Does anyone know how I can get the "send to space" command available for my Windows Mobile 6.1 phone. (tilt)
I used to have a ROm that had a send to space command available for photos. This would send a photo to my Windows Live Space through and internet connection. I however have changed my ROM to something else.
For some reason I can't download it on my phone nor can I download it through my computer. And I don't have texting on my phone so none of their texting works.
The Windows Live Site gives links to programs or websites that allow me to access my account and upload it like that.
Having the Send to Space command upon a right tap (and hold) on a picture is way more easier and practical. Does anyone know a way that I would be able to download it?

I do have an hotmail account and from time to time I do receive attachments bigger than 2 MB. However I am not able to download them. Anyway I can increase the size limit of the download?
On my Kaiser, Windows Live will download the first 30K (maximum limit setting) of the email. If you want the rest of the email, you just tap "download message" and the rest of it comes down.
I've downloaded emails with 4MB attachments without any problems at all... so it does work.
Mine won't download any attachments larger than 2 MB. It will give me a message File too big. How can I fix it?
anybody else has the same problem?
It has been almost 24 hours since today that when I select Send / Receive it tries to synchronize and then I get the message that Hotmail Live is temporarily unavailable and to try again later. Anybody else facing this problem??

Maybe you are out of storage ? Cause it works fine here also (like GTRoberts described it already)
the same for me
I have the same problem.Doesnt matter if I want to download the whole message via WiFi or HSPA - every time I get the message about too big file. I wrote to MS support and now I am waiting for the reply.
Seems like the version of MSN Messenger that comes w/ WM6 has more features than the last version, but for some reason it is missing a few key things!!!
-I can't copy text from messages that people send me
-If I get sent a URL/link, I can't click on it to open it up in the browser.
Any ideas?
Somewhere I read that the version that comes with the phone is actually using SMS (and therefore your text messages), and not utilizing the monthly bandwidth that is a part of your service. Is this true? Think it also said that Windows Live was removed completely (messenger, search, etc) by AT&T. Can you download this anywhere?
Thanks!
Yeah, the Oz IM that comes installed on the Tilt uses SMS, not data. There are alternative instant messaging programs available that will use data instead (Palringo and Fring are a couple I use) but neither one of those will let you open a browser link, I've not tried copying text though. WLM is available in the stickied area of this forum concerning cabs and such - just look there and you'll find it.
Hi,
iam searching some tool to write sms/mails on my laptop and send them via my HTC S730 aka Wings.
Any tools for that ? i dont like that small keyboard...
I have not seen any for that purpose but again I have not really looked since I like the KB.
However a lot of Carriers websites will allow you to send text messages from any web based computer using your account after you log in....
should work if i dont have any internet connection or just a slow one. boot up pc, connect to the mobile via bluetooth/usb, write the message and send....
i thought there will be at least 100 replies for such an easy stuff....cant believe that everybody likes taht keyboard...
This is a german software, but I think that's no problem because you just have to click on "Senden" when you want to send the text message.

Hi Guys,
Great forum with loads of useful info!
I have a query and was wondering if anyone could help me. I want to transfer my SMS's off my phone to my computer. Is there anyway of doing this (to a txt file etc)?
Is there anyway of having the thread conversation displaying all messages between you and the other person instead of having to press "older", if so, i could "copy all" and paste on to an email?
Any help much appreciated.
bump!
Want to do this too, nobody knows if its possible?

Hi,
there's a software called VITO SMSChat. There you can backup your messages. SMSChat creates a html file. That should be readable with a normal browser but I didn't test it.
Another useful software for backing up text messages is Jeyo Mobile Companion.
CU
check out dashwire.com. not a backup in the sense that you have a file on your computer but in a way better because it can auto run in the background to always stay in sync online. plus it does way more than the sms info
I used a program on my G1 a while back that allowed control of the phone through a nice web interface. This program would utilize the phones wifi, and once I was connected to the wifi network, the program would have a big green box on the bottom that said "Navigate to xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx on your computer." (xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx was the IP address of my phone). Once I went to that IP, I could view the pictures that were on the device, manipulate the contacts, send/read text messages, control what music was playing on it, etc.
Does ANYONE remember what program I am thinking of? For the life of me I can not think of its name.
And if memory serves, you could also do some basic configuration of the phone via the web interface too.

It sounds like you are describing the "Motorola phone portal" thingy.
