Hopefully I havent overlooked this and wasted someones time, please enlighten me if possible. Thanks
That's about as vague as you can be. What customizing specifically? Do themes and UIs work? Most of them. Do applications work? Most of them. Did you bother perusing the forum to see for yourself? Not likely.
thanks illusion, I appreciate your response. Let me explain myself better. Is there a WM6.1 Customizer program like the one for WM6.0 that allows you to change backgrounds, displays, clocks, layout of the today screen, etc? Does the one for WM6.0 still work for the WM6.1?
Yes, I have looked at the forums before hand and didn't locate anything. So my last effort was to post on here and see if anybody had any positive information.
Hopefully I have explained myself a little clearer
Most of the stuff works. All of the .tsk files I've used work. HTC home customizer worked well before I changed to the manilla 2d setup. It's just a minor tweak in the OS for the most part.
sounds good, Ill try it out. Sorry for the vagueness beforehand

im sure it has been asked many a times so if anyone can point me to a link of what i am looking for, it'd be appreciated. i installed slither's cube v1-62 i belive. not the c++ version. i want to change icons and colors if possible. i've searched and just ended up reading pointless threads for liek the past hour. a link would be nice. if anyone has the zip or cab file of the actual program i am looking for, that'd be even better. thanks.
hey guy newbie here. will like to know what i need to be able to ne need customize my today screen and also landscape. dont bash me. new at this HTC WM thing. PLEASE HELP QUICK!!!!!!!
????
Read the WIKI......Lota of info for you in there.....or do a search with any Question you have.....
Peace
Mike
The best place to start you off would be the Raphael wiki. Read up. Also visit the Raphael forum for tips and tricks/tweaks.
Happy Learning!
Ok thanks for that link but i already looked at that. not really tell me what programs to look for. Unless im over looking
I'd love to help you....but your request is really broad. Try to narrow it down a little...like applications that can perform specific tasks. The amount of customization you can do to a WM device is almost limitless. If you don't have any in mind right now...look around....check some forums out online. I'm sure you'll come across applications that would make you go...'hmmm....I'd like to have that' That's where xda devs comes in

what kind of customization are u looking for? Are u trying to get a completly new theme? Remove some tabs from the touch flo? You need to be more specific about about what you would like to customize. Like what are you exactly looking to do?
for now i would like to know how to redu a whole new theme
Get diamond tf3d config. Browse the diamond forums for themes. Install them via diamond tf3d config if it's a file that ends in .theme. Some of them will be cabs, which you just install. On my phone, I installed a .theme file, then a cab to change the clock, and then a cab to hide the top curtain... all of which I found in the diamond forums. Lot's of good information for customizing in the diamond forums. Anything else specific you want to customize, just do a search.
ok i got Diamond TF3D Config. working. But what do i do from here. It has no themes.
So, I searched around here, and couldn't find any information on this...
Anyway, I don't like the TouchFlo very much... There's just too much going on at once. I prefer the good old HTC Home... But, when I install the version I have, it doesn't work.
Now I've read on a couple other sites that I might need the VGA version, can anyone confirm this, and if they can, where can I find a copy?
Thanks in advance!
Make sure you disable TouchFLO, and go here.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=351553
I just for fun tried that HTC VGA above, and it didn't work too well. Search for HTC home2 and it'll look good on the fuze. That's what I use. HHC works with it, also, although the examples are small.
Edit: finally figured KD8NS' post out above--You don't have to disable touchflo, like just posted, it's TouchFloF3D that you need to disable. Better yet, just use Da_G's ROM, and TF3D won't be there at all!!!
could you link to the file pls?
Fuze Full Qwerty virtual keyboard stuck on numbers
I've installed the NATF's v2.3 rom on my HTC fuze and now my full qwerty virtual keyboard is stuck on numbers. I've tried tapping the ABC button but nothing happens. Does anyone know a fix for this. I've heard there is a cab fix but I'm unable to find that specific cab file
Wrong palce to ask but here you go.

