I've used my Tilt for a lot of RDP sessions into my Vista PC at home without issues. I installed it on my Sprint Touch Pro and a few keys just don't seem to work. The i key won't work at all, as does the enter key.
Anyone hear of this?
I havn't been able to get RDT working on my Fuze.
I have RMT working on 3 other PCs in the house though.
What keys? Mine is working flawlessly as far as I can tell ont he fuze
I have the same problem on my Raphael. "i" and "s" don't work, and also confirming by "enter" button is not working either.
Any ideas?

I am hoping someone has a solution. The HTC Tilt keyboard will work fine when mapped, but as soon as I use Pocket Controller, it will not pick up my input from the computer in Morphgear. The phone's keyboard still works, but it will not map to my computer one like it does in other programs.
Any ideas?
Problem solved - sort of. Used VirtualCE 4.0 and it works no problem, seems to be a SOTI problem.
This should probably applies to all Bluetooth HID keyboards as well.
But anyway, I just bought a Logitech DiNovo Mini BT keyboard
http://www.logitech.com/index.cfm/keyboards/keyboard/devices/3848&cl=hk,en
I noticed that it was reporting as a typical Bluetooth HID device and thus I did the obivous thing and scanned for new devices with my Diamond. Lo And Behold it was detected! With a nice keyboard icon beside it too!
So I choose to connect to the device and then it asked me for a pass key, so I punched in the typical 0000, and the beach ball appeared.. and I waited... and waited... and waited..
"Error establishing device!" Damn!
I tried again cause I felt that it took too long to tell me that there was an error for it to be NOT WORKING And again I was greeted with an error.
So I scoured the net and I came across a Logitech KB article for their other Bluetooth keyboards, seems like to connect to it on Windows you'd have to TYPE the passcode on the KEYBOARD.
So again.. I got to the connection screen and then I keyed in 0000 in the diamond, pressed NEXT. Beachball came up, then I quickly typed 0000, ENTER on the keyboard.
"DEVICE CONNECTED!"
Woo hoo!!!
Downside is that since the keyboard doesn't have function keys, I can't access the soft menus on the screen.
Another more inconvient downside is that when the BT keyboard is connected. ALL FRONT BUTTONS on the Diamond are deactivated! Must be how the driver works. And since the DiNovo Mini doesn't have an off switch the only way to regain use of the front panel is to toggle the BT connection.
Inconvinient? YES...
Useful? ABSOLUTELY!!
hey marauderz, thanks for the heads up, i got a dinovo mini too (using with ps3) and after reading your post i'm going to try it out with my diamond.
I wonder what's going to happen when you have both ur PS3 and ur Diamond on at the same time? The box doesn't mention multiple connection sources
well just let us know, I haven't gotten home to try it out with my PC yet so I don't know about what happens with multiple sources.
WOOT it works just like you said!
About ps3, i'm not sure - i am using it in pc mode (switch at the back of dinovo) so it wouldn't work anyways if my ps3 was on. Later on i will try my laptop/dinovo and diamond/dinovo.
On the diamond, when i soft reset, i have to delete and remake another bt connection before dinovo would work again - toggling the bt would not make it connect. Bummer but hey this gadget is really cool!
Thanks again

