My HTC Touch Dual only plays mp3 in mono with the shipped Headset

just get a stereo bluetooth headset and you will be fine, did the same thing when i had my htc juno, it is just a dongle thing

Morning All !!
Currently i have the HTC fuze (AT&T) aka Diamond. I just purchase the sony bluetooth headset DR-BT160AS. I have tried everyway possible i can think of to get more sound out of these headphones. It sound like im listening to music threw a bottle next door in MONO. I tryed adjusting the preset ( audio booster) with the help of tweaksdiamond. Nothing but here the knock why is it when i have the audio adapter plug into the phone i can get great sound and adjust the presets, But threw the bluetooth i get mono sound with no adjustments. Its pairs wirless headset, hands free, it work the fucntions of changing the track and adjusting volume and i can recive calls.... but with poor sound.

Has anyone had this issue using wirless bluetooth stereo headsets w/a2dp enabled.

I have a pair of Sony DR-BT140Q and they work/sound really great every time. They're not the same kind, but maybe yours are defective?
Try pairing it with a laptop or any other device to see if you get the same results

Any suggestions for stereo bluetooth headsets that are good for music streaming and calling for the g1 rite now? If you do, please let me know i wanna buy a good pair of stereo bluetooth headphones. I'm currently keeping an eye on the Motorola S9 HD stereo bluetooth, the one that can connect to ipod touch 2g's bluetooth and also other phones too. If anyone has the S9 HD and is currently working with the g1 rooted roms lemme know PLZ and THANK YOU.

A lot of weeks I have a problem, where I can't find an answer for.
A few weeks ago I bought the Sennheiser MM200 Bluetooth stereo headset. This set has an great sound quality, so I'm very happy with this headset.
I hoped that it would be possible to uses this Sennheiser headset in combination with the radio on my HTC TD. But unfortunately I haven't find an answer yet, or it's possible or not to listening radio with a Bluetooth headset on the HTC TD.
So is there anyone knows there is a workaround to let work the radio with a Bluetooth headset?

I have been trying to find out how to do just this.
I ride a motorbike, and have a bluetooth crash helmet with buit in speakers / mike which works a treat for answering and making calls and indeed listening to TomTom navigation instructions from my HTC Topaz.
However, I have yet found a solution to allow me to listen to the radio via bluetooth. As you have also discovered, the headset acts as an antena but then diconects the sound from the bluetooth headset when connected. I figure that there must be a way to program the phone to use the blutooth headset as the default "speaker" and the plug in headset as only the antena.
I will repost this thread in the Topaz forum too to see if anyone has a solution.
One partial solution that I have discovered is streaming radio via an internet connection. This works, although the connection stream is not always the best and of course there is a data "overhead charge" involved.

no it's not possible to have both a wired headset connected an a bluetooth
even if the wires headset is only acting as antenna

Hi guys
I have a problem with my Bluetooth car-radio Sony BT3700.
I can pair my HD2 with the radio but when i use A2DP to play music from
my HD2 in the car the sound qualitiy is very lousy. I always hear interferences in the sound. I dont know why with other phones it works just fine.
How can i increas sound quality of A2DP

My HTC HD2 Bluetooth didn't see my Sony MEX-BT 2750 car-audio device as "XPLOD" as manual says.. when i search for it.. nothing.. any ideas? Cheers.

I've just bought a new common Jabra blutooth and it works well on call, but I really want to know if there is a way to play music via my blutooth. I found that iPhone is able to play music via blutooth by jailbreaking, but I just can't get any helps from google and etc...

which model of Jabra did you buy?
only the Stereo version of Jabra will support A2DP and AVRP from Bluetooth to play audio, and remote control

It's BT125 sth...not sure, but it's cheap though. Anyway, I believe it can be used to play music
ya that headset doesn't support a2dp so i don't think its going to work.
I've got the Jabra BT620s - had them for a few years now, works great on the SGS, it supports A2DP & AVRP, when a call come in the phone pauses the music and the headphones switch to headset mode (ie phone mode).
Now the HTC had issues, some ROM worked Stereo, some worked headset, but I never had one which did both
