Save youtube Videos

Hello all, please dont flame me if this has already been answered, but I have serarched both this forum and the tinternet to no avail. I was a 2G Iphone owner, but am now a proud owner of a Touch Diamond. One thing I miss about my Iphone however is that I was able to download a program call MXtube (it was Jailbroken), it had a similar GUI to the Youtube app, but it allowed you to download the videos to your Iphone, then view them using the app. I was just wondering if there was a simlilar app for the Touch Diamond.

If you use the mobile firefox, you can download any of the youtube downloading xpi's.

I've also been looking for a similar program, after a quick lookup i found this free program that should do the job.

It would have been a nice feature if it was possible to save videos directly from the Diamond YT application, but i guess there would be some copyright issues with that

sound quality youtube streams

hey guys,
I installed the new opera mobile onnmy x1 and I cant open any youtubevid. seems like a flashplayerprob... can i register at adobe side and just install flashlite? if i open a youtube vid with normal opera i havea bad soundquality and badvid too. it always opens with this mediastream programm...which is ugly...somehow strange with such an expensive phone. does anybody know how i can make it sound better?

if you because you paied a lot for the x1 expect sonyE to have tames wm
you must be new to windows mobile
with enough reading and tweaking opera you can get it to play youtube without using mediastream

hi rudegar, thx for the tipps, well i dont only want youtube to work. every flashmovie should actually play...any alternative? or better said how can i make opera play every flashmovie without mediastream and in good quality...

WMP12 Internet Media Streaming?

Well I have been playing with what has to be one of the most useful features of Windows 7 over the past few days. WMP12 will now stream media over the internet, I have even got some of my lower bitrate 720p files to stream well.
I am wondering if anyone is working on access to this on Android? I know that I can use ORB to accomplish this, but in truth ORB has a bad habit of maxing out my CPU on Vista/Win7 boxes, not to mention that the interface and quality are not that great. WMP12 on the other hand streams great, with only a 5% increase in CPU usage on an old, single core, AMD Athlon64. For those that have not tried this out yet, I can attest to streaming 1gig divx "DVD Backups" to a friends house on the other side of the state with no perceivable loss of quality in video or audio. You can bet on the fact that this will be a feature in the upcoming windows mobile platform.

I will flat out admit that I know nothing of coding or the rights needed to put a windows live ID on android, but if this app could be developed it would surly make some money as windows 7 proliferation continues forward. I also know that DIVX is not fully available on Android short of the Samsung I5700 Galaxy Spica and the not so liked yxflash app, but these two show that it can be done. Having access to my music library alone would be great though.

I'd like to second this. I'm not on Android, but it seems to me that integrating this into Windows Mobile 6.5 should be possible. I know about Orb, of course, but I'd love to have one less program running on my poor overburdened server.

Your favourite MUSIC PLAYER

Hey guys!
Iam using the S2P music player but not happy with! Its laggy and when iam browsing in my folders or type on the button to switch to the actuall-folder list the sounds hang for a second. Thats annoying.
So iam interesting in your favourite music player

Well my favourite is nitrogen because of its finger friendly style and skins support but as I ve asked a few people they re using core player and the fabulous WMP . There aren t many good music players for WM.

Windows Media Player with custom skin because it's fully controllable with HTC e100/w100 wired remote control and my desktop docking station with infrared remote control.

Btw.: I'm using the Ecell remote dock. It's actually for HTC Diamond but works great with Touch Pro too.
The small Diamond in the picture is the IR remote control.
I had to "glue" the desk stand down because it tends to tilt over because of the heavy Touch Pro.
The video out ist however no longer working on newer ROMs through this docking station.

[Q] HD7 confused owner?

Hi every one i hope you guys could help with my hd7, i just got it and very happy with it but there is some stuff i dont understand like for example why i cant not stream online radio like on my hd2 if is a windows device and its thru windows media player. no flash, i feel like windows 6.5 could do more and after using android on the hd2 im cosidering going in to a tmobile g2. but i love windows more than android because of the online streaming, is that something they working on or should i go back to hd2. thanks

You could get a Zune pass and stream music not free though but very good

i keep in touch with local news and music back home the zune pass is for all those artist that are lucky to get a record label.

I found several apps that will stream music, you can try "iheartradio" app. It has you select a region and has local stations (a bit behind the actual broadcast if you listen to both simultaneously) and there are specialty stations. There is also "Slacker" I like "iheartradio" a bit more though.
