Just wondering does anyone know how to change the time?
Also, whenever someone calls it doesnt slide to answer/ignore? Anyone know how i could fix this
Sorry, but what do you mean with change time? Timeformat?
Slide to answer? Did you try the S2U2 settings and switch the functions on?
As far as I know the time synchronises with the phones clock, you just have to go into the S2U2 settings and switch the options around. Same for the S2 Answer/Ignore! Unless youve got the older S2U2 which I dont believe had the menu?

Or alternatively, if by changing time you mean changing the appearance of the clocks, you'll find the other clock skins along with the main installer in the zip file you downloaded. Unzip these to the gfx folder under s2u2. Of course assuming that you downloaded the latest version i.e. 1.37.
When i say change the time, i mean the 24 hour clock. Mine goes from 0:00 to 24:00, i would like to have a 12 hour clock( or US time? or w/e).
I looked in the settings and dont see any answer button
Edit: Wow, I am a moron. I did not realize you could scroll up and down in the settings, I just thought there were only like 6(the first ones you see when you open up the settings).
Sorry everyone, thanks for the help though.

Can anyone help me?
We can try but this is the forum for the HTC s730 "Wings" the T-Mobile Wing is a different phone and has its own forum.
What do you mean by display? You want a new theme? Different resolution? What appearance are you talking about? Button / Icon location color and such?
Need more info!

I mean as as far as different fonts and changing the way the menu and time look on my phone & im sorry I thought I clicked on the htc tmobile wing threads
Oh I dont mind if you post here, but you wont get a lot of full responses since we dont have the hardware
I am not fully sure of how your homescreen looks, if you have WM6 default home screens than you can edit the home page file and enlarge the clock, or download different home page files and run those (like you mentioned) There are also other programs that will install different clocks (dont remember any but have seen threads in here where people have used other programs).
The menu can be tweeked via the regestry, first get yourself a registry program and if its the same as our phone (should be since its window's driving this bit) find your way to HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Shell you can modefy some of the registry files there to change the layout of the start menu, you can also accomplish this with some third party programs I believe but I have not used them.
Hi All,
I have a question. Every time I open a SMS/Mail the keyboard pops up automaticly while most of the times I only want to read the message.
It is making the screen smaller and it takes time.
Is there a way to solve it?
Further I did not find a way to have an audio/acoustical alarm when the battery is finished so in a call the phone will switch of at once and immediately without warning.
Do I miss some settings or .......
Thanks in advance for help, Remco
When you get the message...instead of opening it there...click on the inbox in the lower left area of screen and that will open it up without the keyboard...when you click on it in the envelope or sms screen...it opens it because it thinks you want to reply straight away.
Battery alarm??...dont think there is one to be honest. I havent seen anything in the notifications or alarm section of the phone...Shame really as it would have been useful to have some sort of alarm going off when the battery gets low or is about to die.

same thing here the keyboard pops up automaticly when opening message ?!
click on the inbox in the lower left area
cant find it ?
do you mean the notifications when new message comeup
yeah i also find it really annoying that the keyboard pops up automatically everywhere.
it was not like this on my old Wizard with WM5.
i looked around in the options but cant find anyway to not make the keyboard pop up automatically yet.
It's because you have no Hardware Keyboard, and as the OS assumes you want to reply, it's helping you out. You'd probaly find theres a bunch of people who love this feature as much as you hate it
Rory
lol
Why dont you just read it in TF3D? bt yeah as for the the battery sound you can go into sound & notifications and select to enable sound for 'Events' thats the best i can think of atm.
I also find it frustrating with the keyboard.
Can this be set with a registry key to not have it pop up.
If i need the keyboard I can klick down in the middle of the screen to bring it up.

Nope there is no solution to this problem. There will never be a solution to this problem.
DONT try and search this forum for a solution to this problem because searching for a solution to this problem will not find a single solution to this problem.
There IS NOT a cab installer available to fix this, just as there is NO registry entries available in this forum to solve this problem
There has in fact NOT been 3 Topics in the last week that have solved this same problem.
I suggest starting a few more new topics in the forum asking for solutions to this problem.
Sorry for the sarcasm but jeez how many times must the same question be asked in the same forum in the same week!!!!

Possible with (albeit commercial) pocketMax phoneAlarm.

