Help! Language characters don't show up in iGo 8 - Touch Diamond, MDA Compact IV General

I am running igo8 on my htc, and the special language characters (ie: éáőóü, čćšž, etc) don't show up for Croatia and/or Hungarian street names.
Basicaly when I'm driving through Croatia it shows the name of street like this
rade kon ara
but it should show "rade končara"
leaves blanks for the international characters... how can i fix this? thx

How to fix contatcs area code?

Whats up guys,
Im using my TyTn in hong Kong. And here we dont have different area codes like in the U.S.
Like for example in the US a number would be: (201)989-1234 but here in HK a number would just be 9875-8547
But the problem im facing is that the TyTn II is displaying my contacts tel numbers in the following format: (987)58547. Is there anyway i can fix this to change them to display properly?
Try changing your regional settings to English (Australia)

Yeah, I am looking for this one since I brought my X1 from UK and the CE-Star I got is not the bundle one.
CE Star
I have installed CE-Star program and it works fine. I have the U.S. version of Sony X1, so if I open Opera and IE to view chinese website, it will not show the chinese characters. But once I installed it. I can see it fine.
My main concern is once this software installed. All my other applications like Skype, messenger...etc shows chinese language instead of English. There is no way I set it back to just read english, even though remove ce-star from memory, it will still show the chinese characters which is not cool.
Does anyone know how fix that ?
I just want this problem to allow me to turn it on and view and write chinese characters but not to change the language on the other programs to show chinese.
Just change yr regional setting to USA or UK.
Cut the crap, ChinesePlus.
For viewing, that's good enough.
For writing, use TouchPal, but need to get the license to active the multiple language input.
I followed the instructions here for adding font to read Chinese: http://leeblood.com/2008/02/16/windows-mobile-6-changing-the-system-font-adding-korean-support/
It's for Korean font, but if you substitute with a Chinese font instead of malgun.ttf it still worked.

[Hack Request] Different System and Navigation Language

Although I live in Germany, I prefer to have my Android device set to the UK locale, because searches etc. are easier in my opinion.
Unfortunately I have found no way to change navigation language to German. I changed the output settings of TTS, but this did not change the spoken language.
I also noticed that as long as the system language is set to US the navigation is spoken with american accent instead of clean english in spite of having set the output language to UK.
I would be really thankful for any hack or workaround that could aleviate this problem
Thank You
I'd like this too
+1! Although it is quite entertaining to hear German street names in English...
