So i was over on modaco and they were able to get the panels to work on HD...yea i know the resolution difference between the Blackstone and Raphael....Maybe one of the chef experts can play with it. I tried to install the installer and it installs but doesnt run.

Ok this isin't exactly what your looking for but interesting none the less. this is FEWigets, its omnia-esque for the tough pro.

The next one is smiler to what you are looking for, its called Task Facade.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=420220
But I have seen nothing that is an exact replica of the X1 YET.
Hope I helped you some!
I'm pretty sure he was looking for a project to port panels to the htc raphael (cdma and gsm variations)
i second that.. hope someone is working on porting it to the raphael... well we kinda see that xperia has got tf3d ported to it's device.. well i hope raphael users could get panels too one day..
thirded on that point
the interface is so beautiful (and facebook app ftw) would be perfect for touch pro
I fourth this motion. I like how on the X1 TF3d was one of the panels It is the porting of the app on a different resolution which poses the biggest challenge i think.
It could be used with tf3d, launched with a pull-down of the task bar, like SPB Mobile Shell does.
considering the relase of the files thanks to modacco I don't see why it can't be ported now

Is this possible for you guys to port or extract TFL3D to the X1? TFL3D is actually a program running ontop of windows. and i dont see why it cant be done on X1, since both running the same WM.
is it ported to other devices?
theres your answer
is it ported to other devices?
F..King dumb question
Of course its not converted to other devices, as they dont have the hardware for it to run smootly exept on kaiser that i know, but THE XPERIA is SOMETHING ELSE because it has the same hardware, 3D chip and the same motherboard as the diamond......
please read in the forum......
as i am also looking for touchflo 3D to my upcoming SE X1...
Well I tried to install the QVGA version on non HTC phones and it did not work.....
So mayb I did somethin wrong....
The best bet would be if someone could grab it from a touch HD, as is runs the exact same hardware, including the WVGA screen.
Touch Flo 3D (Manilla) From Touch HD
Good news for all Xperia owners. I have Touch Flo 3D (Manilla) working on the X1. The Manilla software came from the Touch HD and works very fast. Weather works as does the audio manager and photo album. I can't fault it so far. Great to have the best of both worlds. I will package it up into a cab and post a link soon - maybe tomorrow.
Nice. Can't wait to try it out.
Looking through the registry on my X1 there are keys there for TFLO in HKLM/Software/OEM
ive been waiting for this since i got my xperia on release day. Every xperia owner salutes you!

Its a shame the panels seem to be so poorly written. They should be silky-smooth with 3D acceleration.
I certainly am disappointed from the videos I have seen and if I did not know the specs, I would be thinking its no more powerful than my Wizard. Theres still even the lag rotating the screen when you open the keyboard. I expected it to be a lot faster and smoother especially for the price.
touchflow will run on htc hd extremely smooth and fast.
htc has got 480x800, too. so i will beleave, that in near future, touch flow will be downladable in wxga res.
(sorry i meant wvga, lol)

I am still working on this. Need to get the album and audio manager working. Also having trouble with landscape mode - don't know if Blackstone actually has one. Also trying to put in comm manager, phone and volumes controls. It is worth the wait as Manilla is not complete without these components!
Good on you man! I am patient and am willing to wait. Many thanks dude!

Hi everyone!
Is there anyone working on porting TouchWiz from Omnia? What i see they have some nice features with widgets and some graphical goodies.
You can view a video here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YE6kFC8Mgr4 from phonescoop
If the port isent possible can someone redirect me to the mouse feature to work on Xperias optical joystick as seen 5min in the video.
Thanks!
there are some similar UIs out there that function like the one in OMNIAs, just search in 'development and hacking' subforum.
*edit*
this could be the most similar to Omnias

Thank you, ill continue searching.
A full port would be real nice, since i like the graphical effects on omnia, for example the landscape effect is good graphical wise
I would be very excited about a port of TouchWiz from the Omnia, especially since there's a WVGA version of Omnia out there now. It would be a perfect match

There was a huge discussion about the QVGA port of the omnia stuff in the dev & hacking section of the forum, alas it didn't work in vga never mind WVGA
That was news for me. I thougt that Omnia had the same resolution on its screen as Blackstone and Xperia. 1-0 to Xperia on one more point then
I hope porting the mouse pointer is possible though.
I made a thread asking for the exact same thing here weeks ago. I think FEWidgets is the closest we can get at the moment. A proper port would have been great, especially if it was a panel.
This would be an excellent port especially as a panel. I have used this on my g/f's samsung tocco and it is a really good interface to use.
http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=9-NmPnyqrEU
this is the closest thing like omnia touch wizard yeah it is an FEWidgets
lets hope in future there is going to be a FEWidgets pannel that would be so cool
so x1 can do x pannel+touch flo 3d+touch wizard all in one !
unbeatable wm device

