Free HTC Trinity SIM & CID Unlocker Available

This is a patched radio ROM that can be used to remove the Operator SIM lock and CID lock from HTC Trinity based telephones.
It can be used in all HTC Trinity devices, no matter which bootloader version or radio bootloader version the device is running.

Install Instructions:
Easy auto-install Instructions:
Unzip unlocker and run AUTO_Unlock_v1.bat
If you don't want to install automatically, or for some reason the process doesn't work for you, here are the manual instructions:
Transfer SSPL/SSPL-TRIN.exe to your phone and run it
Tri-color screen will appear
Disable activesync (file -> connection settings -> uncheck "allow USB connections")
Connect your phone to your computer using the USB lead.
Run RUU/ROMUpgradeUtility.exe
Follow the flashing process (Check the "I understand..." and "I completed..." boxes and update!)
Allow your phone to reboot.
Transfer TRIN_Unlock_v1.exe program to your phone and run it
Click the Unlock Button, select unlock option. Select if you want SIM/CID unlock.
Click "Unlock!" and wait until process finishes.
When done, turn off your phone for 10 seconds and reboot after that.
Please Note: It is *highly recommended* to flash a full rom after using the unlocker.

Technically I don't kwow what imei-check commercial unlocker exactly does on Trinity, but the result should be the same with both unlockers.

Tu "unlocker" parece permite de poner en mi P3600 comprado en francia la ultima rom de DopodAsia 1.23 WWE puesta en este foro sin problemas ?
Es eso o me equivoco ?
Para emplear este "unlocker" tengo que decompactar el zip en my ordenador syncronisado con el P3600 y despues , el se cargar todo solo en el P3600 o tengo que poner el "unlocker" decompactado en el P3600.

Do I need to unlock CID to unlock SIM? Also, can I lock the CID again? And finally, how can I backup my radio rom, unlock, and then flash the old radio rom again without CID unlock?

No, you can check only "sim unlock" if you don't want to CID unlock.

No, once you check "cid unlock" it will be SuperCID forever. Don't check this option if you don't want to cid unlock.

You can't backup your radio rom, but you can flash another radio rom using SSPL after unlocking.

Unfortunatly my Trinity is in Portuguese, so there is no rom available to flash again, to put the phone in it's original state So, my idea is to unlock it and then restore the radio rom. But I can't see any radio rom available on the ftp server

Use ExtROM unlocker for Hermes (HermesMountAllROM.cab), it works on trinity also. Device must be SuperCID.

Use NBHExtract to extract GSM.nb from full rom, then use NBHgen to make NBH with radio only. Flash using SSPL-Trin.

User experiences using free unlocker
Has anybody else used this free unlocker? Did it worked well? Especially I would like to know if anybody has used it in north europe/nordic countries (I have bought my p3600 from Finland).

Does it work for WIzard??

[ROM] French snap vue gps lightest

Hi,
Just a quick update for those interested in a light rom. I don't have much time right now to cook, but I've done some times ago a light rom in french.
This rom gives you 43 Mb free of storage after reset.
You can use UPX to reduce program size to get more space. This way, I have quite a lot installed on my device.
French users can use this, english can use the kitchen, and use the same folder and file structure ( by deleting non existing folder and files in the OEMdriver folder and oemapps) to get the same result.
To flash, use customruu program, run it as admin in the same folder as this nbh file. Rename the nbh file to RUUSigned.nbh
MAKE SURE YOU HAVE HARDSPL

I don`t think there is much difference with age of reason. I improved my knowledge between this one and the latest age of reason one.
Also, I think I didn't keep it ;-)

I've got a SHIFT and, as a lot of people, i've wanted to use it at all !!! ;-)
So, i've tried a lot of roms and... Stoped to the IOO, an of course, not in french. I've tried all the responses done by the different users found on this forum, and, none's working ! :-(
So, can anybody give us a CAB with all the dll's and files to translete our EN SHIFT in a french one ?

There is no cab to change a rom to french. You need to ask the rom creator to make a french version. I doubt I00 has any french version.
I've done one without phone, if you can still find it. I don't have much plan to make a french version from current rom.

Nope, just language files. You can replace 0409 (WWE) files in jerpelea's 21725 SYS and build a ROM in your own lang.
Dunno if it will work on older version of WM6.5, because of the speed of developement a good change it will not work properly.

Very nice share from Da_G. However, since the modules are all corrupt, the language files (at least 407) are not working. Waiting for the fixed release ...

yeah it's a great release, and will hopefully convince all cookers to move across to bepes/ervirus' kitchen..
21725 is the best winmo build so far by a long way imho.

