[WAD2][SKIN] HTC's M8 [BASED ON NEW MEIZU M8 UI] [VGA,QVGA RELEASED]

Introducing HTC's M8 based on Meizu M8's new UI concept
The skin is very simple to use as well as very finger friendly
QVGA: Released
VGA: Will release tonight
Requirement: WAD2 download it from its own website
Installation:
1) First see the above requirement and install WAD2 in your device
2) Extract the downloaded zip file
3) Copy and paste Meizu QVGA folder on your phone's storage card and copy paste the Meizu HTC folder in your Program Files\Lakeridge\Wisbar Advance Desktop\Themes Themes folder

till now QVGA and VGA are confirmed..
WQVGA could be done on users demand but i dont have a WVGA device so sorry cant sure you that until some WVGA user converts it..

It looks really nice, but I have one suggestion.
It looks like when you click the texting icon, you have the system info show up... that just doesn't really make sense.
Why not just have the latest text message show? There is a plugin for WAD2 that allows that.
Besides that, it looks great!

Its a skin for a program called WAD (Wisbar Advance Desktop) you can download it from the lakeridgesoftware.com website, its not free but I believe you can download a trial. It should work with any 5/6/6.1/6.5 rom. The interfaced is based on the interface from the new Meizu m8 phone.
I love this interface, I was hoping someone would skin it or parts of it for some application. Gonna reinstall WAD just for this! Looking forward to the release, looks great.

just a few..the link to SMS points to messaging\Sms refresh.lnk, shows 'shortcut error' and then goes to Messaging page in WAD. wat is that link supposed to do?? or is it a separate app??
and can the Programs page can be made scrolling-type (like the one in M2D) adding more programs as needed??
(took some time for me to figure out the swipes.. it'd b easy if pointed out on the first post

Landscape should be working in Topaz.This was from the AT&T rom....havent taken out the AT&T stuff(if enough people want this then I will remove the extra AT&T stuff and re-release it).... anyway...as I said this is just a playtoy for the masses...till another build becomes available.
There is no landscape support for the leo version.
These are BETA releases....just something for the masses to play with,nothing more nothing less....Have fun for the weekend....

WiFi not connecting in LEO rom...
Ms Tagged does not work with the Camera in these builds, the camera is the htc camera,start the camera once take a picture, click on the garbage pail icon...letters may not appear the first time in menu....restart camera take picture and they are there....
There is no Opera Browser in LEO ROM
The attached images are for the backround when using windows default in the TOPAZ ROM...included are blue as the default theme is and a black backround....unzip,sync phone copy to windows directory reboot...

Start menu?
Testing so far nice piece of work You made,got one question about TF3D,when i pres the start button the screen with shortcuts to add programs come up,but when i pres x button the start menu is there is it any way to make when i pres start button to go to start menu.

Testing now navigation garmin and igo8.

This was done because people want one or the other,so rather then hear the complaints about not having one or the other both were included in the topaz rom.....hehe I am sure you can remap the start menu with aebuttonplus or another application.

It is from the AT&T Warhawk 6.5 rom, which is a 6.5 compatable version.Your about 500 miles away from me....used to go up/over there to ohio on a regular basis...lol

There wont be a full working cab with manila, there are to much other packages that needs to be installed or rather cooked, that now is tightly integrated in manila. And to install all that stuff via cabs will be way to much.
The mods will be available as a cab, but can only be installed on top of a system that has wm6.5 and manila 2.5 (newer versions) allready cooked in.
And stock SEUS 6.1 roms will most likely not work as this is build around a 6.5 system.
And besides, this system has a very high system load, its very heavy on ram.

Wow, full landscape support on Manila 2.5 - sounds exciting...
The only feature I will miss is Smabergs actionscreen, which saves a lot of time making notes, appointments etc.
Maybe sometimes you two get together with smaberg - this would be the perfect team for perfect roms !

