Few additional questions before I go to wm5

Hi guys, ok I smashed my alpine screen but backed it up to a file on my pc but cant import it to my BA as it says it is a different device.
But I would like to upgrade to WM5, so I read the wiki best I could and to be honest didnt make much of it.
but just a few questions.
1.) Am i right in thinking that Helmi BA WM2k5 AKU3.5 (v.1.4 beta) is the best/most stable version at the mo?
2.) Can I revert back to wm2003 if i change my mind?
3.) Its a SPVM2000 do I have to get a specific version for that? Plus do I need to use any tools to flash the ba or is it just a .exe?
4.) will tomtom6 still work with my Bluetooth gps device?

Every version of WM5 has its problem. You can begin with Helmi's one -> good idea.

Up from WM5 to WM6 or 6.1

can anyone tell me if i can upgrade my trinity to WM6 from 5, HTC on their website have a rom upgrade but that is pointless as i was still left with WM5 after downoading it, how do i get WM6 or 6.1 on my phone.

ipl spl updaten 1.01 under wm6.1 or how to get back to wm5?

hello to all,
i have updated may wizard to wm6.1 (WM 6.1 German Build 20273), but my wlan doesnt´t work and i think it is because perhaps i didn´t upgrade ipl/spl from 1.01
is it possible to get back to wm5 with a wizard? with an mda pro it is possible, but with a wizard i don´tknow
it would be nice, if someone could help me.

I own a Qtek 9100 (G3) with OS Windows Mobile 5.0, would it be possible to upgrade to version 6.5 of Windows Mobile. How? There are real improvements with S.O 6.5?

Hi,
I am a happy owner of a Qtek 9100 which originally had Windows Mobile 5.0 ITA.
course and following the upgrade guide I proceeded on my PocketPC (G3) with "Windows 6.1 beta 2 carbonara" I have to say is very stable.
The only thing I noticed is that after you upgrade your phone with the first ROM so I changed the values IPL and SPL but I do not put them equal, and that is me put them IPL 1.01 to 1.06 SPL I tried to upgrade 3 times and always successful but the values are always different.
So finally I decided to continue, I unlocked the CID with a dedicated tools and since I could not find a good link for the ROM T-LOVE I decided to directly load the ROM of Windows 6.1 to carobonara.
The procedure was successful and the phone is a bomb. I am very satisfied with this ROM, but my question now is:
I find myself with these values
IPL 1.01
SPL 1.06
gsm 01.12.10
OS. 4.0.0.
And 'normal IPL and SPL or need to be in the same? Is there a way to update only those? And from now on I can load any other ROM widzard for G3 even those with Windows 6.5?

you can update from 5.0 to 6.5 directly. .

Help me whit a Qtek 9100
Hello. Can I use the Wizard Service too Qtek 9100l to change only one OS version from version 5.1 to 6.1 without change for SPL or IPL? I have a G4. Somebody help me to change the version in Windows Mobile 6.1 software. I mean this way can not use an upgrade program like "ROMUpdateUtility_Wizard_NoID.exe" because the connection to USB phone is down after the restart in Bootloader. Thanks in advance.

yes,actually i have a qtek a9100 or htc wizard with windows mobile 6.5,and i think i´m very lucky because the rom works perfect! i downloaded from here,but i dont remember which one exactly,but leave me a message so i can send you by e-mail or something

Recently I just bought the HTC Herald and realized that it needed to be upgraded. How and where can I get this upgrade cause I been searching high and low and to no avail...

When you run hardspl before flaahing, you can update with every rom. 6.5 is a good choice, because its more stable and faster than the old roms.
