Hello all, I finally got my TOM TOM up and running on my TILT along with the entire n America maps. My buddy has a TILT also and we used TOM TOM buddy to find each other. I was under the impression you could track each other live. Its not realtime.. Damn that would have been sweet. It just updates the last time they were using satelites and allows you do download their last location. It is what it is I guess.
so.... does an app exist where you can track another GPS enabled device?
Search for "TrackMe"
Is search broken>?? No results for trackme.... I have been searching broad subjects with no results.
Try http://mologogo.com/
This might be one you are looking for

Tom Tom, google maps isn't a real GPS app. Neither is Live Search.
Navizon has a buddy feature that you can assign a Group, and have people add themselves to that particular group and be "visible". I haven't tried it yet, but it's there.
I'm going out to the Valley of Fire this weekend and wanted to find a good, free mapping program. I already have Google Maps and Live Search but they don't really show terrain very well. I know there's a particular word for it but I'm having a mental block. Any help is appreciated..
Thanks.
un fortunately the majority of gps software is cahrgeable nowadays. I dont know if you have already checked this but google maps does have a satellite view which can help a bit. Other than that I dont think there is anything. At least not to my knowledge
have you tried GPS Tuner http://www.gpstuner.com/ not exactly free but they have a trial you can download.
Hi gang,
I've made the switch from a HTC S730 to a Tytn II, and i'm enjoying the phone more & more, but there are still some gaps i need to fill.
One of the things i'd like to do is use the GPS together with a note-taking (or dictating) application to make small notes of things i encounter on my walks, has anyone ever heard of such an application?
Another thing i've yet to find is a nice site with themes for this phone, i'd love a theme that has a (much) smaller HTC Home plugin, the watch alone takes up way too much space, any pointers?
the only thing the comes close to your first request is GPS2Clipboard
GPS Tuner is a very good offroad GPS app, you can save a waypoint in 2 clicks and write a description when saving. The description should be passed on when you export to Google Earth and such, but I've never tried. You might want to download the trial and see if it suits you.
Try NoniGPSplot? Thats a nicely featured tracking application which plots your travels on a self-imported map, which in turn you can export to eg, Google Earth -gives a great effect of zooming into your track. Freeware but I liked it so much I made a donation.
Anyways, re voice notes: yes, NoniGPSplot can record record voice memos attached to a GPS location. I havent used that feature yet though.
Thx for the tips, i'll try them out
Hello. I have been searching the internet, without any luck though of finding the programs i want.
First, i want a program, like ShopSavvy is for the Android, where i can use it on my touch pro to scan barcodes of products and find the best price.
Second, i am wondering if there is a way to have Google Street View on the touch pro. I have already seen KDKobes Google Maps Street View 2.3.1, from our forum. I was wondering though if there is an "official" or "fully working" program, as in KDJobes program unfortunately, location-data support and GPS integration aren’t working with this version of Google Maps.
Third, i want a program, like I-phone has, for Drinks (bartender?), same cool skins and graphics environment maybe?
Fourth, again like I-phone has a program where you record a song on the phone and then it goes through the internet and finds you possible matches.
Please, bare with me, as i a m new and maybe i didn't have enough luck or "easiness" finding these type of programs i want. Yes maybe i saw some "looking like them but weren't afterwards the programs i wanted, cause their functionality wasn't after all what i was searching for and was mislead by their Title Name.
So if you please know any "freeware/ or have to buy" programs that are exaclty as the one's i have described please feel free to post and tell me.
Thank you very much in advance,
Chris
let's see
1. barcode readers:
i-nigma barcode reader
QuickMark 3.3
Aura - but donno if this still works.....
2. Street view is officially supported by the latest Google Maps
http://www.google.com/mobile/default/maps.html
3. didn't heard of such a program for wm
4. i know a program it's called Music ID
hope that helps try to search harder next time
search diamond beer for a drink app that turns your phone into a glass of alcohol , if you mean a bartender then just do more searching also the site Fuzemobility.com is now your best friend go there all the time look at everything there . if you still haven changed ROMS on your phone i suggest you go get NRG's new winmo6.5 build 3.0 ROM . it has alot of improvements over the stock ROM , anymore questions just ask me
Is there an app that uses the GPS to track how much you've cycled and your speed etc? I think such apps exist for the iPhone but I'm looking for something for windows mobile.

Shop savvy is a great program. Our closest thing is "Barcoroma"
Google street view. I use google maps from NRG'z Rom and I can get street view on it.
Drinks IDK your on you own for this one

Where does everyone go to get there the PPC software?
I go to http://www.pocketpcfreewares.com/en/index.php, although its not complete list and new releaase of an application can take a couple of days to make it to thier site. I find the site easy to navigate and search. The catagories and rating system help for filtering.
about the drink mix
i suggest watching this topic http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=496880&highlight=drinks
perhaps something will be done.
Hi guys ...
anybody know a good software which basically provides you with the information / service you normally get on the TFL website? I m not just looking for an app that tells you if there is good service on all lines but ideally an app where u can ask how to get from A to B and it shows you which tube or bus to take.
I googled for it and there are quite a few apps. from different companies and they all cost money too. Anybody know an alternative? If you think about it all you need is a application that connects to the search function of the tfl website.
would be a cool panel too if somebody wants to write it.
Let me know