Hi everybody, I recently got a Diamond2 and found that the enormous amount of expertise and help available at xda-developers have really helped me enjoy this phone. The phone is not locally supported by any carriers or retailers in Canada so the availability of these forums have been a real help. I've run through most of the issues I've had with the phone (really like the Pro2 Interface better but was way to bulky) but have a few remaining that I haven't been able to find satisfactory answers for, hope you guys will be able to help.
I've downloaded and played around with what seem to be most of the prerequisite softwares: Advanced Config Tool, Klaxon, Changescreen etc. and have also made a couple of registry modifications to enable TF3D rotation and things like that. Here is where I'm getting into a bit of trouble. Although changescreen is a great app I just don't like to install a lot of things on my device and decided to try the regedit. After a soft reset it seemed to work great but was quite slow in switching over to landscape and back. At first I though this was a problem with the g-sensor so I opened up Opera to try it out and found that it was much faster. Obviously it's a lot less graphically intense but I was playing around with a Touch Pro2 before I bought the Diamond2 and it is also significantly faster, with the same processor and everything. I've tried to reduce the sampling time for the g-sensor down from 200ms to 100ms in ACT but that didn't really seem to help. Also I get some really weird lines across the tops of TF3D pages in landscape; in the All Contacts page for example the bar that contains "Search Contacts" will have at least three sets of distorted lines across it at regular intervals across the page. The wallpaper also seems to malfunction as instead of staying as it was, it will stretch across the width of the screen and as a result become extremely distorted. The dialer doesn't go into landscape but that seems to be a common issue. I've downloaded the Rhodium Phone Dialer although I haven't had a chance to install it yet, maybe that will fix the dialer issue.
I do have some app installed that changes the background of all tabs to be the same and this seems to have messed with the transparency of the tab bar and, occasionally the phone will fail to respond to screen swipes that would usually cycle through the tabs without using the tab bar. Maybe this app is also causing the other problems.
The help on these forums has already been a great asset and I was just hoping that I would be able to get some simple fixes for the issues with the landscape thing without having to install more software. Thanks in advance for any help, its all appreciated. Cheers.
PS, rom is 1.39.421.0 (47382) WWE
what you can do to improve things:
1. ditch stock rom and use tess rom
2. install flipit for rotation software - its better than the rest IMO
Thanks for the quick reply
Thanks for the quick reply, sorry I wasn't able to reply right away, got a bit busy at uni.
I was a bit apprehensive about installing a new rom but the one you recommended is amazing. The speed increase alone is unbelievable, doesn't even feel like the same device.
Everything is working great and the rotation is really fast now on everything except TF3D. It almost looks like it attempts to rotate and then fails. The title bars rotate around and then rotate back. I've added the regedit, manually removed and added it back into flip_it, but nothing seems to be working. Aside from that everything else seems perfect. Hope you'll be able to help, and once again, thanks.
oh yeah.. forgot to mention about manila in landscape
go to search and look for At0mAng & Danny_and_2 TF3D2 Tweak cab for topaz
install, and in the list of programs, there is option called Manila Rotate ON.
and thats it, you are all set...
hope this helps

Can I ask where to read and get this rom?
I am also new to Topaz.
Running on stock ROM
been reading around. reading on the various rom threads to decide which to use.
I am looking for something stable, fast (aren't we all?) and 6.1. Still got Manila and hopefully with Titanium built in. Also if possible with ringtones removed.
What would you recommend?
Thanks

Almost there
Thanks for the tip about the tweak program, installed it and followed your directions, manila is now rotating. However, its still incredibly slow; in the range of 3-5 seconds for transition to landscape and then around 1-2 seconds back to portrait. Also, those distortive lines I described earlier are back.
I was hoping for the kind of speed seen here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MPVgN5QuzO4 but I do realize that its a different rom. I've disabled and enabled TF3D and also done a soft reset, but no speed increase. I was thinking it may be a hardware issue but everything else works fine. One thing I have noticed though is that since installing this rom some programs get stuck half rotated and the other half of the screen will display the TF3D home page. Once again, thanks for all the help so far.
P.S. If I disable TF3D the blank today screen will rotate at the same speed as in that video if not faster. Also before when the menus rotated but not TF3D they were rotating at the same fast speed.
yes, I know what you mean.. at this stage, manila rotates pretty slow for me too...
I guess at the moment, we have to live with it... the slow rotation only happens on tf3d2 rite? the rest is ok...
as with hardware issue, I am sure it is not, cause topaz is still relatively new...
btw, Manila 2.1 is around, and manila 2.5 is coming too... so, maybe they would give better performance .
btw, the youtube link is a rom made by Tom Condon, and as you probably know, he is very active in building rom for topaz too... why dont you give him a message, or try his rom...
Tha
sorry double post again..
Sounds good
Glad to know that it wasn't just a one off issue. I'll give his rom a shot, was kind of wary b/c of the comments that said WM 6.5 was slow. Would you be able to direct me to somewhere that I'd be able to download TF3D 2.1 alone without a rom upgrade or anything or maybe even cooked into the TESS rom. Thanks for the incredible quick reply and for all the help so far.

if you follow tess forum, then the next release would have manila 2.1
Thanks
Ye, sorry about that didn't quite follow the forum all the way, I guess I'll be waiting. Thanks man.
Hi guys,
Firstly, I'd like to apologise ahead if i'm posting this in the wrong section.
I have tried looking for these, and others I'm not sure what they're called etc.
Basically, having messed about with some ROMS, and some failing, I've gone back to the HTC stock rom.
Since going onto this, I'm wanting to get a few cool things for it.
Is there anywhere I can get Nitrogen from? Its a nice little music player.
How do I get my phone to have the clock as the flipover "digital" clock, where the numbers fall from the top? - Is this a theme?
Also, I wouldn't mind getting a decent audioboosting program for when I'm on the bus / train for work, as all I can hear is people talking and the noise of the vehicle.
How do I get the Device Updater? The one where it finds applications for your phone, which are pretty cool?
Once again, apologies if this is in the wrong place, but since this is the software section, i thought it justified my posting.
Thank you,
Edited: Since the phone rebooted with the ROM finally installed, i've just found that Windows Live is on.
All can be found via the serach
Except flip clock as is part of TF3D, there are some other homescreen plugins with it like PointUI.
Thanks,
I did have a good look, but I only know what they do, not the actual names.
How do I get TF3D installed? I'd love to have that flip clock back! For some reason, I just love it!
I've just found a pack I downloaded the other day, but the TF3D is showing as Diamond TF3D Config on my Kaiser.
Any ideas where I would find the TF3D for the Kaiser?

our kaisers don't have the necessary drivers to support the 3D animations of TF3D, like the flipping clock. the best thing we can run on them is Manila 2D (TF2D)

Does anyone have a link for this?
