I think this might give you what you want. Not sure if it will intall over that you have now. I used it once , but I prefer the slide to answer. It keep me from accently hitting the hang up button when holding the phone to my face or answer while phone is in it's case, or me grabbing it, before I can see who's calling.
Try this, hope it's what you're after:

thx,
i helped, bud i dont see color and mute button. It doesnt matter, i´m glad that hw keys is now working.

Sorry, I don't remember the exact detail of the dailer.
Keep an eye on it. On my ROM this (maybe, don't recall specificaly) and the opal dailer start out working but soon after break.
Hope you find what you looking for.

I've tried installing this cab on my HTC 6.1 ROM, but it only changes the startup pin screen and nothing else. Any other versions that will work on a standard ROM to get the call id screen like above?

Iphone dialpad skin hangs WM.

Hi All,
This is my first post here...
Has anybody using the Iphone dialpad skin experienced this issue?
You call one of those places where you need to "Press 1 for xxxx, 2 for xxxx", so you touch on "Keypad" to bring the leypad up and enter the number, then when you click on "Call Status" to bring the "Mute", "Speakerphone", etc menu up and the phone hangs completely, you can still hear the conversation, but can't do anything else...
This only happened to me while the Iphone dialpad skin was installed, tried many others and they all work fine, a shame as the Iphone one is really nice.
I've searched the forums but no mention of this issue anywhere.
Thanks,
Fernando.

Microsoft would see that as a "feature"
yes, this is very frustrating with the Narg iphone dialer.
I am in for a $25 donation if someone will fix it for the Touch!!!!
Yes, I can confirm x5 today that it hangs the whole WM6.5 (Joshs 21725_Light_5-30) any time you access the buttons on the Call Status screen. Only SR will bring back phone..... ukk
And upon further research and trying various other dialers, I can attest that the only way that the Opal dialer works on Kaiser/Tilt WM6.5 is via Anryl ROM (per other user reports) as of today 6/5/09.
So the long answer is, Both iPhone type dialers are broken and will not work and are no longer being developed, and the OPAL one needs fixing to work on WM6.5 ROMs other than Anryls, and I love Josh's ROM too much to change
I se we are digging in the graveyard again ?

s2u2 slide-to-answer problem

Hi,
Has anyone got the s2u2 Slide to Answer feature working?
I've got S2A turned on, but when a call comes in, it looks like S2A and the TouchFlo answer screen are fighting it out as to which one gets control... there is lots of flickering on the display, and it switches back and forth between the S2A and the Touchflo answer screens.
If you press the screen, it seems that the TouchFlo is getting priority, as the Answer or Ignore buttons will work, even if they aren't actually being displayed.
Anyone managed to get this working properly?
I'm using S2U2 version 1.03.
Thanks for any suggestions.
Regards,
Ben

lol
That sounds like fun.
I suppose you can disable TouchFLO 3D, although you probably don't want to do that. You might be able to stop TouchFLO 3D from handling calls with a registry edit, although I doubt it...
I have the same problem. After several tries, I found two solutions. The first one is using AdvanceConfig to disable 'phone skin', after restart, s2u2 works properly. But the dialpad is no longer the diamond style. The second one is to install another dialpad to replace the existing diamond dialpad.
But i really love the existing diamond dialpad, so I gave up the s2u2. hehe, really hope someone can fix this problem.
So can you still utilize all the other S2U2 goodness besides S2A feature? If so, I'd happily turn off S2A and keep all else. Though a proper solution would also be the preference.
yes, other functions work in a good condition

has someone found a solution?
i blocked the touch function of the screen when there is incoming call. So now i use hardkey to pick up the phone. For s2u2, A_C also realized the problem, hope he can fix it in the near furture

I'd like this answer too, i love so much s2a and the other functions but i love the classical tflo dial pad(i'm a little bit confused about all the tweaking and installing out the box apps that may get in conflict with others!)
However i still think that Diamond will be a superphone in one month or two with all the geniuses around here
There is another thread with exactly this issues. If you have managed to block the touch screen and just allow the hard keys, how did you do it?
up up.
Does anyone found a solution? My S2U2 worked great, untill this morning.....Now I have the same problem.
How can help.....
You can keep touchflo3d dial pad with S2U2, just have to edit registry "HKLM\Software\HTC\Biotouch" make a new Key called "Disable4SpecificApp", and inside this another one called "S2U2", inside this a new string wich "value name" is "classname" and its "value data" is "S2U2"

[REQ] HTC Black Dialer Cab

Hey guys,
I just did like 5 different google searches through the site and I cant find the HTC Black Dialer/Phone Canvas cab.
Does anyone happen to have one?
Thanks a bunch!
Daniel
You didn't look hard enough I tell you
right on!!!
Honestly I did, the closet thing I found where the black IMG files from LantisOS ROM, but that didnt include the phone as well.
Thank you for the cab!
EDIT: Im trying to install this on top of Da_G's latest 6.5 ROM, and I am still getting the default Windows Dialer...do you know what I can do to make this work?
Yes, sometimes it's hard to find certain things. I simply wanted to find the black manila start panel skin for my TP and it took me hours but I finally found it.
Is there a version without the slide to answer?
I installed this cab and love the look but have been experiencing a glitch; the on-screen buttons get blurryed and are not responsive once a call is dailed and I press send. I cannot access the speakerphone/note/end call etc that are displayed in a blurred fashion...anyone else getting this?

