Can't get my copy of TCPMP to even install right - get the Crash.txt every time - even without installing the AAC plugin. AAC is nice for one RSS I have, but I can also get it in MP3, I just hate having 15 files for one magazine...
TCPMP is the only player I know of that worked with AAC, it's also been the nicest one I've used for audio podcast and skipping back 10 seconds with a key press, or jumping to a point in the file with its big slider...
try this..

My wife uses an iPod, and we share music libraries. I'd like to use iTunes to sync my Tilt but of course, activesync won't do that. To solve the problem, I'm thinking of buying two pieces of software:
TunesSync, to sync the library
http://www.pocketmac.net/products/tunessync_windowsmobile/index.html
PocketMusic, with AAC plugin
http://www.pocketmind.com/pocketmusic.htm
That should do it, but does anybody know of a different, less expensive way to do this? I'm looking at blowing $40 total for software here. Is their a better media player out there?
that will work - i used to used that path, but eventually converted everything over to windows media, which syncs much better. don't forget that anything you purchased through iTunes most likely has DRM turned on, and won't play, even though you have the AAC plugin (which plays M4A, not M4P files)
There is an AAC plugin for media player linked around here. I use it for all my standard (non-DRM) iTunes files.
the pocketmusic AAC plugin will allow M4A files to be played in media player as well
Corecodec Player plays all that audio files. I use it and it's very good.
Recommend it!
Cheers.
Can anyone recommend a good media player for the Kaiser?
I've tried TCPMP which I've never got to play a single file, EVER, and WMP is ok, but not great. I've got some videos from LearnVisualStudio.net in WMV format but I cant play them.
What is the best media player for the Kaiser?
In my opinion, Coreplayer is the best.
It seems odd that you've never managed to get TCPMP to play anything... It's one of the most widely used media players for PPC, because of it's ability to play almost ANY video/music file, and with the settings provided in this thread, you can ensure you have excellent quality too...
Does anyone know of a windows mobile audio player that can play this asf audio file. It was created from our Mitel phone system.
TCPMP may play that file
I have tried a very old version of TCPMP but not the current. It did not work. I could not find a trial version to test it. If some one has the current version could you test to see if it can play this file. Would be much appreciated. I have been trying to find a player for over 2 years that will play these types of files.
Here's my version of TCPMP
Tested with Vodafone UK (v1615) stock ROM.
TCPMP 0.81RC1 Beta
I get "Error: Player: Audio codec (Sipro Lab Telecom ACELP.net) not supported by the player!"
Hope that helps (or at least gives you some more information)
Thanks for the file but unfortunately it did not work. I get the error Audio codec (Sipro Lab Telecom ACELP.net) not supported by the player. Looks like I'm out of luck. We get our voicemails in Outlook and no problem opening them on the computer with windows media player but not when it is pushed to the kaiser.
The file is .asf but non of my PC based players would touch it.
It may be currupt or not a true .asf file.
Try this for all TCPMP issues
TCPMP Master Codec Pack 2.CAB LINK
Does anyone know why TCPMP will not open when accessing mobile Youtube videos? When I try to open a link at m.youtube the stock HTC "Steaming Media" player always opens.
I have:
-a HTC S730
-WM6
-TCPMP Ver. .72RC1
-Installed FLV Plugin 0.4.2
-Associated Files-Flash Video, MMS Protocol, Mpeg, HTTP, AIF, M3U, NSV, OGG, Matroska, Musepack and PLS -and at one point all files
-Done a soft reset
-uninstalled and reinstalled both TCPMP and the plugin
I expect that the TCPMP would open...?? Please correct me if Im wrong.
The reason I want to use the TCPMP player vs the Streaming Media player is that the Streaming Media player has poor A/V quality and Im hoping TCPMP will improve it. Thanks.
You might want to take a look in This thread, might help.
Thanks for the reply. Ive read through the tread, different problem.
Ive downloaded the files and followed the instructions @ ytpocket again. Still opening files with Streaming Media..!!!! Its driving me nuts.
Hmm, if no one has responded by time I wake up i'll take a peak into it I never really use You Tube on my phone and if I do I find the default to be sufficient.
In the mean time double check all the menu options in it to see if you can change the default association, I know you mentioned associated files but the program needs to tell the OS that it will take over instead of the other, this might be accomplished with a simple registry change but again not sure.
I'm using i.Tech Clip Radio and it only defauls A2DP to the music tab (which is linked to Windows Media) in THD...
I've installed PocketMusic 5.1 freeware. When playing musing with PocketMusic, I tried moving to the next song in my playlist, instead, it plays the next song in my TouchFlo3D, Music Tab's playlist.
No matter how I've test and tried, it just won't work with PocketMusic...,I tried coreplayer , not work either.
I tried turn off the touch 3D flo, still not gd
Just wonder any tweak need to set ?
welllll
welllllll, I did try A2DP with stock HD ROM and moto S9 and it worked sort of. If you set Coreplayer to be default for mp3 files in coreplayer's settings, it seems to work well with it. Ill tell you what though; The change track buttons on the S9 didn't change the tracks with coreplayer, just htc music tab. Havn't fooled around too much, Ill report back if I find anything.
