Comment on 2.1:
I am very pleased with the performance and speed of this rom, In my own opinion this is my best rom on x1. Ofcourse this is my subjective view
Also remember to do a hard-reset after flashing this rom. In many cases minor bugs and performance issues is resolved doing that.

Update:
As per a few other people - activesync is a bit weird, but it IS functioning correctly and syncing with my Exchange server. If you double-click the soft buttons at the bottom they work fine! Very odd. Pushing the hard OK button gets you out of it ok too, so I can live with that given how often I use it.
The same double click thing works the same for changing the input type - double click the small up pointer and you can change to the keyboard, block input etc etc.
Weather is updating fine for me, unlike some other dude.
itje - Would you mind sharing the performance reg tweaks you applied to your previous rom so I can put them on this one?

I must say very nice. I've been trying to save up the money to get one of these and when I finally do you're gonna be my chef
One quick question though. Did you manage to port the landscape screen from Manila?
I know that should someone slide the keyboard open while the Manila interface is still on the screen it must be strange if there is no landscape support.
If it's not already done then it might be worth trying to port that from the Raphael for the next release.
Anyways the ROM looks awesome and I can't wait to get this phone and give it a try!

first of all:
Landscape is not supported on Manila from Blackstone. And no, I see no sollution to this. Perhaps someone with better hacking skills then me can try combine Raphael and Blackstone manila. Im not doing it.
Remember to to a hard reset after you flashed this rom. Many "bugs" can be solved this way. (The device is often faster and more responsive if you do this)
And another reason this rom might feel abit slower is that I did not do so many registry changes on this release (You can use Advanced config to set up more performance tweaks etc etc)

itje, been using your Touch-IT X1 M-HD 1.1 rom and have been loving it. Looking forward to trying this one as well but was hoping to make a request. Would it be possible to cook a version of the rom with no opera for those of us that prefer the beta version to the stock xperia version? Thanks again for your great work.

Opera is installed via bootloader, you should be able to remove it (I have not tested yet on this rom)

Hmmm just a tought
when you do a full port, how hard is it to change language?
im figuring, i want to turn this into a nordic version SWEDISH... is it hard, can iot be done?

I have done so with other devices without problems.
I made a norwegian rom for x1, and it boots up and all. But there are some things I need to work out, because its mixed in language.
I belive its in the xip parts, but im working on it.
to all:
Do not ask me if I can make a rom in your language. It wont happen. I might do a norwegian rom, but when I have done this on other devices, there has been so little users of the rom, and It is to much work doing it for so few ppl.
But, if/when I figure it out, I will make a thread with the sollution.

To flash ROM you need USPL in order you don't have any guarantee problems. For more, take a look here.
Alternative, you must flash Unsigned_HardSPL_for_Blackstone_OliNex from here. Οnce you have hardspl flashed already, all you have to do is just flash any ROM you want.
You have two ways to flash the ROM. I propose first one, as safe and more rapid.
1. Copy BLACIMG.NBH into the root dir of your Storage Card.
2. Be sure to have at least 30% of charge.
3. Turn off your device . Fully power the device off by long press of power key.
4. Go to bootloader mode. Push and hold Vol Down + press Power button.
5. As soon as presented the message, push Power button to start flashing or Volume Down button to cancel.
6. The whole procedure will take about 3 minutes. After you finish and see the relative message, soft reset your device, you are ready.
Alternative way: After unzipping the file you have downloaded, you must run from your desktop PC CustomRUU.exe with your device synchronizing and the battery above the 50%. Follow the instructions on the screen. After fisrt boot make a hard reset.

Thank for for this great ROM. Finally a rom without manilla but with all the rest (almost). Very quick and easy to use. I have one question. Can I modify the settings so that the camera setting can be changed to saving on storage card and 5m?

I can attest to the speed. This is a very fast ROM!! I have SPB Shell loaded and Resco explorer works faster on opening windows than my top end desktop. Had this loaded now for a week and not had to even look for the soft reset button. Unheard of for me with all previous WM devices and roms.

