A2DP works default/only with Music Tab (Windows Media)??? - Touch HD Windows Mobile ROM Development

I'm using i.Tech Clip Radio and it only defauls A2DP to the music tab (which is linked to Windows Media) in THD...
I've installed PocketMusic 5.1 freeware. When playing musing with PocketMusic, I tried moving to the next song in my playlist, instead, it plays the next song in my TouchFlo3D, Music Tab's playlist.
No matter how I've test and tried, it just won't work with PocketMusic...,I tried coreplayer , not work either.
I tried turn off the touch 3D flo, still not gd
Just wonder any tweak need to set ?

welllll
welllllll, I did try A2DP with stock HD ROM and moto S9 and it worked sort of. If you set Coreplayer to be default for mp3 files in coreplayer's settings, it seems to work well with it. Ill tell you what though; The change track buttons on the S9 didn't change the tracks with coreplayer, just htc music tab. Havn't fooled around too much, Ill report back if I find anything.

utak3r can you help? WMP stuttering

I have upgraded to WM6 (C_ShekharAKU7.0b.R40.P24_public) from 2003, and I’m blown away. The main reason I use my XDA (Himalaya) is for watching movies as I travel a lot. My movies are converted to a WMV file.
The problem I have is that when playing the movie, the video stutters and the audio plays a few seconds’ ahead i.e. sync probs. Any ideas? I don’t want to go back to 2003.
Thanks
Hi there,
I can't help with the problem but I can confirm that I have the identical problem
*Upgraded from 2003SE
*Movies are converted to WMV
*Video stutters and audio is a few seconds ahead.
I've done a few tests to try determine what the issue might be but no luck.
*Tried testing testing at many different audio and video rates down to the lowest possible rates (60kbps and so on)
*Tried closing all other programs that were open using task manager
*Tried moving the file from my SD card onto the Himalaya (suspecting the SD was not able to be read fast enough). This WORKED for the first replay, but went back to its normal stuttering directly after.
I've been trying to recreate that ONE time when it worked, but with no luck.
I can confirm that between the working time and non-working time, I didn't install anything, and I doubt I changed any settings, though can't be sure.
Anyway, maybe you can try a few of the things that I did. In your case, it may work.
Use TCPMP to play all your movie file.
If there are problems, convert your file to any format rather than WMV. ex, MP4.
I use TCPMP to play a whole movie.
If your movie file is a DVD, convert it using Nero Recode...
Hope this helps!
As for playing movies... TCPMP and all is done You can download plugins for quite a number of various movie formats
And as for recoding... I recommend PocketPC DivX Encoder, aided with MediaCoder.
Check
Guys
I also had this problem where the whole device's sound was stuttering. Even when the phone rings.
I could not use media player because of this.
I reflashed my ROM and did not install the WM6 sound fix............
Since then i did not have this problem again.
My sound is perfect!! Try it out!!
Cheers
installed TCPMP all fine. Best version ever.
GB Softweak
HI guys
I have located this problem.
I tried to install GB softweak...for the gprs disconnection. After i enabled it, my device's sound started stuttering.
It was exactly what it did when i first posted this problem.
I uninstalled GB softweak...................the sound is back to normal, and no stuttering.
Hope it helps!

Audio player recommendations

Hi,
I tried using Windows Media player to play songs but they do not support copy right m4a files and other misc audio formats. Thus i used TCPMP player which is good to solve the problem but it does not have a SEARCH function.. any advice and other takes on other audio players?
Audio Manager is good. Works when display is off.
S2P or Slide 2 Play is the best one.
Audio manager is good but you can't specify a single folder to use, it will automatically scan for all mp3 and sometimes other audio files on the mem card. I it wasn't for that I would say Audio Manager.
I tested S2P but it does not have the SEARCH function, it doesn't even support playlist function... but its interface is very nice... any more better audio players out there?
I use Mortplayer and I also tried GSPlayer earlier on (both shouldn't be hard to find).
DUDE, this is a phone not an mp3 or a qps device. You don't need to play audio..
tcPiMP gets my vote.
Mort Player
Mort player is my favorite!
It has it all - great for Audio books too!
Get it here:
Stable version
Beta version

are you kidding me? why do people like you always chime in like this w/ irrelevant replies
"i dont use my phone for this, so i think its dumb that anyone else uses its for (blank) purpose"
if you forgot, there are phones like the iphone, sony ericson music phones, nokia n series, etc that are great multipurpose phones...which is EXACTLY what the kaiser is. if you're gonna stick w/ that ideology why don't you stick to a nokia 3395.
PocketMusic Rocks
For me this is a serious bit of kit. It's my phone, GPS, personal organizer and now an MP3 player in the car. That was made possible with PocketMusic - http://www.pocketmind.com/pmfp.htm
Get the full version otherwise the real benefits are not seen.

TCPMP .71 with AAC?

Can't get my copy of TCPMP to even install right - get the Crash.txt every time - even without installing the AAC plugin. AAC is nice for one RSS I have, but I can also get it in MP3, I just hate having 15 files for one magazine...
TCPMP is the only player I know of that worked with AAC, it's also been the nicest one I've used for audio podcast and skipping back 10 seconds with a key press, or jumping to a point in the file with its big slider...
try this..

its a new build of the TCPMP player..

Can't make bluetooth headset control pocket player instead of WMP???

Hi all. I seem to be having a little problem since I Flashed my latest 6.5 ROM. I use pocket player instead of windows media player, and always use a blue tooth stereo head set. any other time when I install pocket player, and am using it, my bluetooth controls work to control the track selection, pause, play make call funtion and so on... Now however, when I'm using Pocket player and hit something on my bluetooth head set, it automatically opens up windows media player. I really don't like WMP so this is really annoying. Can anyone tell me how to change what program is called up when I use my blue tooth. I can hear the music fine through the head set, it's just the controls that aren't working properly. Thanks anyone....
this is the third thread i've found with wmp jackin our $hit...oh the humanity!! please, someone come to our rescue *$10,000,000 reward for the brave soul who vanquishes the mighty wmp
*must also slay a real live dragon and be able to build me a time travel machine in which i will use to go back in time and create ms-dos before bill gates and make billions upon which you will receive your reward*
Conduit Pocket Player can do that after you download appropriate plugin
This has been fixed in version 4.1 of Pocket Player (well, it works for me anyway ).

Best audio player for Kaiser?

I am a long term kaiser owner, couple of years now.
I decided to try it as my day to day mp3 player. I normally use a Sony dedicated player but as I have a spare 16GB micro SD, I thought I would put that to use.
Does anyone have any tips on a good audio player that is installable as a cab because I have no real knowledge of flashing custom roms (apart from orginal ones, ie, setup.exe, next, next )
many thanks all for a great place for info
Best AudioPlayer i.m.o is PocketPlayer download the demo give it a shot
Best audio player and it's FREE...is Mortplayer. I use it on my TyTN II and have used it for many years now. I am unable to upload cab, but the latest is MortPlayer-v3.31b77. You won't need another mp3 player. Just Google it and you'll find it.
cheers all
Sadly I used the windows media player, there was a way to turn the screen off with it so I used it.
NITROGEN IS THE WAY TOO GO
fast, simple, light, and you change change the skin
always been using this
yeah windows media player all the way
The only thing I have to say about Nitrogen is that it does not sort my memory by album, artist, etc... Otherwise, I MUCH prefer Nitrogen to anything else, just feels 'right'... all the buttons do what I feel they should do, the scroll wheel is the volume, and the volume is independant of all other sounds on the device. Allows me to balance my voice navigation agaist my mp3s, etc.
How does Mort player stand up?
+1 for Nitrogen