I'm trying to do this w/my dinovo edge keyboard and it's not working? Can you please provide some more details? I'm assuming you keyed in a 4 digit code and pressed ENTER on the keyboard, then typed in the same 4 digits on the phone and pressed NEXT?
Good find, hope I can get it working too!
EDIT: I found specific instructions on how to do this. You have to enter the code in this order=>
It seems that the pairing procedure is as follows for devices that do not generate their own random passcode for use with the Dinovo, although I gathered this from experimentation:
Press Connect button on underside of keyboard
Search for Bluetooth devices with computer/PDA/phone
Select Dinovo from devices found
Enter a passcode on computer/PDA/phone if prompted (you choose the code), submit
Enter the same code on the Dinovo keyboard
It may be necessary to press ENTER on the Dinovo keyboard
Hopefully, the pairing will be successful.
smartphone - windows mobile 6
i would like to use the mini with windows mobile 6 - more specifically the tmobile shadow2. I can connect the device and my mobile recognized the keyboard as a form of input, but the keys on the mini are not working. are there any wm6 updates that i should find? I am on .net compact 3.5
National characters
Does somebody try to use Logitech Dinovo Mini for typing the national characeters? (like ľščťžýáíé etc...)
Anyone had any luck getting a Redfly to work with the HD2?
I got a C8 and they're trying to give me a firmware workaround to it might work with WM6.5 (since they're only supporting their newer models from now on), but still no driver working adequately for the HD2.
The latest driver kinda works but my phone usually needs a soft reset after disconnection.
... might be stuck with just using my bluetooth keyboard for a while but I did like the 8-hour battery life and the bigger screen too.
I wish I had an answer for you but...sorry. But I'm also a C8 owner and Oh! how I wish I could have it work.
The available driver totally locked my HD2 so I had to hard reset.
it works for usb connection. for bluetooth, i havent test.
it should works, but first u have to upgrade redfly firmware to 1.5
>>p.s. i use miri's 2.1 rom. its is awesome. many thanks to him
Updates:
Bluetooth connection is working. Everything is fine. I even got teeter the game running, u can tilt the leo for controlling g sensor while video is fed to redfly c8 screen.
Sorry but which driver did you use?
I had to hard reset too
After installing the latest Redfly cab in my HD2 it would not finish the boot anymore.
So battery out, hard reset and a nice hour of re-installs.....
Today it worked with some limitations
celiocorp.com/008
works today, the hardreset may have helped after all....
And the limitations are:
- a soft reset after each disconnect is required. A second connection without the soft reset blocks the HD2
- BT kinda works, some keys do not seem to respond and often the HD2 blocks
- Email application, IM+ and internet pocket explorer work well, have not tested much the other apps
(these are the ones I will mainly use in the Redfly)
Using USB connection
- Some USB sticks can be read (not all of them)
- VGA output works even for 800x600 resolution. Photo album works, but not slideshow.
Does anyone here still have the drivers for the Redfly? If so, please attach them to a reply. Their website is gone.
hey guys I've been searching for a solution all day and I'm out of ideas.
my bluetooth keyboard came in the mail today and for some reason it refuses to work on cm9. the keyboard works perfectly with my netbook, my friends iphone, his ipad, and even booted into webOS but when I'm booted into cm9 nothing happens. I can successfully pair it and it says its connected in the settings but none of the buttons respond. Does anyone know what the problem might be?
edit: forgot to mention I also tried wiping and flashing a new rom. tried both cm9 alpha 2 and aokp m4. same problem on both.
I don't know if this will help, but I've got a Motorola BT keyboard that is designed for android that doesn't work directly with WebOS (or Windows for that matter). To get it to work with WebOS I have to press and hold the 'V', 'A' and 'R' keys when I turn it on.
Perhaps your keyboard has some similar way of selecting alternate platforms?
ByteWrencher
nope that doesn't work :[.
so I tried my friends bluetooth keyboard and it works great. It seems android 4.0.3 on touchpad seems to be partial to certain keyboards..

So what keyboards are compatible with HP touchpad? I'm thinking of ordering one next week but don't want to waste the money on one that doesn't work.

I know it says it's for ipad, I am wondering if it would work with the N7? Did anyone get a chance to try one of these?
It looks really good, not too small, also the case can be used as a sort of dock.
LE: for clarification, I know there is an android version too, but at the store I could pick this up, they only have the ipad version. I cannot order online at the moment. At least from the pictures the two versions seem very similar, and I was assuming they use the same BT connectivity technology.
My guess would be that its usable since its Bluetooth but the Android version would be more useful. Kind of like having a Mac vs PC keyboard on your computer. Some keys have odd symbols like the Apple command key (sometimes called the cloverleaf key) working like a control key or perhaps the Windows key. Placement of some keys will be different also. As someone who's used nothing but PC keyboards on Macs for decades I'm used to the differences but you might not like them.

You are right. I saw the key layout. Will wait with the keyboard... it's not that urgent anyway.
Wife has one, it works fine, but missing any Android-specific keys that might be on keyboards, I honestly don't know what they'd be though.. I assume things like home, back, search, media play/stop etc... None of that works. The "Opt" key launches stuff, but none of it particularly useful (Calculator etc).
But for typing etc, it works fine.

There's an android / windows version too...
