Hi,
I could have sworn I saw somewhere a progam that allowed you to reject a phone call (silence the ringer temporarily) by simply flipping the phone over. So if its sitting on the table face up while you're having supper and the phone rings all you have to do is flip it over face down. I thought this sounded neat but for some reason didnt download it when I saw it. I've been searching for a week and somenow. Does anyone know what it's called? I can see this being really handy if it works with the alarms on the phone as well as I use my phone as a secondary alarm clock.
Thanks guys,
Mute an incoming call

Hmmmm I have this I downloaded it so I could get tomtom to go into portrait mode when it was running. I didn't realize that it was able to do that though.
How abouts do I go about doing that?
Hmm okay I see it in there and tried calling the phone numberous times and flipping it over and the phone continued to ring.
You do not need to download anything. It's a feature of the phone but you need to do a reg edit perhaps. Let me look at my phone....
HKEY_Local_machine/Software/HTC/HTCsensor/gsensor = 0
Also:
HKEY_Local_machine/Software/HTC/phone/facedownmutering = 0
Many say to set it to 1 but mine is working and it is set to 0.
Hope this helps,

hey, mine seems to be lacking the gsensor = 0, the second one is present. i looked thru and it says default string (value not set). i wonder is this line the same for you? or is this where the gsensor is set to 0.
Just download DiamondTweak and then Setting 1.4 enable it.

Disable SMS Received Notification – switch it off if it annoys you
Hkey_current_user\software\microsoft\inbox\settings\SMSDeliveryNotify
Change Dword: 1 0=off
Disable Message Sent Notification
Registry: HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Inbox\Settings
Key: SMSNoSentMsg (dWord)
Value: 0 = disabled
1 = enabled
but both of these keys are not there??
I asume HKLM means HKlocal_machine aswell ?

...if the settings are on a different place try to find them with the search function, b.e. within attached editor. Otherwise you've got to create them yourself...

Hi all the xda guru. Many people like me experienced a problem of HTC Diamond:
In standby mode, if a new SMS comes in. Diamond won't make any sound an vibration even THEY HAVE BEEN SET in the "Sounds & Configuration". I tried to disable the TouchFLO3D, and this problem won't happen again.
Is this a bug? Anyone is developing a fix to this problem?????
Thanks!!!
Yes I have the same problem. The phone won't ALWAYS...but SOMETIMES only vibrate when the screen is off. However, whenever I turn the screen on, it will vibrate and notify me. Just a minor glitch I suppose!
wait for the rom-upgrade. hope allthe problems will be solved..
ok. SMS wake up is disabled by default in registry. thats in HKLM\drivers\builtin\ril
as far as I am remeber. I will confirm soon. that needs to be enabled.
I see the reason for this though:
if you phone wakes up to SMS it shortens the battery life for you.
EDIT:
HKLM\Drivers\BuiltIn\RIL :
DisableSMSWakeUpEvent <-- set to "1" by default. meaning NO wake up to SMS message
Change this value to "0", soft reset you phone and verify that value is correct.
I hope it helps.
P.S. please add this to Diamond Tweaks thread

Thanks man! Is there one for email..or?
it supposed to FLASH LIGHT for you for 5 minutes by default instead of waking up phone to that.. that should be logically enough to alert you. If it does not, I would also add to that:
Settings-->Sound and notifications-->Notifications -->Messaging: New e-mail message:
1. Play sound (choose one) or even repeat as well.
2. Display message on Screen
I hope it helps.

I can confirm this. On new email the light flashes. But now, for me, suddenly it doesn't, anymore (it flashes AFTER I turn it on which makes not too much sense). Can anybody help? I think I checked everything and also I didn't change a setting. Somehow it does not react to new email until I switch it on. Of course I only use standby and not turn it off completely with long push on the button.
Regards,
Frank

Are there any fixes for this yet? Having to turn the phone on (out of sleep) to see if there are emails when it should alert you makes auto email retrieval kinda pointless.
Wake on e-mail!

Wakeup on e-mail.
Is there a way to wake-up the Diamond when i get an email message?
So far I have to check manually if there is email. No wake-up, no sound.
I hope there is a way...

SMS Timestamp Fix
Hey Guys,
Where's the fix for the SMS timestamps. My time is about 4 hours off!
Anyone!?!?!?
Im having the same problem...Maybe Im going to call HTC later today.
For some reason the text messages that I receive are all off by 4h, while the ones I send are correct. My date/time and region is all correct also. and my time zone is GMT-7 Mountain Time. Can anyone help me please this is really annoying
Have you connected your phone to your pc/laptop??...once i did that the phone time and date were synched correctly and i havent had that problem ie sms texts time stamp is off.
If that doesnt solve it then soft reset the phone...it may solve your problem.
i've done both actually... its weird
Try this fix:
I am on Rogers in Canada, and I had a similar problem. This fixed it.
1) Goto HKLM/SOFTWARE/OEM/PhoneSetting
2) Add DWORD Value 'TrustTimeZoneField'
3) Set value = 0
I am also having this problem..Fido in canada...both 1.35 and 1.37 ROMs...4hrs early

For those users interested to find a solution to disable the curtain, here is the package. Could be a dll or a registry key.
Found a solution
Found a solution with reg key.
Goto HKLM\Software\HTC\Phone\Cover
There is a DWORD value ResumeInterval set to 5000 (5secs).
I changed it 300000 (5mins) and soft-reset.
Now the call starts with slider on, you only need to slide down once. Then it will wait for 5 mins of inactivity to come back up.
Probably higher values can be used, but 5mins should work for me.
As always, modify registry at your own risk...

I had zero issue with the standard one, it was functional and did exactly as one would expect. Topaz dialer hides all options instantly making it absolutely dangerous to try and activate loudspeaker whilst driving . The other issue is landscape view, if using any rotate screen app and having the device in landscape (ie. whilst using GPS apps etc) and receiving a call there is no dialer shown at all!
Surely I am not the only one to notice these problems?
thanks man it helped
