Hi!
Just got my HTC Touch Pro, so I ported my omnia tweaker application to VGA. What it does is simple: it lets you enable and disable specific tweaks with simple buttons packed in a M2D style tabbed interface.
It currently support registry editing and phone commands (omnia had a lot of that, raphael doesn't have any).
This is just a demo, I didn't add too much htc specific tweaks yet, and I didn't remove the omnia specific ones, so it's currrently just a prototype. Feel free to try it out though. The configuration is loaded from an XML file, so you might edit that too.

Looks really sweet. Can anyone add tweaks? Thanks for you contribution! Look forward to the Rafael tweaks being added too!
It has a simple XML file where you can add tweaks. I'm thinking about converting Advanced Configurator's XML file to my format, so you'll have all the configurations avaialable there with a touch

Nice.. We need a dedicated APP for the Raphael..
Awaiting the tweaks from Advanced config.. Diamond Tweak has good tweaks also.

As a title... I can't find any possibility to change my default them for the touch 3D. Anyone can help me?
Thanks
Me too
I like to change the color of the touchflo theme to black (from o2 xda blue). How to do that? Any ideas?
Tx.
I second that.
All the files are in die "Windows"-folder.
i can tell how to change back ground... go to settings from touch flo then wallpaper.. select any pic.
I found the ugly blue background branded by O2 in the WINDOWS directory (at least I think it is that one): \WINDOWS\stBackImage.png
However TotalCommander states that it is in the ROM and I can't seem to modify it in any way. This is where some more WM6 experienced people would be needed to tell me how to modify these files?
Thanks,
Alex
Edit:
Does anyone have the original background at hand?
An alternative approach I tried: I looked for the filename in the registry, but can't seem to find it.
This is exactly what I was afraid of, as soon as I saw that awful Magenta T Mobile version of the diamond
Well the blue-ish O2 theme is something i COULD live with - it's not THAT ugly - but then again: I wish I wouldn't have to
you can create a file with the same name and extension on you're desktop
eddit it with any paint progam and save it,
Now you can try to copie it and overwrite it on you're device...
it works for me, if not for you, you have to wait until some has unlocked the rom files
greets LuXa
nope, activesync tells me that the drive is either read-only or the file is write-protected...
I would also LOVE to know how to change ALL the backgrounds in touch flo 3D.

I managed to overwrite this file - without success... it doesn't seem to be the right file...
I can't find any other file that looks like the touchflo 3d background - unfortunately...
has anyone found other files that could be the right ones?
for all germans who want the touchFLO 3d in black:
http://www.ppc-welt.info/community/showthread.php?t=131693
it works perfectly on my diamond
why not simply reflash with another rom? as far as I know all cooked roms contain the standard (black) version of TF3D...
because this is not what I want...
although black is prettier than blue the o2 theme looks better (icons, no green borders etc)
I just want to change the background image of tf3d on all pages...
There are already a number of threads with this request.
See:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=401324
There was another thread where l3v5y was discussing which files were the graphics in TouchFLO 3D, but I can't find it now.
Also, ideally, some one would make a customizer that was extensible enough to change theme designs for a wider range of applications. See this thread:

Exactly just the first background, that makes it pretty useless.
I can't imagine why HTC were that braindead they didn't include such a feature.
The new Verizon version of the TouchPro includes a theme that has a working TF3D interface in landscape mode. Archy over in the Diamond theme forums posted a copy of the theme that will run on Diamonds and TouchPros.
Here's his post: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=2914105&postcount=1321
This has mostly been mentioned in the Diamond forum but I just installed this theme on my Fuze and it works great. (And faster than most other themes I've tried...)
i just want the landscape tf not the entire theme. I hope some one can get just the landscape tf soon.

Yeah, I tried pulling out the files to make just the landscape work but I didn't have any luck so I just installed the whole theme. I really like it so far...

It's useful for me because I have my keyboard open a lot so it's nice to have more options when it's in that mode.
And, yes, it's just like any other theme. I installed it using Diamond TF3D Config, restored the default theme and then installed it again all without any problems.
Landscape only files
folks,
a little farther in the thread...he points out what files are needed for the landscape only piece...http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=2923578&postcount=1347. you should be able to create a theme with just these files to load through diamond config...or of course use total commander. hope this helps.

A little farther still he says that just copying those files won't work. The files in that list are just the graphics files that are needed for landscape mode, not any of the Mode9 files which control the functionality.

Hi,
Not sure of the best thread to post, so figured I try the master theme thread.
See the screen shots below.
Can anyone help me with knowing what file creates this BLUE SELECTOR in the various pop ups for File Manager, Total Commander, etc, essentially those programs that are straight WM6 and not Manila related. I found files to get the Manila BLUE SELECTOR, but am stumped on the BLUE SELECTOR in the various pop ups for File Manager, Total Commander, etc.
I am using cooked HTC Topaz / AT&T Pure ROM WVGA, close to stock, with WM6.5.x, Manilla 2.5_2012.1225_HTC Sense, Cookie 1.7.0.
I suspect there is bmp, jpg, png file and perhaps a registry entry to direct to the specific file?
Anyway, thanks in advance for your help.
m0
This is Manila related, as it's HTC Menu Enhancement and not the stock WM menu.
Livven,
Thanks. So how can I get this blue selector and the HTC Enhanced Menu files, cab, etc?
Can you help?
Thank you!!!
m0
P.S. I love your Livven SimpleGloss Themes 192dpi.cab themes!! Blue is the best.