There sure is, do a search in the themes section for diamond and I'm sure you'll find it. just found mine, here you go.
how do i install it to make it work?
this doesn´t work on HTC Touch Pro :-(
A TP step by step would be cool for this mod..
I'm still trying to figure this out too, what are you supposed to do with the files, where do they go, do you have to diable something first, then what happens you set the background and it just works? Need more help please!
Try the "mUn BackGround4AllPages v.02.cab" in this thread.

Sorry for the late reply guys, here is the link on exactly how to use this.http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=2968109&postcount=168
the in-call "Slide down for more options" curtain
does anyone know how to turn this feature off?
i've searched and there are a few threads on this
but with no answers.
thanks in advance
I need this aswell, Could it be fixed with a registery edit?
I'm guessing you guys have done the same that I've done loads .... pulled the slider the wrong bloody way and hung up on people ? ?
I have to keep remembering to use the answer button not the touch screen.
I have searched some more, Without an actual solution,
Still I think it should be 'fixed' by a registry edit.
Can anyone give a concrete answer?
I remember when I used my HTC Touch Elfin, Some roms had the 'curtain' and some didn't, though it were 'the same dialers'
Sorry for the double post, But, Bump?
Anyone?
u can set the delay
HKEY Local Machine/Software/HTC/Phone/Cover/ResumeInterval
Default is 5000
So, To what should we change it to disable it?
0?
No not "0" Set it to "999999999999" or something. Tried many things like make an registry key EnablePhoneCover etc but nothing works
999999999999 would disable it completely?

No but you only have to slide down once. I have installed the screenoff tweak every time i make a call the screen turns of but the slider is not coming back
Oh ok ^^ Ty mate Will do for now...
But I still think there is a better way to do it, cause some diallers on custom roms do not contain the curtain, But are the same diallers.
I now but this was not with the new Topaz
I tried everyting in the registry but no luck so far
It's been 40 days since the last post. I was wondering if someone came with a fix for it by now?
I don't need this curtain. I want to have all the call options to begin with on my Diamond2 Just like I had it with my old Touch Pro. I don't want the curtain to show at all! I don't want to slide it down even once, Just to completely avoid it alltogether.

I noticed that installing Rhodium Dialer from CAB which I prepared disables curtain (and enables landscape and coference modes for dialer). The problem is that installation of this takes about 18mb of storage memory.
I'm thinking of creating my own ROM (as I did for Omnia ) based on 6.1 with Flashlite3 support in Opera and full landscape support cooked inside (using Rhodium components) .

No, you can't - this is integral part of phone and files must be put into \Windows folder.
Dialer can be found here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=535904

Alright, I'll do it anyways x)
yes, i actually want a skin deep TF3D2, i like the calendar and i like the new tabs and the landscape tabs, but i would like everything to lead into native WinMo apps, specifically i would like the messages tab to lead into the winmo SMS not the enhanced HTC SMS, the people tab can stay how it is sthats fone- but the hard part that i would like would be removing the HTC world clock altogether, i want WinMo to manage the time on my phone i don't want some 3rd party app changing it as well, so linking to the old clock menu isnt enough i don't think, the HTC world clock would need to be removed completely
All of this can be found by searching :|
1. Someone did post a fix for switching from HTC SMS > Regular SMS in the sms tab
2. You can disable world clock, it cannot be removed.
3. You can change all clicks in TF3D2 by using the program: SSMaHo.
sorry, i have seen the SMS thing before, my main concern was the world clock- so you can disable it? but how, i can't figure it out

Well not technically disable it..but make it point to either G-Alarm or Call History, because the regular clock settings does manage it, it's just that htc decided to make an addition to manilla to manage it Check out the Tachi Dialer thread and the tf3d2 thread in Dev & Hacking.

Lol. You can't. Like I said, try doing it with SSMaHo. Read the tuts or post in it's thread. I haven't used it. I don't understand why you dislike the htc world clock? It's the same thing as the one in settings just better, visually.
whenever i accidentally click on the world clock my time changes and not always by just an hour, sometimes it just goes to a different time zone- and the time is important on a phone haha, i would just rather have nothing messing with it
there is a workaround posted in the Rhodium VGA port thread, but i have to do it over every now and then :\
there is a toggle clock by whiskybro over in the diamond forum which disbles the world clock, tried it myself. maybe that could be of use

I so totally knew that was your problem It's fixed. Either install the tachi dialer + the fix, or install any new rom with the tachi dialer, I recommend EnergyROM.
Here is link to the new fixes for tf3d2. [Link]
thanks guys, you really have helped, no more wrong time on my clock!