I have one question, for now. I have been trying to load on the slide to answer phone skin but am not having much success. Can you point me in the write direction? I have been using the IPC Black dailer cab. I also tried the HTC HD Dailer. Neither changed the dailer built into the cab. Still loving this ROM!

You can't do that! HTC phone skin is out of the ROM.

hmmm for me the scrolling in Contacts is working without any probs. Also the Music tab is working wihtout probs.
LikeM: Only the Manila works in English, too. Just change the manila language in the Manila Reg from de-DE to en-US. It should work.

@RideTheTube: Maestro, sorry for being not clear:
First, not the contacts screen in manila, but the DIALER SCREEN is problematic: press "Phone Up" key, the list made from call history and contacts can not be moved, you only see the first five (or so) entries.
Second, in the Manula "Music" tab, select "Update album art" from the menu, and you will notice the problem there, too.
Nevertheless, Keep up the good work!
[EDIT]Sorry, my fault - contact scrolling is OK (was wrong ROM) - RideTheTube is best!!!

ok, no possible solution to have it fully english language?

Phone list is working fo me also. But the home key (switch to the welcome page) at the bottom is not working for me no reactions of the device and i miss bubble braker. Can you provide htis as a cab?

Maybe i´ll give this rom a try. Testet some roms today and the one from PDAviet didn´t work well for me. Maybee this one is a little bit better. But most important for me is, that´s in german. Waited so long ...

after 4-5 softresets .... showcase & not-working home-soft-button give me the rest....
So the "HOME" softbutton does not work... without "HTC Task Manager" some application might need a softreset, cause I cant reach Showcase....
Further...
SMS recipients appearing 2 times... so 1 sms to my girlfriend seems 2 times going out....
Navigon does not run after installing --> it gave me a FREEZE ????

why cant you reach Showcase?
For closeing programms press the x button longer and for starting showcase press the windows button longer it gives you a vibration feedback.
And for the Homebutton here is a cab which fixes your prob ( But press the hangup button its near the same)

Cloudy AutoInstall​How to use:
- <SDCard>\AutoInstall\Manual: CAB files that require user input
- <SDCard>\AutoInstall\Storage: CAB files will be installed on SDCard automatically
- <SDCard>\AutoInstall: CAB, REG, XML, PROVXML, MSCR files
Notes:
- At 1stBoot, it won't install anything in <SDCard>\AutoInstall\Manual, and auto reset your device if something has been installed.

I just downloaded it through the given link (RapidShare), it is so slow, but i use FlashGet to download it.
Finished the download after 40 minutes, it is slow but just be patience rather than nothing at all.
And haven't tried the ROM though, still trying other ROM.

You know, no testers no development, it's all up to you guys...

...well it has become very silent in the non-touchscreen corner of devices. Wings was not especially popular anyway. Most active forum still is the Excalibur - not much different to the Vox where you had a great success of supplying various builds. They would for sure appreciate a multi-language (including Spanish) ROM - as I think that only WWE ROMs are available.
I try to keep the fire burning in the Typhoon, Hurricane and Tornado areas, but hardly any interest left, sadly...

The wings is still a great phone, best battery and signal i've ever had, the only reason i left it was to migrate to android but would use it again with win 6.5 on it.

Whether you continue this project or not, im just letting you know that "Beta 1" works as it should, been using it as my primary phone for past 4 hours with 2gb sdcard and i've used every function, mp3, wifi, text, calls, games, installed extra apps etc.. and I havent had any issues.

1. I flashed the beta2 rom and it stuck at the "smart mobility" screen on boot.
2. I went into manual bootloader mode and attempted flashing beta2 again with no sucess, same problem as before.
3. Im now back to beta1 again

OK, I'll see what I can do without my backup DVD of my old kitchen files (probably a XIP problem...)!

but when i turn in my phone stucks in black screen (smart mobility) on beta 2 and after 30 min its's turning off please some help me

Beta 2 doesnt work, so go back to beta 1.
Start your phone in bootloader mode by powering on with the camera button pressed, then connect your usb cable and flash the beta 1 rom as normal.

I didn't have time yet for fixing this problem. But next week is wide open
