I had an idea but since I don't know how capable the Tilt is...
I have seen the Logitech mini-Dinovo keyboard and wonder instead can I use the Tilt's keyboard to power my home PC. ex: start songs, control volume, etc. Anyone have any ideas?
I havent tried it but http://www.jaylee.org/remotecontrol/ looks to be what you need
I use salling clicker for my mac and all works well there. I dont know it salling has keyboard support on the windows side but it may.
Here is the link for salling
Or you just can use VNC thru wifi
GRemote

Thanks
I will try the all of your recommendations and let you know my outcome. Thanks Again!
GRemote is great.
I have been using the GRemote program through IP and it has been great. Great connection and easily setup that I haven't even tried the bluetooth. The touchpad is a little sensitive but it works well enough to get around the screen. Take a look its a great program!

Does anybody know of a program that could turn the kaiser into a remote for windows? I would like to use the touchscreen as a trackpad (like on laptops) and the keyboard to control my HTPC.
I found a program that does exactly that but it doesn't work with windows mobile 6. And I'm not completely sure the keyboard function works. It is called PPC tablet remote control suite (http://www.aacompserv.com/AACompWeb/Modules/PPCTablet/WhatIsIt.aspx)
Thank you!
i can suggest a bluetooth remote control:
http://www.jaylee.org/RemoteControl/
it does the trackball part, but not the keyboard part.
I saw that one previously...but did not try it. Thanks for the help! I still can't believe something like that doesn't exist yet...guess I'll have to wait for PPC tablet to update if nothing else comes up
Hi all
Got a problem i have been trying to get to the bottom of for a couple of weeks now. Using LOGMEIN the virtual keyboard does not input any letters onto my home PC. The only virtual keyboard inputs that have an effect are enter and del.
Not sure where the problem lies as i could use my kaiser sucessfully, and i can also use my diamond on a different PC without trouble.
The problem is when using my diamond on my home PC.
The windows remote desktop software that comes with the diamond works fine, but i dont like using it because the resolution changes on my home PC mess up the icon layout (resizes from a 1920x1200 to 640x480)
any insight you could share would be appreciated.

Hi Dave,
I heavily depend on Logmein and use it a lot laptop>desktop but not as much on the mobile though it has saved me a few times.
Bear with me and I'll log in once I get my diamond up and running - just did rom update.
I'll report back shortly though from memory, when I logged in last week, it worked fine as I was able to enter my password for logging onto windows.
OK same issue here in IE
I couldnt use Opera properly so I can't test in there
Is it an option for you to create a special login on your PC for Remote Desktop logins from your Diamond. That would allow you to login and not mess up your icons?
Ive been using Logmein on HTC3300 for a while and found that as long as you dont change resolution on phone icons stay in place.

hi akash,
did you manage to test logmein on your diamond?
I have since read of other people with the same problem as me so it would be good if we ould compare phone/pc setup if yours is working and help identify the problem.

I have the same problem here. But if you (before you startup logmein) change the keyboard to the standard one of MS mobile 6.1 everything works fine! I really love logmein on 640x480 using my diamond ;-)
excuse the pun but you are a diamond, now its working.
im replying to you via logmein on my diamond
the ms keyboard is very small though :/
thanks

When I'm logged on my provider website, I'm able to send sms. Maybe you should try that...
Mymobiler works okay, but a bit slow though because of the screen lag.
Hi,
I use one of the Jeyo products. You can use mobile extender or companion. I think the companion works just great. Do a google search for jeyo and it's the first to pop up.
My Mobiler is the best for me !!
MyMobiler works very fine!
I use pocket controller for this, whit this program you have total controll over your phone, make a bluetooth connection and operate your phone from your pc.

Sounds a bit like Mymobiler, though Mymobiler doesn't have that BT connection option... Would you mind sharing some screen shots of Pocket Controller?

Hi, I have tried searching for something like this for a while now, both in the forums and on the web.
So, for the question. I want to use my onboard keyboard on the X1 to control my PC, preferably via bluetooth. So when i press a key on my X1 keyboard my PC will register the same keystroke.
Is this possible, and have anyone seen a software or product similar or exact as i am describing?
Kind regards
Lemuren
sure it's possible

did this search
first I came across this one which does the opposite
http://www.trancreative.com/rkb.aspx
then I found this which seem to do what you are looking for
http://www.freewarepocketpc.net/ppc-download-gremote-gmouse.html
you can use my search to find more if this one is not to your liking
Well thank you kind sir, I knew this was the right place to get a good answer.

lemuren, i was also searching for a bluetooth keyboard / mouse program on my x1. I've found a program called Mobile Remote: http://www.mobilesrc.com/MobileRemote.aspx, that emulates a Human interface device. The advantage of this is, you don't need any drivers because windows and other operating systems already support these kind of devices. It's even possible to use the x1 keyboard and mouse on a Playstation 3!

I just downloaded this app yesterday and tested it on my Vaio Laptop. It appears that the physical keyboard works but it is always in FN mode (blue square button), so I end up typing the symbols and numbers instead of the letters. Wondering if there is a way to disable this when using the physical qwerty. The touch screen keyboard works well, but I would rather type with the actual keyboard.
Hello, guys.
It works!
Any luck figuring out how to fix the issue /disable the blue square on the physical keyboard?
thanks a lot

Nope, no luck. I found that the other program works better than Gremote (uses a server on the PC, so is more advanced). So if you want to setup the mobile as a mouse the MobileRemote is the better one.
Anybody hear of any apps that can let you use your android device like a Cintiq tablet? Seems to me that a larger Android Tablet would make a good drawing tool for Photoshop...
If you search for RemoteDroid in the aopp store it lets you use your captivate as a touch-pad. you install a client on your PC and the communication is over WiFi. That is as close as I've seen to what you are loking for, but I wouldn't use it as a drawing pad.
Thanks, I found that one, and I agree with you. Good as a mouse program, but not for drawing.
Although even as a mouse program, I can't imagine a scenario where I would choose to use my phone over a standard keyboard and mouse
what about wm 6.5?
