Wings sending email over and over again... - HTC Wings

Hi!
I recently upgraded to Alcaline's excellent WM6.1 ROM and so far it has worked really well.
Today one of my colleagues asked me why I was sending him emails over and over again. Apparantly the email client in my Wings kept sending the same email several times.
When I checked, the email was still in the Outbox folder and it was not until I removed it from there that the spamming stopped.
Anyone else experienced a similar thing? I don't know if this has to do with the new ROM or something else.
/Peter

Xpress Mail Problem (upgraded rom)

I upgraded my rom last night to the 2.17 ROM posted on here, and i also set up xpress mail for the first time today to link to my aol email. I can receive emails just fine but when i try to send i get an error 7312 which says it cannot send message and to check the email address and try again. Im certain the address is correct.
Has anyone else had this problem? Is it possible that its linked to upgrading my ROM? Its not a big deal, im just one of those people who when somethings not working it sits in my head and bothers me until i figure out why its not working. Any suggestions?
Nevermind guys, i figured it out. Had to turn authentication on, and put in my aol user name and password in there. Dont i feel like an idiot lol

Cannot send E-mails anymore

Ok then, I have installed two E-mailaccounts on my Diamond. Gmail and my ISP's.
I had the 1.35 ROM and since a week the 1.37 ROM, both times it was no problem to send out mail-messages. All of a sudden, since yesterday's sunday-evening, my Diamond refuses to send out E-mail. On both accounts...and both on Wifi and 3G...
All my settings, even the advanced ones, are correct. Haven't changed them...
Anyone with the same issue? How did you solved it?
The same issue here now: "The message(s) could not be sent. Check ... network coverage ... account information..." I am using a Gmail account. I would like to remove it and create a new one, but haven't figured out how to get rid of the old one. I don't see any fault with the settings or the connections.
Hi. I had the same problem and setting up a new account with a new name as indicated by this thread worked for me.

What a pain if this has to be done every couple of weeks!

Pocket Outlook Partial Emails Being Sent

Hi everyone,
I have searched exhaustively on this forum and via google but cannot find a solution anywhere.
Certain emails that I send via Pocket Outlook are only partially being sent. (longer emails)
Its not an SMTP issue because I have tried 3 different SMTP servers and the same thing is happening.
What is very strange is that the entire messages shows up in the sent folder but when someone else receives it only a paragraph shows up. (I have also sent them to one of my emails to test and they are partially showing up). But what is even odder is that its not with all messages, some are being received fine.
I thought that it could be some kind of font issue but that didn't work.
If someone has any ideas I would be grateful as I use the phone for business and my customers are not receiving full emails so its a big problem for me. Also just to add I am pretty sure this just started happening recently and I haven't changed any settings either.
Thanks again for your replies.

[Q] Email: Connection Error

I've been getting and receiving email fine since I got this thing and, all of a sudden I'm getting a" Connection error" when trying to receive mail. I can still send mail fine. I've deleted and recreated the account in the email app, but that didn't help.
Anyone else come across this error?
did you find a solution mate?
cheers
From what I remember, I deleted the account and recreated it. I think. It was a while ago, but it works now.
