How can I customize/change the buttons in the HTC Home Plugin? I want to change the small buttons that call the battery screen, the backlight settings to the programs that I call/use most.
Also is there a way to make the weather channel update information using Wifi Only? I don't have a unlimited plan for my 3G downloads and I want the weather information to come only by wifi.

Hello, is it possible to have some sort of shortcut program such as cLaunch(er) as an item within the HTC Home launcher tab? If so, then we could just go to the launcher tab and open up the secondary launcher. Just a thought, although I have no idea if this is possible or not.

Its not that zeezee,
He is asking about soft keys i think, cause default its Contacts and Calendar
About question:
You must find a software that can change soft keys in your home. Do some research here on google.
Cheers,
Chris
Ah ok "soft keys". No wonder I couldn't find it. I was searching "remove contacts calendar wm6.0" in google.
Thanks. Will give "soft keys" a search.

These will work if you want to change what the keys do. However if you want to get rid of that bar completely, try this:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=2318991&postcount=4
Install and soft reset. The bar will be gone on the Today screen only.
Tested and working for Kaiser.
EDIT: That frees up 25px of real estate on your Today screen... in case anybody was curious.
Is it just on my diamond, that in the dialer the left and right button does not work anymore?
Are there solutions to open the call list without using the menu?
Thanks!

call list=call history, see first screen of yr thflo, under the clock and over yr next appointment. i think this is one of the +es of the thflo, being able to see call history without opening the phone
thanks, but i'm missing it in the dialer (i dont use touch flo)
...is there a better dialer or some registry hack?

try a search in the xda-developers\development and hacking.
there are a lot of dialers with the history button on them. the problem is that i do not recall any of them working for VGA...
In the PHONE mode (Dialer) you have 'Contacts' on the left, and 'Menu' on the right.
If you look in the center, there is another Icon.
Tap on it.. and you have the call history

hi guys,
i'd like to know if there's a way to disable the vibrate when a call is connected?
bro logger told me that i could find a 'Advanced' tab where i should be able to disable the vibrate function when a call is being established under Menu > Options and then Advanced tab, but weird, for some reason, the Advance tab didn't show up, or it's hidden, hence i couldn't disable it
if anyone has any suggestion?
thanks

Did you disable the htc phone skin?
IF yes then you can't have "vibrate device when connection established
At least that's the case with me.
I disabled the htc skin but i sure miss this feature . In the
phone/settings/advanced, the "vibrate device when connection established" is ticked but nothing happens , unfortunately.
Also the sylus to notes isn't working but i don't care for that.

Hi LordRaj
i didn't disable the htc phone skin
and the problem i encountered is that i don't have the advance menu tab! d'oh!
it's simple yet it's almost impossible
may a registry tweak if anyone can help?
use the arrows at the end of the tab line...<> and move the tab line. the last tab is "advanced"
settings/personal/phone/advanced/vibrate device when connection is established.
btw, have you seen the other thread? yes, you did and posted there also...
I think this is a great feature - I dislike holding the phone to my ear waiting for someone to pick up...
BTW this setting I have never seen - my last tab is more

mine has it...
.......PIN2//Time Zones//More//Advanced
on advanced i have the options:
-reject call with message: (and a window where i can write what message i wish)
-add new phone number to contacts at end of call.
-vibrate device...(that's the one we are talking about)
-when a call is connecting, open the notes application when the stylus is pulled out.
some goodies here...strange u don't have it.

i know, but i use the phone heavily, i might just think, by disabling it, it may save the battery power, oh well .... but thanks i have found the answer through registry hack made by logger and now it has been disabled
btw, that's what happens to me too, my last tab is more, not advance like others have
hi kukuriku,

Is it just that you are not actually clicking the right arrow tab far enough? 'Advanced' is one more tab to the right of 'More'. It is a bit hidden 'til it comes into view. Just a thought ....... sorry if a bit simplistic
