Hello everyone,
As you can see I'm a new registered user on XDA-developers. I've been reading for a while now and decided to register! (finally )
Anyways, I've got a little problem..
Every time when I post or reply, my browser redirects me to a white page instead of bringing me back to the thread, or at least the forum. I know it's not a big deal but kind of annoying, I'm on Mozilla Firefox 3.0.4 by the way.
Anyone knows a solution for this? Would be thankful !

it may be your connection, if it lags then mozilla will just go blank. you can either reload page. (you should get a info notice telling you it has to resend data. of course if you do that then you risk double posting, which is a no no here, the best way mybe to go back and try again. ive noticed if you moving ur cursor constantly while the page loads then itll work a bit better dont know why

It seems I only get a blank page here. I tried reloading, but it doesn't give me a warning [resending data].

hi, when I open a new sms or email it opens but its scrolled down right to the end so I have to scroll up to view the start of the message.
Anyone got any ideas as to whats going on or how to fix this problem?

Need to disable D-PAD navigation. Use KaiserTweak or AdvanceConfig.

Nice one, thanks ecltech, its all back to normal now. It wasn't a huge problem but it was starting to get annoying. So I’m thankful for you helping me sort this out.

That was the point Grizzley was trying to make - this issue has been asked several (countless times) and keeps getting reposted. He is trying to suggest searching for the answers to your questions before posting - chances are, 90% of your questions have already been answered (at least twice). The last post regarding this issue is on page 2 or 3 so wouldn't have taken much searching.
Sounds pedantic but that at least 1/3 of the 260-ish pages are repeat posts - would make the forum much easier to navigate if everything wasn't repeated so much.
Anyway, welcome to the forum. Guess you'll know next time....
For some reason, I can't access the threads for any of Dutty's roms. About 4/5 tries, I get either a blank screen or an HTTP: 500 error. Does anyone have any ideas? I posted a question in one of them and would like to get the answer!

but every time I try to access a Dutty thread, and *only* when I try to access those threads, I get a blank screen, with the occasional '500' error thrown in for flavor.

It is odd however as there have been a couple of pages recently that I have had that error on - whilst others could access without problems.
I will mention it to Flar the Admin, though she has been unavailable just recently. Post again if it starts working.

I've found something strange - I can't see the threads when I'm signed in, but I can view them fine if I'm not. Have I been blocked from this thread somehow?
What browser are you using? Maybe you can try Firefox or something else.

Firefox, IE, Firefox with the IE plugin.

Internal 500's on threads with a lot of replies
Hi Folks,
I see that this thread is a bit aged now, but I have been having this challenge increasingly more often now - to the point where the thread on Dutty's 4/29 release will never render for me, and it does not seem to be related to my browser (it is a typical Service Unavailable error). Here is the thread:

If someone that can get it to render could reply with the link to posting two or page 1 I guess then it might be interesting to see if that renders.
I doubt that this has anything to do with a browser since it is a 500 error.

Start > Settings > "System" tab > Remove Programs ... ?
that's one of the most non-sensical posts I have ever read.
Really, you might want to consider taking a deep breath and providing some relevant information.
Then we might be able to understand the issue and offer help.
Ok guys, be nice, I think it's a ROM issue, Check which ROM you loaded and go to that thread.

The error you are seing is not of any program but of the ROM. The ROM that you flashed has a time bomb. Past the time and *poof* gone, go into re flash or choose another update from the developer
next time post your concerns in details so others can be of great help around here. With half the info people start flaming each other and get banned from here

If you take your time reading the WIKI and FAQ, it'll be there ..
You know I've installed this and still encountered issues like what he is mentioning.
This file has fixed the issue of weird spacing when typing (such as "I love you" looking like "Il ovey ou" which was extremely frustrating), I've still had the general overall WM "Lag" of when typing, I'm going much faster than the phone can apparently handle, and I just have to wait a second for it to catch up. It will catch up correctly unless I've made typos, but yea I think he is talking about a legit issues that the RR Speed Increase doesn't fix on all roms.

Mine used to do what you are describing, I would get 3 to 4 words ahead of what the screen showed and would have to stop and wait on it to catch up to check for misspelled words.
The way I fixed it on my device was to go to settings/input/word completion and uncheck suggest words when entering text. Since I have taken the word suggestion off I have not had a problem. It keeps up with me just fine now.
thanks boss1234! I was having this same exact problem, and I did try the lag fix as per the other thread and was still encountering the laginiess. Turns out it was caused by the word completion. Unchecked it and now it will actually keep up with me.

Disable T9 ..... search for the cab to make it easy. ALSO , HTC's ez input keyboard also causes many of the lagging issues. All of this has been covered so many times that its annoying to have to answer this for the 10th time. Everyone here is right. Read..... its here.
The little button on the top of your screen brings up a GOOGLE search window. All i typed was " Keyboard Lag Kaiser" and look at allllll these results.
This was so hard

You dont have to be a jerk..as a matter of fact if it annoyed u or erked u tat much..you should have ignored it.
Another case of search before you create a new post. Closing thread as this one is obviously turning nasty and we definitely don't need that...
I think this bug has been reported on the development section.
However it seems there's no fix for it, because all JPY and XWJS3 roms have it.
The bug happens when you're triying to write in any box in the browser. When you tap the box to start writing, the screen is quickly scrolled upwards, hiding the text you are triying to write.
It happens all the time while holding the phone horizontally and sometimes when you hold it vertically.
This issue is very annoying while trying to post a reply in a forum.
Does anyone know how to fix it? .

Trying to type into fields are VERY hit and miss. For example, when browsing to a forum, such as this one, when responding to a thread, try clicking in the field where you type the response; what happens is that the cursor goes WAY up the screen, while you are left staring at the bottom of the blank white space. This happens in any forum. Some forums do not have apps developed for mobile, so it renders it useless.
