Translation if anyone wants:
HERMIA
I'm completely dumbfounded by what you're saying. I'm not insulting you. It sounds more like you're insulting me.
HELENA
Come on, confess. Didn't you send Lysander, as an insult, to follow me around praising my eyes and my face? Haven't you made your other love, Demetrius—who kicked me with his foot not long ago—call me a goddess and a divine, rare, precious, heavenly creature? Why does he talk like that to a girl he can't stand? And why does Lysander deny that he loves you, when he loves you so deeply? Why would he show me any affection, unless you told him to? Why does it matter that I'm not as lucky or lovable as you are and that the love I feel is unrequited? You should pity me for that reason, not hate me.
HERMIA
I don't know what you're talking about.
HELENA
Oh, fine. All right, go ahead, keep up your little game, pretend to be sympathetic, but then nudge each other and wink and make faces at me when I turn my back. Keep up your wonderful game. You're doing such a good job on this trick, someone should write a book about it. If you had any sense of pity, or manners, you wouldn't pretend to fight over me like this. But goodbye. It's partly my own fault, since I followed you here. Leaving—or dying—will soon take care of everything.
LYSANDER
Stay, lovely Helena. Listen to my excuse. My love, my life, my soul, beautiful Helena!

Well, I think I understand the context/background of the situation. But as far as the (general) "purposes" of this excerpt, I don't really know. Are you asking what the purpose or meaning of this section is as pertaining to the entire play, or just a more general meaning of this?

I hated most of his writings (i liked some of the plots, but the writing was just too much). I see a lot of people holding the Sparknotes translation for this stuff and believe me, it works. You can also go online and find the translation, it's amazing. I see that you've got the translation, but Sparknotes will help you dig deeper.

Haha, good. I live off of Sparknotes. I have a huge essay due tomorrow (not Shakespear though) that was assigned over a month and a half or so again. I haven't even read the book yet (in fact, i just chose that i'll be reading Moby **** isntead of Pride an Prejudice). Guess who'll be on Sparknotes all night?

"I'm an idiot!" moment...

I've just spent last 10 minutes trying to login here. Everytime i inputed confused my username and pass, i got the "thank you for logging in" screen, and the next screen was the usual forum screen, but unlogged. And i kept doing it a couple more times. I already thought the board is going down, and after trying everything i could, i looked at the address bar. Turns out while i was looking at that french topic about blackstone games that was translated via google or smth else, i clicked one of the links to xda there, and kept on reading xda from the translator. Only, there was no google in sight, just plain old xda. Weird.
And i feel so dumb right now
And i feel so dumb about posting this thread, but i have to. The very first thing i thought about after the incident was "I have to start a thread about this"
Anyone else had an "I'm an idiot" moment lately?

Hi. My name's Stuart, and I'm an idiot.
Took my bike for an MOT this morning (Thunderace, if you're interested). As the tester rode it onto the apparatus past me I noticed the rear shock squeaked a bit - hadn't noticed it before with a helmet on, windblast and the bulk of the bike blocking the noise from the drivers seat. All through the test, I was as nervous as an expectant father, was the examiner going to find something wrong that I hadn't forseen? Was there going to be some new strange test that the bike failed? Eventually, the tester came over to me and said it had passed.
Why did I then find myself saying "So the squeak from the shock wasn't a problem?"?!?!
He hadn't heard it but me asking prompted him to spend 5 minutes more examining it to find out if it was a problem or not!
That's my "I'm an idiot" moment for the day. I'm sure I'll be back tomorrow with another....

Who is Cyanogen?

Steve Kondik? I guess. Android Guru? No doubt.
I've taken a glance at his twitter thing. Says he's a snowboarder and trancer. I stopped there to avoid any semblances to "cyber stalking".
But really, who is this guy? I mean, at first, I get an image of this suave, debonair, sun-glasses-wearing-even-though-its-dark playboy by day and closet android-dev by night. I mean, how could he not be the Bruce Wayne of xda, as cool as his roms are.
But then i get to thinking about it.
He must work on this stuff tirelessly, sometimes endlessly to get updates up as quick as he sometimes does. Not to mention he's twittering and updating a blog. I'm not much of a "social networker" but I can imagine how time consuming this must all be. Is my image of cyanogen a.k.a Steve unrealistic? Is he really some middle-aged, balding, white-guy with a beer belly and cheetoh stains on his three-day old white-tee, sitting at his desk of 7 computer screens with his big slurp in one hand and typing furiously on his three ergonomic keyboards with the other?
I should hope not.
I really wanted to post this in the "Dream" boards but as this is not "related to any phone" I thought I better do right and put it in here.
And guys, really, I mean this:
With All Due Respect.

