Can I Upgrade Wm5.0 To Upcoming Wm 6.0

HELLO
i like to know whether i could upgrade my k-jam currently wm 5.0 to the upcoming wm 6.0 (crossbow).
my friend has wm 2003 and he too like's to upgrade to wm 5.0 or 6.0.
we are just afraid if we do it might turn into brick.
pls do help us.

Yesterday I've upgraded my dutch T-Mobile MDA Vario to WM 6.0, it's working really great!
Only issue I had was first CID-unlocking the device...

Very well said. We had to learn and find everything the hard way(well... it isn't really hard...), why shouldn't everyone else?

every rom i installed looks the same as 2005.

CID-unlock you're device and it will flash the OS too.

i want to buy a new O2 XDA MINI HTC wizard... so i need your some guide please...

If you follow the instructions and knowledge gathered and shared by people here then you'll have no problems at all.
You can use any GSM (Radio) version and any OS (official or cooked, WM5 or WM6)

You're welcome
Just be sure to read a LOT before starting anything and be certain of what generation your phone is and what condition it is in (CID/SIM locked or not). There are stickies and tools to do that...

Help to upgrade HTC P3600 to WM6

Any body can help me? I have an early HTC P3600 version and one month ago I upgraded the official ROM to activate the GPS function but it does not work properly. Now I’m trying to upgrade to WM6 with Faman_ES_4.02_Full_Trinity but always the error [270] is caused.
What can I do? Can some wise man/woman help me?

Need help - problem with WWE ROM

hi,
few days ago i bought HTC Diamond.
i want to switch the language of the OS from German to English!
i have tried to install few WEE rom versions but it doesn't work!
i also tried to install the official rom from HTC official site, but they don't let me download the wwe rom couse i have the newest version allredy...
please help me - i need the WWE ROM for HTC Diamond!!
i have OS 5.2.19591 (build 19591.1.1.6)
my spl version is 1.37.00

please read and search before opening up new threads
to begin with, the wiki will help u alot : http://wiki.xda-developers.com/
u cant flash your device because its CID locked.. so You should flash HardSpl first to CID Unlock it.

i allready tryed to use HardSPL but the wizard doesn't recognize the version of my HTC Diamond. do you know where i can find the latest version of HardSPL?
