.
I have installed Slimrom 4.3 from maclaw.pl and the setting to turn backlight off is invisible.
If you go with an rooted file explorer to /sys/class/leds/brightness and switch the value to 0, the backlight immediately turns off.
But if u restart the phone the value is changed everytime to 1 and the Backlight is back on.
So i thought i could write a script, that do this job for me., everytime i start my phome. The script is in the attachments.
Can anyone check if the script is okay? I dont want to brick my phone
And Do you know where the autostart folder for android devices is (like in windows), ive read something about kernel init or something.
And if i want to make a flashable zip out of this script, How to make it? because i dont want everytime i flash an update to work in the system.
Thanks for your time
Go to system settings-buttons-backlight & disable it. If that option it's not present on slim, simply download this. Don't mess with any system file cause this ain't a xperia phone:laugh:
Thanks, but my device is not listed under supported devices in this app and i dont want to keep a 3rd party app running that increases the battery drain and takes ram away. i prefer a little script at system start.
And no the option is not listed in the settings.

FYI, I'm using bln app & doesn't drain my bat nor ram (on cm11). Have a nice day
Okay i found that folder it is localized in /system/etc/init.d
I copied the file to there and it is workimg, on every restart the buttons keeps off.
But how to make a flashable zip with that file? is it enough to create a zip with the folder system and its contents are only th underfolder and the file?

I asume it works on all maclaw roms (cm11) too, right!? Can I add it to my FAQ here. Of course I'll give you the proper credits on the special thanks section.
Here we go.
One zip to disable them and one to undo the patch.
thanks for your time

Don't think so is good script, because when you got a notification than BLN turn on lights again and will be stay it on to second boot.
sorry my very first try.
i will look on my device, if this happens to me too
The only problem i had was with whatsapp, if u get a message there, the light keeps on till restart.
But in settings - notifications - lights in whatsapp u can turn off the notification lights and then the problem is solved. ( standard is white )
Tahnk you polishwodka