I think it might be possible that it is the in call curtain you see. Have to slide it down to access buttons behind it.

Well this one was the charm for my Sprint TP. Works Great, and did not foul anything up
to whoever said they tried the s2a on wm6.5 with no luck.. I believe that the dialer is still an issue with wm6.5 that has yet to be fixed..compatability issues between htc and m$ i think..I also tried installing s2a and when i would receive a call the screen would glitch and switch between the traditional 6.5 slide to answer, the older 6.1 style answer screen, and the s2a screen lol very glitchy...

Vibrate to Connect in 6.5

is it possible to make your phone vibrate on call connect while using the windows default keypad?
i know if i enable the diamond keypad it works.
and also the program "Vibrate On Connect" does not work with the Touch Pro.
I am told it cannot work without the diamond phonepad.
So i'm wondering if anyone can enable it through a .cab file on a non-htc customized 6.5 rom
Have You tried this?
Try Start>Settings>Personal Tab>Phone>Scroll all the way to the right until you see the Advanced tab>Remove the tick from "Vibrate device when connection is established">Click OK until you see your home screen.

That tab doesn't exist in WM6.5 with the default dialer.
The only way I know of is to use s2u2 and set it to answer calls and it has an option to vibrate on connect, but I honestly don't use it because I like the built-in lock app in 6.5.

How do you switch between the Diamond dialer and the Windows default dialer? I can only see the Diamond dialer. If I knew how to switch I would look into it to help you.

Da_G WM6.5 21198 Test 2 ROM has stock dialer. Only HTC based app i've noticed so far is for the camera. You could flash this and check out the fresh new non-htc goodness..

Uh, thats that ROM Im already an using.
that option is there because i used Da_G's kitchen and installed the htc dialer because i thought i would like it, however the 6.5 dialer i like better so i used advanced config to switch back.
and yes i like the 6.5 lock much better as well so s2u2 is not an option.
also i downloaded some kind of green button app or something called vibrate which automatically starts when i boot up however never installed, just ran as a .exe and it does what i want- almost- it vibe's on connect however it is a little late and the vibration is too much and not subtle like the htc diamon dialpad one- if anyone can get the vibrate on connect feature from the diamond dialer it would be apprieciated- also how can i stop this new vibrate.exe from running?
Try this and hope you got the fix.
HKLM\Software\HTC\PHONE\PhoneExtendSetting
"ConnectingVibration" set value to 1 to Enable
0 to Disable in Decimal

and not Vibrate after connect
thank you
didnt notice the word "htc" in that registry key? thats for the diamond dialer. does it not work if you install htc dialer and disable it (switch back to standard wm dialer) using something like diamond tweak? or does the tab with the vibrate option disappear with it?

To return to WM dialer
HKLM\Security\Phone\Skin
set (Enabled) to 0
soft reset
I used Advanced Config v3.3 to revert to the WM 6.5 dialer (which I actually like a lot more than I thought I would), but I also lost the vibrate functionality, which I really enjoy, since where I work my signal fluctuates a lot, and even though I'll show good service on Sprint, it often won't connect, and I'll just hold it in my hand, or put it down on the table and wait for it to actually go to "connected" when I hear/feel the vibrate.
When I go into the Phone options Advanced tab I still have the option to "Vibrate on Connect", but it doesn't work, either checked, or unchecked.
Anyone able to get their phone to vibrate on connect using the WM6.5 dialer?
This isn't a dealbreaker for me, or anything, as I prefer the speedier WM dialer over the delayed HTC dialer (especially when the unit is locked), but it would be nice to get it back.
Vibration on connect
vibration on connect and Slide unlock bugs existent in all cooked ROMs in this forum. I trial all ROMs and found it. If you know the resolves please post it here. thanks
i have the same problem and i would like to know how to fix it ..
thanks all
-Did you try using "Pocket Shield"?, i use it with Da_G 6.5 rom too.
-It's a locking program with amazing options to lock/unlock your device (with light, stylus, slide, gestures)
-AND has the option to vibrate when call connected and is as subtle as de touch pro/diamond dialer. Just a short vibration after the call is engaged.
-Works great for me...
-IT IS NOT FREEWARE though... googleeeeeeee

hi,

have a error and don't possible install... any idea ?
I have a HTC Diamond and WM 6.5 ROM.

WM 6.5 Caller ID Screen

I was wondering if there was anyway to take the caller id screen from the WM 6.5 lock screen and use it permanently throughout the phone. So when I receive a call, regardless if my phone is locked or unlocked, I would see this http://i532.photobucket.com/albums/ee324/indagroove/Screen21.png instead of this http://www.fuzemobility.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/01/slide-to-answer-thumb.jpg . I use CSDevCtrl to keep the phone locked during incoming call. But I think you can use any WM6.5 lock program for that matter, and it will keep the phone locked during incoming call.

It's not during the call that's the problem. The phone has to be locked before the incoming call, to get that "slide to answer" screen on WM6.5. If the phone isn't locked, it will be like normal, as in the last picture in the first post.

Use smartlock. This app. has an option to lock the phone and present you with WM 6.5 screen. This works both for incoming or outgoing. I have been using it for a while and works great.
