Windows Live f*cked up my phone

Hello,,
I recently got myself a HTC Touch Diamond (i absolutly love it!) but i made one big big mistake. That mistake was logging into Windows Live, it made my phone completly f*cked up. It added all my MSN contacts to the phonebook and configured my Hotmail Mailbox. I didnt want this all and now im wondering how to fix it?
I would like to uninstall Windows Live but couldnt find out how to do. My Phone book is a big mess and when i try to disable synchronize in Windows Live its greyed out

When you set it up, and it had the option for "Sync conacts" and then "Merge contacts" etc, maybe you should have actually read that and unticked them?
You can still turn this off in the settings.
For clarification, when you say it completely ****ed your phone, that makes it sounds like Live bricked it.

Just reset the phone and do what above told you. I dide the same thing so i know how it feels. but just lern life and lern by mistakes and dont dop it again. Or you will have to clean upp after yourself again so to speak

Touch screen dead??!

I tried to install something on the phone, and it restarted my phone all of a sudden and now the touch screen doesnt work at all!! &/#& im pissed. Anyone know what i can do? I dont wanna lose my data!! I can press the physical buttons, go to home screen etc, but i cant touch and go anywhere else. Only to the sides on the physical buttons. Argh! What can i do, am i the first one to experience this crap? Im frustrated

Try a Hard Reset

Yeah , but as i said i dont want to lose the data on the phone. I wish there was something else to do. Nobody knows if theres a way to get past this without losing data that is not on the internal storage, and all the tweaks i have made etc

you should still be able to connect via active sync and explore your device to retrive data?

Do as Windoze suggests and after that do a hard reset!

Man.. Not my lucky day. I just lost internet connection for an hour. I took what i could and did a hard reset. Now i have to tweak everything again from start and all the settings changes i made before Thanks for helping, nonetheless!

How do i update to a newer ROM?

Search, nub. HardSPL then flash the ROM, walkthroughs are all over the forum.

Im gonna go with the HardSPL mentioned in the guide you gave me. OliNex. I hope there is no major difference between the HardSPL's out there, that would make this a stupid choice for the official 1.93 danish ROM

Yeah. Although im not on that crapsite anymore. I think i got this going right now. Just waiting for my phone to charge as i read that it should have more than 50% charge on it. Flying Trickster is a somewhat popular name on the worldwideweb, too, though

I flashed with the official 1.93 ROM, and installed everything back on. Changed every single tweak i had made etc etc. My god it took a while. But i must admit. The 1.93 rom is wicked fast compared to the old one

Hello guys, i really need your help!
My phone is so strange now, i have been using Ultimate-X.V9 -21054, but in last days, my phone has gone to white screen some times when i press to screen up sometimes everything is fine, but others not and my phone sometimes dont respond to my touch, and sometimes is a bit slow
Now i have flashed to RUU_Kaiser_HTC_PTG_3.28.410.0_radio_sign_25.83.40.02_1.65.17.56_Ship, during the upgrade my phone stay on tree colors, but on computer appeared the status bar! and everythime i turn on my phone now is like 90% is allways white :O i have open my phone, and reconected all again, but the problem still there! im using 3.34 hard spl!
Please someone help meee... i really love my tytn2 is there any way to put this fine? its hard spl problem?

Please help meee My phone now is more slow than normal :/

That happened to me a while back, I took it apart several times and checked connections etc. but that did not fix it. I ended up buying a new LCD off of ebay which fixed it perfectly. So, I would suggest doing that (I bought one for 15USD used).

But this to me seems to be a problem on the main board, because the phone sometimes gets really slows And sometimes that white problem appears and others not, like 90% when i need to use my phone

Flash Stock ROM?
Did you flash if back to a OEM ROM? Did it work OK if you left it on the OEM ROM? I have used "Kaiser_HTC_ASIA_HK_WWE_3.34.721.2" as a OEM to upgrade from on many phones that I had upgrade issues with.

i think RUU_Kaiser_HTC_PTG_3.28.410.0_radio_sign_25.83.40. 02_1.65.17.56_Ship is an OEM rom isnt? :x

dude the answer is yes go ask in the flashing for newbs thread, or one of the other great links in the thread i posted. maybe you should read better the rules about starting new threads because you are having a flash related problem that needs to be asked in a thread already setup to deal with flash related matters instead of starting a new thread.
have you tried pushing the hard buttons to get into bootloader? do you think MTTY may help your current problem?

Dude i can enter on bootloader yes, can i use my phone yes! but the problem is that sometimes (i mean, like all the time) the screen stay white when i turn it on, and the phone stays slow!!!!

i have tried that rom too, but nothing the problem is here

It sounds like your Screen is on the way out. I would replace it.
No lets play nice. Or Ill break out the fish heads lol

Well, if is about the screen, i can say im safe :x
But one thing on my mind, the white screen i could say to change the screen to one new, but the problem is the kaiser stay a bit slow, and sometimes it dont respond to what i want!
With that stay thinking that the problem is about the mainboard or something like that :s but i hope the problem is the screen, i will buy a new on ebay

The ribbon cable for the digitizer (touch screen) attaches to the LCD, and then both signals feed through the same cable into the D-pad board, so its possible that there is a bad connection somewhere in the LCD/Digitizer assembly that causes it to not sense your inputs, even when the LCD itself is working. Mine just failed completely to a white screen and did not come back. It could be something besides the LCD..try flashing a new HardSPL and/or a different ROM, but if I had to bet, I would bet on the LCD.

P4k1t0, I know you're frustrated that you phone doesnt work, but do not get uppity at the other forum posters. If you sound off against msd24200 and a mod sees it, its likely to lock your topic.

i had the same situation two weeks back after i flash with my own cooked rom.
what i did is flash the stock rom through SD/storage card and everything is fine.
you already try this method ? you can search on how to flash from SD/storage card

to flash by sd card? ok ok i will try it right now to see

Need Help Please!

I rooted, Installed CWM, via the Verizon Zimage, tried out spacemoose's Version of Honeycomb (CDMA Build 2.5), Played with it for a few days, was awesome, however missed having my 3G so I used the EA24 flasher, got it back up, still no 3G, tried a few other flashing tools, while wiping each time in between, started 1 last flash right before bed, went to sleep, and apparently the battery died...
Has been plugged into wall now for roughly 1 hour, and occasionally the phone to pc icon flashes on...then back off, I read somewhere here before about taking it apart and charging the battery...but now can't seem to find the post, I have allready removed the back, so I can see the battery, and it's 5 pin connector, just need to know what to do now to charge the battery....any help?
It's the Sprint Version of the galaxy tab, if that helps any.

Bypass patter lock without wiping?

I hate these threads because I always assume the device is stolen, but in this case my friend left his S10 here last night and I cannot access his phone book to let him know where it is (He won't remember)
I can't reset it because it has all his pics on it

Wait, why not just call or text him from your phone? Why do you need his phone contacts to let him know? Sorry to attack you like this but to me it looks shady and I'm pretty sure he'll notice losing a 1000€ phone

Not to point out the obvious, but if the OP has the persons phone, calling it would just ring the phone that he already has and can't unlock.

Oh come on. This really doesn't sound legit too me at all.
Go to your friends home and give him his phone? Call their landline if they have one and tell them? Call your other friends and ask if they have details of how to let them know you have the phone?
I see absolutely no benefit of unlocking your friends phone, which in fact would not help at all.
