ive read through the below wiki to try and convert nb file to bin so i could use it on the wm 6.1 emulator. but i just get a message tht the file is invalid...

I am trying to flash my rom from Asia to Qtek. I have read that i need to convert the exe to usable form. I have been reading the wiki but, just cant seem to be able to do so.
just extract the exe file with a zip program

.exe file btw, when i run the baupgrade.exe, it says device data error. i have edited my editfix.bat. When i run the .exe file direct, it says country id error.
i also used the new type I tools still, no luck
Whats meant by "convert the exe to usable form", is the exe file you download, well the upgrade exe file
I-Mate_PDA2k_French_14002_167_11200.exe this you can extract with zip.
If you download a TypeII rom, you should be able to use the MaUpgradeUt_noID file descriped here
If you download a TypeI rom, then use the xda3nbftool.exe to modify the rom to match your devicedata.exe.
Note that you must have the correct Rom password to get correct out come using xda3nbftool.exe.

I have downloaded a T-Mobile Dutch Shipped Rom. It is a .bin file.
How can I upgrade my Qtek 9100 with this .bin file?
I tried some copy and paste work, but nothing works!

where did you find it? I am desperately searching for this file.
I have it but it is not that like the other ROMS on the ftp, which upgrade automatically your MDA.

I just checked the file and it seems that its NOT a .bin file as cd image file.
Tried to burn it without luck and MagicISO gives an error its not a CD image file.
It's not a .Bin/.Cue file, it's a simple dump of the rom and has to be installed on your Wizard and not be burned on a cd.
does anyone know how to use and splashscreen nbh file i tried using custom kaiser rru or something and it says invalid

simple, find a photo, change its size to 240x320 pix save it as bmp file, load that file into nb_image_converter and convert it to a .nb file, open the splash tool and convert the .nb file that you just made into an .nbh, put that .nbh file into a folder with custom ruu. Run custom ruu and it will store the image onto your device as a splash screen.

i search for 2 hours and cannot find a way to got my original os.nb files. i like to make a rom of my original firmware bevor i flash the phone with another version.
please help me in this case or is not importend what file i take for os.nb?
if i start the KovskyKitchen there is only standing i need the part1 and 2 and one nb file, but the script like to copy files and this does not exist. in the ervius package tool+buildos you can not open the folder, without this files.
please give ma a hint.

Solution: use any rom image from here for got the missing os.nb and rename it to RUU_Signed.nbh. it must only a complete nbh - rom.

but my searching has failed in successfully giving me an answer.
in my searching i have found these programs...

i was successfully able to convert the .nbh to a .nb
but cant seem to convert the .nb to a .bin
BinTools. requires the 'offset' and 'partbytes' to convert .nb to .bin. i couldnt find what those were for the Rhodium. only for the Typhoon.
ImgfsTools. will create a imgfs.bin but it is empty, 0 KB.
NBHextract. will successfully create a .nb from a .nbh.
nbImageTool. i cant seem to get to work. just gives me 'error 5'.
xidump. will dump the .nbh. but not into a .bin.
so. my question.
how can i successfully convert a .nbh to a .bin for use with WM 6.5 Pro Emulator?