The menu in your screenshots are HTC enhanced i.e. not native WM
You need to modify the corresponding manila files
Find those files, export png using CFCGUI, edit the png then convert it back to manila files
Ok, after hours and hours and hours, I finally figured it out. It was easy, once I figured this out.
Bottom line...the file HTCMenus.png in the \Windows directory is what controls the selector highlight for NON Manila files (the screen shots below are .jpg files). The goofy thing is that dependind on what version of HTC Menu Enhancment you may have, based on of ROM Chef, this HTCMenus.png file may need to be changed, that is in the graphic size.
I learned this too late after finding this thread on the HTC Menu Enhancements CAB files by
Co0kieMonster at this link http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=508919.
Also, as part of this experience, I learned which files effect the highlights for Manila selectors. These files may be too many, but, I know this worked for me, see below for the list and the ZIP that has these. I found I could just copy them to the \Windows directory using Resco Explorer.
Anyway, hopefully this will provide some help to folks and save them a bunch of time, that I had hoped to avoid, but...

I have released a public beta version of my new Throttle Launcher theme over at the Throttle Launcher forums HERE
The theme has been created with permission from maxycy and bignadad for the graphics
The theme has been tested on wqvga and vga devices and was created for those with lower powered devices that want to experience that max sense feel.
Before you start using the theme be sure to run through the configuration, go through the theme settings and pay extra special attention to the programs section where you need to specify what programs will be used to perform certain functions. There is also an exes folder included with some goodies already for you, these are provided as is and may not work for every device.
The weather requires you to Download animations which can be stored on your storage card and pointed to from within the config.
When you press any of the taskbar icons you will see a page similar to that in screenshot 4 to exit to the homescreen you can click on the first icon or to return to the page you were on press on any area of the black background.
Please provide detailed feedback of any issues below.
Revision History
0.8 first public beta
0.81 bugfix startbutton issue when in taskbar page
0.85 07/09/2010 facebook and twitter pages have now been replaced by shortcuts to installed executables.
to allow for a speedup of the tablauncher and weather pages I have now incorporated new weather icons stored in iconsweather within the theme - see screenshots here
a few minor tweaks here and there
Very very nice, i have to try that out right away. You make really the best TL themes out there my friend...thanks
Working great everything. I just have some problems changing the default black background, can you help?
go in to throttle config and open the theme settings.
for the i900 you need to have it set like this as there is no accelleration.
i have also included the rendering options as i have them also

After having tested the theme since yesterday i found that it has some problems:
Several times when adding new widgets or when running a program from within TL, Throttle Launcher quits and i have to restart it manually. I use TL as standalone, not as today plugin. I verified other themes but it only happens with this one. As further info. i use TL version 1.1.9
not had that myself, i'm running 1.1.11

I don't know if it is due to the version 1.1.11 that i have installed but now it is stabler and does not quit often.
On the other hand, how do i add shortcuts on the left panel (left arrows on the side of the home icon)? There are shortcuts there but i think they were pulled from the last theme i used, and there is no add button, left and right softkeys are bringing up the config for TL and for the device. In favorites for example there is an add button and there i could add shortcuts without problems.
Thanks for sharing!

You mean the start menu? Then something is wrong, as only 5 programs show up on my device. On my ROM the start menu is "Windows/Menú Inicio/Programas", maybe this is the problem? On the other side who knows where the 5 shortcuts came from... they are installed programs, but i have easy above 50 installed programs.

Yes i see all programs, and for example they show all up in other TL themes.
Another question:
As the facebook and twitter widgets do not work for me i would like to launch facebook.exe and PockeTwit.exe when i tap on the corresponding icon in the tablauncher page. What do i have to change in the xml to make this happen? I tried to modify the config.xml but now only a blank page opens. I also tried to modify the facebook.xml and the twitter.xml, but that also did not work. I am sure i am doing something wrong, but i don't know what. If you point me to what to change i might get it to work.
Thanks

---I know SPB Mobile Shell and a lot others.

Co0kie Home Tab is a modifciation of manila3d, and it makes the home screen very customizable with the ability to have many widgets, swype screen left and right, up and down, and easy modify graphics elements in the screen. But I am not sure if manila3D can be installable in your device. You can get the EXT packages from this kitchen and try. Once you have manila3d (also called HTC Sense) you can try to install Co0kie Home Tab from here. But again, I do not know if this will work in your device.
Thanks poyensa,
I wait for others comment from other XDA members...
Samsung also has TouchWiz on the Omnia series of Windows Mobile phones.
Thanks kjliev
I think TouchWiz is the customization included in Omnia 2...
But the others?...
I want the skin in this image!
What is it? Can I download it? (also in landscape)
It also change dialer and other things?
what you want exactly? is this image from your device and you want to modify it? then you need to provide the manila version you have installed; or you want to import the skin to your device?

I think that slider icons belongs to this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=726996. That slider works in HTC Sense (manila 2.5) You can dump the files with any cab manager tool (see here)
To convert the manila files to png format (and viceversa) you may need CFC GUI or TF3D manila mode9 editor
If you want to apply that cab directly to your device you need to have manila 2.5 installed in your device. I remember some links to a manila 2.5 cab made by jmart518, but the best way should be cooking it in your rom. Some ext package should still be available in XDA. I know manila 2.5 had been ported to some non HTC devices (omnia2). If not possible you can try with manila 2.1.

Yes but look here & here. Manila2D was done for qvga devices, so all inslatallation on wvga devices strat from qvga then apply some fix for realignment. Specially this thread is for manila2D on X1 which was wvga (800x480).