That description can fit almost any deserving geek/nerd so I think you will have to go into more detail......
I'm just sayin'... Is he Bruce Wayne or is he this guy. I don't think we can ever really know, unless he himself comments on this thread. I'm not really all that interested in knowing either Just a random thought that crossed my mind and that I wanted to share with the community. I don't really every have much to say in the dream boards, as you can see by my post count.
and what does any of that have to do with marlon brando :S
cyanogen quote
"Im am you father"
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h6sj89xgnl4
Marlon Brando, THE Godfather, who will just as soon buy you dinner as blow your brains out, but "with all due respect". Come on guy!
Only one will "make you an offer you can't refuse"
Some say he naturally faces magnetic north, and that all of his legs are hydraulic... all we know is, he's called Cyanogen.
Some say that his politics are terrifying, and that he once punched a horse to the ground... all we know is, he's called Cyanogen.
Some say he's wanted by the CIA, and that he sleeps upside down like a bat... all we know is, he's called Cyanogen.
Haha, the Stig, I love it!
Some say that if he ate a sausage his brain would implode, and that he is wanted in 251 countries for indecent exposure, all we know is, he's called Cyanogen...
Some say that his genitals are on upside down, and that if he could be bothered with it, he could crack the Da Vinci Code in 43 seconds.
Some say he knows two facts about ducks, and both of them are wrong.
If you have five dollars and Cyanogen has five dollars, Cyanogen has more money than you.
He once had an awkward moment, just to see what it felt like.
Even though he's had sex with every woman on the planet, he is still a virgin. Nobody takes ANYTHING from cyanogen.
Let's avoid the Chuck Norris references >.<
I like the magnetic north one though
This thread sure has taken an awkward turn... lol but I guess I didn't quite know what to expect.
Some say he isn’t machine washable, and all his potted plants are called Steve.

Weird attractions anyone?

For some weird reason Chernobyl district is attracting me like a magnet. It even came to my dreams several times!
I was growing up in Ukraine, about 65 miles away from the Chernobyl. My mom once told me that teachers forced them to go wash radioactive trains from Chernobyl, if they refused - their exam scores would be Fails. I was reading something last night, and found some interesting info, which would be very educative for all of you:

I believe that she have done great job! She rode her bike all over that place, and it was done years before the "gates of Chernobyl" were finally open!

Most of my ex girlfriends to be honest!
I think that is a common attraction.
I really want to go to Pripyat. My life wont be complete without going there.
BTW, I was born in Poland, but I'm stuck in the States so Pripyat is pretty far.
(For anyone thinking what Pripyat is, it's the city where all the workers of Chernobyl worked, and the nearest city to Chernobyl, google it)
Another thing I want to see which is closer from home is the Freedom Tunnel. It's a train tunnel in NYC which was closed in the 80s and was home to bums and graffiti artists.
It is a remarkable story. Not so much that there was a nuclear accident, although that is remarkable in itself, but the stories of the people involved in the aftermath and the survivors who lived through a nightmare.
Pripyat would be a unique place to visit

wow this goes to show you i was wasted when i made this thread because i don't remember making it lol
Still, if anyone is interested, check me out
lol Did it intentionally guys. The point is to check it out, and base an impression for yourself
:face palm: ill further explain why i dont like divulging it right off the bat. I say Rock, someone immediately is going to assume i worship the devil and not click it, if i say rap someone is going to assume im a drugged out low life with no ambitions in his basement with a pipe dream and not click it, i say country then i go bareback and not click it. (lol)
so id rather let the music/lyrics speak for themselves.
but for this threads sake, i rap, produce instrumentals and ghostwrite for other artist in my area
Honestly, im always down to joke around in a forum. Im a Mod on clubcivic.com and im not a hard ass when it comes to random talk in a thread but you guys are acting stupid now. My policy, if you dont have anything nice to say then dont say anything at all. Same priciple of what your doing is the same as if I were to walk into every thread about aosp and give the op a hard time because aosp roms are, not my thing.
Reported for it to be cleaned/deleted.
As the OP says above, if you don't want to click the link or talk about the topic at hand then just don't say anything. Keep it on-topic please

Haha actually... the game is kind of backwards! It's a modern interpretation of the well known story. In the story they go east, in our game they head west!

That's great. And yes... the hot air balloon level is actually very difficult. I tested today with a German friend, but she couldn't get past that one either. And German is very similar to Dutch. But understanding those sentences quick enough is just impossible when you can't read Dutch.
So don't feel bad about it.
How does Dutch sound to you?