1 - Download latest SEX1 ROM in my language (Generic Italy R3AA007 Software Update)
2 - Dump it with Visual Kitchen
3 - Download a Kitchen of a working WM6.5 custom rom for SEX1
4 - Change OEM and EXT forlder in the kitchen with ones extracted from the R3AA007 orignal ROM.
4 - Replace all 0409 files and folders with 0410 (Italian code) taken from the R3AA007 original ROM.
5 - Cook!
Are these the right steps to translate a WM6.5.X ROM from WWE to Italian?

4 - Just use the full OEM and EXT of the extracted ROM
4 - You need to replace the language specific folders of wm6.5.x with language folder of the same branch (for build 23529 you can't use the 0410 language folders of your extracted ROM)

Is this valid even if I'm going to cook a WM 6.5 rom? It seems not so right according to Lokatho post....

Yes, this way you build your own kitchen without using someone else's.
If you extract an Italian R3A rom with visual kitchen you basically build a kitchen, but with wm6.1.
So if you want wm6.5 you need the wm6.5 build of your choice:
28205 - start button on bottom
23518 - start button on top
23529 - start button on bottom with threaded e-mail and office 2010
You can download the rollup from Da_G and use the files to add/replace the following folders in the visualkitchen:
- SYS\23529
- ROM\SHARED\23529
Rename the folder ROM\KOVSKY\19*** to 23529
Now you are ready to build a ROM...
In Da_G's thread are also alot tutorials on how the visualkitchen works and how to port a newer build version.

Well... We're waiting.

So..... I've followed Lokatho instructions and I can now build a WM6.1 succesfully. But no luck with a 6.5 one. I've changed all files as recommended by Lokatho but after that the kitchen has built a 201mb nbh file. I tried to flash it using FlashCard method and after flashing completes (about 10 minutes) I reboot it and it hangs on the first SonyEriccsson screen..... Just a thing I haven't understood is it necessary to port the XIP or it just should work only replacing files with a WM6.5 built? Should I port the XIP.bin file in the Da_G 28205 rollup using the XIP.BIN from WM6.1 rom?
Note I've used 28205 branch....

Just take the MSXIPKernel folder and the xip.bin file from the rollup and copy them to ROM\Shared\28205.
Rename the ROM\Kovsky\19608 to 28205.
Now you've ported the new XIP to your kitchen...
If the ROM hangs at the SE logo at boot there can be a couple of things wrong:
1 - SYS/OEM lang don't match
2 - problem with ported XIP
There are more, but don't recall them. Search and you will find...

I'm still fighting against Ervius Visual Kitchen!!!! I've cooked a lot of roms..... but no one works..... All stuck at boot screen.....

I've also tried the last build (23541) but no luck!!! My Kitchen is working becaus it's the X1 WWE 21874 and I can build that ROM..... and I can build Italian Wm 6.1 rom..... but I can't cook the Wm 6.5 italian one......
I followed all instructions..... I've tried and tried and tried again several times..... but results still the same: Stuck on the SonyEricsson logo.......
I'll give it up for today.... I think I'm going to take a couple of days of non-cooking.
If someone has something to advise me please feel free to post here!

Dear mohsen,
if your HDmini is from different region than ASIA you have to use SSPL to install this rom.
Mine is from Middle East... so to install this rom:
1- Extract the file with WINRAR or WINZIP -- you will have a .nbh file inside
2- Get the SSPL from this forum
3- Put the 2 file in the same directory
4- YOUR DEVICE HAS TO BE ON AND CONNECT TO PC VIA ACTIVESYNC
5- Run SSPL --> you will get a YES / NO popup on you device
6- Choose YES as soon as possible....
7- Device will go to TRICOLOR screen and SSPL will get ERROR
8- Don't worry... CHECK if USB appears on buttom of the tricolor screen
9- run SSPL again.... and follow instructions...

1- file ROM ra ba winrar ya winzip baz kon
2- Dakheleh in file yeh file .nbh vojood darad keh oono faghat lazem dari va copy kon too yeh directory khali
3- file DFT_SSPL_mini ra az inja download kon va dar hamoon directory gharar bedeh:

4- Hala 2ta file dari to yek directory > mobile ro Roshan beh computer vasl kon va sabr kon keh connect besheh.
5- SSPL ra ejra kon va ta Update rom boro
6- moghei keh mikhad beh UPDATE beresseh roo mobile yeh soal miporseh keh bayaad kheyli sarie YES javab bedi...
7- mobile varedeh safheh 3 rang misheh va roo computer ERROR migiri
8- negaran nabash... check kon roo mobile paeen safeh 3rang USB zaher shodeh basheh
9- Dobareh SSPL ro ejra kon va rom UPDATE mishavad...