I made this ROM for one reason only, i got one million requests on it.
This is a 100% stable and MAX TWEAKED Swedish ROM with WM 6.1 and original manila 2.1 with background on all pages built in and 4 icons in a row start menu. i included the most "wanted" applications.

i must say that i had been using the tmobie us rom and was happier with it that any 6.5 rom i have run. the one drawback, a big one, was the inability to turn the screen of while a media player was running without the sound turning off as well.
Mort, Nitrogen, S2P, all the good ones lost this functionality in the cooked 6.1 roms i tried, which was mind numbing because my old tmobile wing could do this and so could the original touch pro.
i have been all over this forum advocating for this and letting everyone hear about it, when i had the time, and have yet to see it addressed. i would cream in my pannts and donate to get this working... seriously!
and yes, i would love to see your rom(with the above mentioned functionality) in wwe!

You can turn off the screen while listening to music only if you have the headset plugged in. This way it will keep playing music.

thanks for the help but i tried this already. it seems to function only with the auidio manager which is a resource hog and does not play all file types. i need nitrogen, s2p, mortplayer and others(like coreplayer, if wanted) to have this functionality.
i have tried all regisrty edits i could find and no luck. this is/was a simple function that my old phones can do(wing, tp1).

you are not alone, I have the same problem. In 6.1 roms I can use for music playing with switch of screen with headset only the WM player. All other playaers, nitrogen, coreplayer and also the T3D player stop working if I switch the screen off.

SayaDX★Taskbar [Token Edition+] WM 6.5.x [W|VGA](10/27)

Hello my name is Lunie, as I have mentioned in one of my threads before I like to customize the tiny things in manila, but now I have made a custom taskbar for windows mobile. This is based on iOS themes and Token theme. Some of you might like it but some of you wont. I'll have to finish it soon by making my own drop down icons, unfortunately i have no more time. This is the best I could do since im going back to school tommorow. I'll take any ideas for what the taskbar should look like to match the battery but as for now like i said i have no more time but imo token=eyecandy so enjoy.
How to install?
-Make sure you have SDKCerts installed
-Download either the one, the only difference is the battery one is color and one matches the token drop down icons.
-Install reboot everyone is happy! :3~

EDIT: I just noticed on your screenshots, it seems like you're using WM6.1. Do you know whether this will work on WM6.5.x?
Also, a suggestion I'd like to add, but I think would be a lot of effort, would be to add the battery percentage, then I don't have to use the CHT battery widget, which is a little slow on updating.
EDIT2: It works with 6.5.x anf I also just saw the thread title saying it's for 6.5.x
I really like it. Just one problem I have, that I had with Dark Ninja's previous taskbars as well, is that the signal bars seems to get a little cut off. Instead of showing 5 bars, it just shows like 3 1/2.
Other than that I really like it. I'll check the "Token" one in a bit to see the difference and which looks better.

Sure i'll try and make a % version soon.
I am using 6.5.x and it will only work on this version. You can try 6.1 but it would only edit so much or not work at all. I havent tried it...so for now it's only for 6.5.x. ^^

I have the same problem with this taskbar as I have with the original Dark Ninja Android bar - how do you get the dropdown to appear like in the screenshots? The only thing I could think was that I have Arkswitch installed and the activation zone is left side of the taskbar area?

It's because of arkswitch, uninstall it to get it to dropdown, or it's most likely cooked in your ROM. Try asking your ROM cooker about that or switch roms.
I guess the solution is to make the signal very thin so you guys are able to see full bars. I'll have to fix it soon.

Hmm, i'm not sure what you mean. If I ever work on another battery it'll be blackberry styled. If you want the ico's you'll have to extract it from the cab itself, or you can tell me which part of the ico you want and i'll send it to you.

Also I couldn't figure out how to make the signal bar 5 bars. Is it even possible? I checked the default winmo and it even has 3 1/2 bars as well... oO

WVGA and VGA are both 192 dpi. Taskbars for either are interchangeable!
