Hi Guys I am new here and I need some help. I am in USA and I bought a Omnia from E-Bay everything was working fine until today when I plug my wall charger in I used before but most of the time I use the USB cable to charge the phone. Today I was used the wall charger and when I plug-it in the screen went black and from that time I try to reset but still death.
I am looking for some help from you guys or point me where to call for a replacement here in US no carrier has this phone now and I don't know what do do to get this back.

Hi everyone, i have a little problem with my cingular 8125. I am the second owner, so i might not be able to give every details. However, the problem is this: the first owner had wm5 english and decided to put on wm6 italian, so he tried but the wizard brickked. Now, the phone won't turn on, won't go in the bootlader (camera+ power) and won't charge if plugged in the USB. The battery was dead, i charged her but still nothing happens... the wizard act like dead. what can i do?

This is an "I think" answer.I had a similar problem .I got a new battery.I charged it fully,then I switched batteries charged using usb and wall plugin charger switching around until it worked and charged and wal laa .fixed.
Know I have two batteries one good and one not great but my wizard rocks

I'm freaking out.. for some reason my usb on my tilt wont chargewhen i plug it into the charger it still wont charge.. Only the red led will come on and im not really sure what to do.. i bought the phone off of ebay brand new like 3 weeks ago.. love the phone up until this point i have the pda corner ultimate Ultimate-X2 rom.. i just ordered a charger for the phone battery itself.. this may be the only solution.. was wondering if anyone else had any other thoughts or things that i should try

Borrow a working battery and test if it charges.
if it is just showing a red LED the i would also say its something with your battery.
I would also take look at the extUSB on the bottom of your tilt and make sure that none of the pins are misaligned or that its not cracked.
I purchased my tilt off ebay and broke the extUSB on the device, i took it into an AT&T device support center and got a replacement.
Does the red light go out at all? If not you may have the 'Red Light of Death'!

I had to cut apart a USB cable to force charge the battery for a few minutes and then I could get the phone to boot. For me, it turned out to be a problem with the Kaiser itself and I had to force charge the battery over 50% to reflash to make sure I could return to warranty condition.
Sometimes just a little boost to the battery is all that is needed.....

the only way i can charge is in BOOTLOADER MODE
which overheats my battery making me putting a fan infront of the phone
Plus its useless in bootloader mode so i am frequently changing the sims to diff. phones
tilt wont charge
My tilt wouldnt charge but it would connect to pc as well. I have ins on it so i took it in and they sent it for repair. they said they had to re-solder the usb connection. now works great.

Ins, Insurance that i have on it through my provider which is Hawk Electronics which is a third party cell service. The service is AT&T.
Hawk repair center fixed it. If you dont have ins through your provider the maybe you know someone thats knows how to solder something that small. or take it to a repair shop like best buy geek squad or something. hope that helps

I have this problem all the time. Ever since I started using 6.5 ROMs. Three of Abu's, and damn near all of TPC's gave my phone this problem. I tried some of Josh's and my wall charger started charging my phone again. I have six batteries and tried them all and two different wall chargers before I found out it was the ROM. Changing Hard SPL and radios didn't work. After I flash I test to see if it will charge. My phone just can't handle everything the chefs throw in there.
I have the same problem. my phone no charge any more than 30%, but the display indicate 100%. I have 3 new Batteries and i have the same finish.

i forgot my charger in the middle of nowhere.tried to charge it by a nokia n8 Usb cable.but recieved no reaction.after that, whatever charger i used, i got no response,even with the original charger.now it doesnt charge
i went to several repairmen.they all say that everything works ok,but the path from the socket to the board is cut off!!!!
unfortunately i am in the abandoned iran.no one has the maps for this path.i mean charging path

Since some days now, when I charging my HD7 in a normal plug, it starts to flicker around the programs, emails etc AND even calling up numbers in the mobile.
Anybody else got similar problem, or any solution?
Its chev unlocked, sim unlocked and the latest official updates. O2 UK.

i got the same problem ... give me same thing when charging through a wall charger but dont give me any problem when charging through a usb cable on pc..
the only thing that helped me is u keep charging the device and when the indicator goes green dont remove the cable from ur mobile.. after 15 mins u will see that no thing like that happen even if u unplug and plug it ( sorry for the bad english )
Hmm now even more strange! This only happend in Italy, Denmark and Sweden, NOT when Im back in the UK. But I didnt have any problems when Im charging through the pc!!

on iphone i have this problem when charging by the wall charger but having no problem with pc charging maybe its because of the changing of voltages and it makes effect on the lcd touch :-??
but up to now i didn't see such problem on my hd7
i;ve tried a lot of chargers from other devices i have, and found that when i am using charger with less than 1000ma then phone can charge ofcourse, but when in charging lcd screen stucks. also the cable quality seems to have do with it. Only use the stock ones.
