Hi, I am currently on Tmobile (UK) MyFaves plan, with unlimited web 'n' walk. If I purchase the phone off ebay and use it, it should be fine, right?
Please confirm or tell me otherwise.
Thanks and Merry Xmas

Patience padawan, someone will when they have something useful to post. Shameless bumping will only serve to get your thread locked or yourself ridiculed.

Unfortunately, I needed the information quickly which is why I bumped, but I FINALLY got help at another forum
Perhaps you would have gotten a quicker answer had you posted your question in a T-Mobile forum and not a Phone Hardware forum...
There is no TMobile UK Forum, and as I am from the UK, US help would be useless
Customer service is just a call away and a MUCH better resource than a hardware forum.
Regardless though, don't get pissy when a hardware forum doesn't answer a customer service question.

Why have you re-asked this question in the Kaiser General forum without any explanation?
It is against Forum Rules for one thing, and it doesn't make any sense for another. Why would we know what to do?

Something to do with the massive amount of replies/help I received from the first one and knowing that the kaiser is of a very similar setup and will use all the same connections settings ... massive thanks for your help.
DaveShaw- This just isn't a good day for you. ;o)
OP- Using your logic you could just post your question to all of the other device forums so good luck keeping track of all of the replies. You could also call the O2 customer support folks and ask them. Might be more constructive. Or, see if there is a forum on the O2 website. Or Google. But I agree with DaveShaw, why the h3ll did you post your Raphael question here?

Mitch- I don't understand what payg means but it souds like "sucks to be you".
got it sorted
Alright folks, Touch 3G SIM Unlocker sorted, enjoy the usual boilerplate text:
1) contributing forum members & Elite Team donators... Request a free unlock with your IMEI & email. - if you have an account that has a) existed for a good few months and b) you actually contribute to the site (technical wizardy, or general helpfulness - CONSISTENT AND REGULAR POSTING), then just drop me a message and it's yours, if you don't meet both a) and b) then don't bother - having an account that you rarely posted from is NOT in the least bit interesting.
2) everyone else (new accounts/unregistered/sod all posts, this means you): Get SIM unlocked Here
edit: if some email to Olipro gets lost - use the support link (this one http://jade.htc-unlocks.com/unlockersupport.php), that page will send the message to both Olipro and cmonex, and thus is not likely to get lost.

Thanks, not sure I fall within category 1. So I have paid for an unlock code. Thanks for providing this facility.
Just want to add: some unlocking sites say they supply unlock code, how come you do not supply a code and instead supply this?
What if the phone is already hardspl'd? What is the difference between 2.32.etc and 1.00JADE?
the Hard-SPL included is no different from the one on the Jade thread.
codes come from databases "acquired" from providers.
any chance anyone knows how to unlock mitac mio a701 ? i got it from ebay for spare parts for my dad's mio, but we never used it, so its in the drawer now, locked to orange Israel. might as well sell it.
sorry for this post, i know it doesnt fall into this category at all, but just thought id give it a try
What d'ya mean off topic... ??
Remember having sucha device some time ago (great device but the phone function was a real pain in the butt); maybe you can find a solution over here:

if you *do* get the problem - then straight away, just download the latest package from our thread and use that instead, then once done, move on to step 2.

you're wrong. I just used olipro's package and it worked just fine.
You must be doing something wrong.
Follow his tip. I had the same "data corrupted" so I downloaded and manually installed hardspl then used olipro's package from button 2 onward.
worked fine.
Be sure to have internet connection and no antivirus/firewall just in case.
good luck!
and thanks Olipro!
PS. This is sure to work, if you don't trust olipro's knowledge just sell your windows mobile phone... for christ sake he gave us hard spl...

Hi,
Sorry but you make a fuss over nothing. When I sell something I take responsibility for this. And if someone ask me about something I answer and I am trying to help. Olipro didn't answer. Ignored me. That's it.
This tread should be closed.

I answered you in public, so not only could you see it, so could everyone else, I specifically asked you if you still had the problem because funnily enough, I couldn't find anything from you, so I think a public reply is pretty clear cut.
Ok, first of all, I searched, read the sticky's and have not been able to find any info on this:
Is there an XDA-Dev/chef/modder/{insert other titles here} that provides Unlocking services?
Yeah, I know I can google all over the place and find services that will unlock my G1, but I had an HTC Fuze (Raphael) and rather than using one of those services, I paid someone here to do it. You guys here offer a lot, I can't afford to donate as much as I want, but the least I can do is when I can pay for a service, is see if someone here can provide it and spend my money with a community that gives me so much as it is.
Thanks!
Theres a guy on the sapphire general thread giving away three codes a week for the sapphire. He may sell it to you. Most of the time I tell people to Ebay it. Have you contacted your provider yet?

No one on here does it, you can go to or call T-Mobile, and they will do it for free. Just explain that you are not a customer and bought your phone third party and they should be able to do it. They are usually pretty quick about it as well.
Funny, I am a T-Mobile customer.... And an AT&T Customer... lol!
Thanks, I know about calling them and getting it, but as my post said, I wanted to give back to someone here since I could with a paid unlock.
Thanks again all and I will just have to spread the joy and hit some Donate buttons!
OFF TOPIC: I worked at the summit a snoqualmie last season! We had a crappy season over up there last year! I moved to Boise this summer and we already 6" on the mountain! THINK SNOW!

I have a donate button, you wanna push it.
Well, just called T-Mobile, they have to request them from HTC and it will be sent, along with instructions, to my email (and also noted in my account).
Can take up to 24 hours, but I am not in that much of a rush, so it's all good.
Thanks all!!!
And I will have to see about your donate button... See if it likes me or not.
i requested it and it came after 1 month, to my email.
Is there anybody here who can figure out a way for those of us using a Verizon Straight talk sim to get VOLTE? I realize that it isn't just that simple, but if someone can figure out where the sprint hidden menu settings are maybe we could figure it out.
There are some genius level people here that I am sure might be able to get this done.
Volte is for postpaid customers only
Someone in a thread here somewhere said they found a way to get it on straighttalk but it was on a different phone, I just can't remember who it was or what type of phone. I was hoping, and am going to continue to poke around to try to come up with something.
Thank you for your reply though. I do appreciate it.

Even if it was able to be enabled on device they would still have to activate it on the server side.

That's true, when I was on prepaid with verizon I "enabled" but of course nothing happened until I switched to postpaid and enabled it in myverzion.
As a Straight Talk user, I can definitely tell you that no, Straight Talk does not support VoLTE.
StraightTalk: Hi! How may I help you today?
Bella: Thank you for visiting Straight Talk Wireless.
Bella: Hi Strephon.
Bella: How may I assist you?
You: Does Straight Talk support voice over LTE?
You: *adds*...the FAQ doesn't mention VoLTE, so I figured I would ask you.
Bella: Before I can answer your inquiry, please allow me one moment to check the information.
You: Ok.
Bella: Thank you for patiently waiting.
Bella: No. Unfortunately, we are currently not supporting the feature.
You: That's what I figured, but there were a few people on a message board I frequent asking, so I figured you would be able to give a definitive answer. You've been very helpful.
Bella: It has been my pleasure. Is there anything else I can assist you with?
You: Not tonight. Thank you.
Bella: You are welcome. Thank you for chatting with Straight Talk Wireless. If you have any further questions or concerns, please contact one of our customer care representatives at 1-855-222-2355. For your convenience, our representatives are available Monday-Sunday from 8:00 AM to 11:45 PM EST.
