Hard SPL???

Hello all
I'm curious because I maybe want to do this. Yeah im talking about HARD SPL.
Now...the big problem..
What the hell is it
1. What does it do?
2. What do i need to do it?
3. Does it matter what kind of WM6 Build I have??
4. What is IPL, SPL (how can i check it)
My specs:
HTC p4350 NL (herald)
WM6 5.2.1238 (Build 17745.02.3)
WLM V 10.6.0033.0600 (Running Very Stable with no sync problems at all )
I all ready did:
- Page tool 4MB
- Overclocked to 299Mhz (Running Stable) With Battery Status
What I want:
- Do the HARD SPL thing. Because I heard that it cleans up your WM6????
- I want the Touch-IT v4.0 for p4350
Can anyone help me with this??

I solved this one myself man And i allready did it all.
Here is a "i think" good one:
HardSPL = A Custom Windows Mobile Rom with some tweaks so that you can do stuff with your PPC
You really should check the TOP Topic in this Forum...That works...
RUU = the Update .exe file. That is de installer dat is going to Flash your PPC
So make sure that the Battery is at minimum 50% and that Active sync is connected Stable and that the Auto standby Energie mode is turned off.

Think of it as a hacked BIOS that lets you install a hacked version of windows.

When your phone is HARD SLPed, means you can install any rom for that phone on it.
Remeber! Hard spl is just unlocking your phone to install other roms, but it will not sim unlock your phone!

it a form of a cid unlock trust me i had the same question and didn't want to sound like a noob

but u can install a rom that is sim unlock option is avaiable

HTC 8925

I have an HTC 8925 and wanted to try your simunlocker. How do I check the version of the Windows Mobile? I am not sure if it is 6 or 6.01? Will the software work for any version?
Also, when I tried the HardSPL on my phone it shows "SPL-1.93.0000 instead of "SPL-1.0 Olipof" as you indicated on the instruction.
Will this work to unlock my phone or should I not even try it?

Read the Wiki

Personally - I would recommend that you NOT start out flasing your ROM. It sounds fun - until you brick your phone. From your questions I would say that you are not yet ready to be doing this and you are in for a hard road shortly. Remember GSLEON3 and as you are gong down for the last count - pray that you see his moniker with your dying breath!

Need help Htc Tytn II

I have a queston
I have a vodafone v1615
To unlock my TYTN II i have to use the kaiser sim unlocker v0.1
In the instrutions i read that i have to instal the hardSPL- 1.0 OLipof then this will workt what to do fist run the kaiser-HardSPLv1 then install a new rom and then run the sim unlocker
can anyone help me please i have been reading so much stuff in dont understand it anymore what do i have to do first and what programs do i have to use

I personally would have ask this question in one of the three threads you read about this process in.
Let me reinterate the most important point that seems to be overlooked a lot. No offense meant to the OP.
YOU MUST HAVE HARDSPL INSTALLED FIRST TO DO ANY FLASHING OR UNLOCKING!
I would personally say Do It in that order. HardSPL, ROM, Then SIMUnlock.

I have windows vista on my pc is that oke for al these programs or do i have to do this all in windows xp

That is part of the fun. Also, Just don't pull out your USB cable. Unless everything is complete. Unless instructed otherwise

hahaha thanx i will read the instructions if not then it will become a brick for my house, thanx man hopefull its runs on vista as well i heard and have been reading xp its better to do all of this what do you think about this

I've only ever done it on XP. Though Vista is picky about some things so make sure you are logged in as Administrator. I've heard others have had luck.

hello: iam trying to unlock my phone so i can update the sotware to windows mobile 6 can anybody help me with this ?

Ok. Several things: 1) If you have the default T-mobile ROM on your Wing, you already have Windows Mobile 6.1. 2) If you post the same question in multiple subforums, you are very likely to be ignored. 3) If you only wish to CID unlock the phone, then all you have to do is flash any other ROM found on this forum. Be sure to search in there for "How to Flash" before opening another thread asking for help. Thanks!

Alright. If you bought this phone directly from T-mobile US, then you do already have Windows Mobile 6.1. Also, to check for sure which version you have, you can go to Start->Settings->System->About. It will display what version of Windows Mobile you have.

I suggest you start with the wiki. Since you keep asking to 'unlock' your phone to be able to flash a new ROM i'm going to guess that you don't know what your doing. Make sure to read up on what is required to flash a new ROM. @elazullizard, unless something has changed, the Wing DOES NOT come stock with 6.1, it comes with 6. Now like I say, that may have changed, but I just bought a brand new in the box Wing manufactured in November 2008, and it booted into stock plain jane T-mobile 6. So yeah, this guy does indeed need to CID unlock and upgrade to 6.1 or 6.5.

Yes, first of all soft-reset your device using the little hole on the left hand side of it, as soon as you press the little button in the hole, press and hold down the camera button until the 3 color bootloader screen is displayed...confirm that your IPL/SPL is above 4 and reply back to me with the exact number and we can get you started from there.

I use T-Mobile Wing. 2007 manufacture.
Can u help me to upgrade it. It uses Windows Mobile v6.0. I wanted to change it to Window Mobile v6.1 or v6.5.
I use it with another sim card. Not T-Mobile. But it is working properly.
How can I do this?

There are plenty of posts that teach you how to flash custom ROMs. If you don't know where to start try searching for "how to hard SPL." You can flash custom ROMs without having your phone hard spl'ed by using USPL. If you decide not to use hard spl there is a great change that you will brick your phone and will no longer be able to use it again. After all you have to do is search for a flashcenter or use mine http://mywing.info/dl/Flascenter.rar . As for you GPS question, there are plenty of gps programs out there. You just need to buy either an external bluetooth gps receiver or a USB gps receiver. pair it with your phone and your done.

ya I found the instructions and read them over good. it seems simple but when i installed the files it said, Kaiser hard spl, and went thru the process i ended up with nothing. my phone is the same as it was with wm6.1 . only thing changed is radio. what should i do to get the 6.5 rom installed?

You need to hardspl your device before you flash to a ny rom (in this case 6.5). Hardspl and rom flashing are different processes.
Please take your time to read. This thread will be closed.