Well, somehow FEWidgets doesn't seem to work very well for me. When I press the panel button in my TouchFlo3D panel, sometimes FEWidgets will launch and somehow hang my X1 for a while. Perhaps it'd be better if it can be run as a panel.
I have FEWidgets running fine on my Xperia but as an app. The only thing that bugs me is that its still in its early stages and a bit slow. And its made using flash.
A proper port of the TouchWiz from the Omnia would be perfect though.
Folks
We may be in luck at getting a wvga version of touchwiz. I was just searching around and Samsung have released a new version of the Omnia (SCH-M490) with a WVGA res. Only problem is, its only being released in korea.
So im guessing all we have to try and do is find a copy of the korean rom, port touchwiz and translate the language.
take a look at this link http://www.modaco.com/content/i9x0-omnia-http-omnia-modaco-com/275915/sch-m490-video/#entry936699

I want purchase one of these, which one would you say is best?
SPB 3.0 is a lot better
u can also try both, by going to there websites
point ui free edition
spb 3.0 trial
then buy the one u want
Yes, try them out before you buy one.
But Ganondolf is right,SPB 3.0.1 is much better. I even flashed my phone back from new WinMo 6.5 to 6.1 and installed SPB 3.0 because I missed so many features. Contact program is fantastic...so is everything and not at least the beautiful android screens.
[x] Spb Mobile Shell 3.0
I bought SPB 3
Hi,
I tried both PointUI and SPB 3 for a while and found SPB 3 to be much better.
While both are really good WM skins, I had annoying ? characters all over my contacts list when using PointUI and it would sometimes stop responding completely for a while - I assume because it was working stuff out
I had problems of some kind with nearly all the applets I downloaded from the PointUI Community website too at one time or another.
Not only did I find SPB 3 more stable, the more I used it the more I realised it could do and on top of the customisation you get by default with the Lifestyle Layout, there's also loads of tricks, widgets and themes out there that people have developed independently (just like for PointUI.)
SPB for X1i is free, just check out the thread in Software & Themes section. The panel version of SPB was released by SE in Korea i think.
Had a look at point ui, it looks graphically appealing, but there doesnt seem to be much to it tbh. Will use SPB, is it also a panel?
SPB mobile shell 3 is too complicated. Point UI pro is just fine its more touch friendly. If you want to have it for free just google it. Or buy it
I would not prefer sbp nor PointUi, only WisbarAdvancedDesktop 2 with much more possibilities and it is great stable on my X1
Great skins (called themes) you can find here: http://www.lakeridgesoftware.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=60
I agree with PF. Have used SPBMS, PointUI2 and WAD2. SPB is WYSIWYG (too rigid for me); PointUI2 while looking very good is just too unstable on a WVGA phone, the most appealing applets are just too resource intensive. After looking around I found WAD2, brilliant, fast, stable infinitely customizable. I've installed fransberg's BlackberryHD theme and tweaked it a bit to my liking (http://www.lakeridgesoftware.com/forum/showpost.php?p=93920&postcount=16). Really, really nice. Again like the other two Lakeridge has a trial download to try.
I'm debating on making a UI ROM. This ROM would contain ALL the most popular UIs for windows mobile. I will try and customize the look of them if people want. Is anyone interested in this???
PS. Of course you know this may eat up a lot of storage memory. I'll try and minimize as much as I can.

Try the basic ones: iFonz+S2U2+S2P, Throttlelauncher+throttlelock, HS++, and of course, Manila!
Hmmm i was thinking more like FEWidgets, PointUI, SPB Mobile shell and TF3D. I'm really not a fan of throttle launcher cause its so freaking slow..
Depending on the performance.. I would love to give it a shot.
I would like to have:
Taskbar Icons,
Background for all Tabs,
Slider Icons,
New Icons set under Start - Like iPhone everything one size within a Sq template. (for WM6.5)
S2U2 cooked into the WM 6.1 ROM
If the ROM is smooth and stable with out any memory leaks and within acceptable RAM usage... I am sure a lot of people would love it.
My 2 Cents.
I would probably base the ROM on WM6.1 but I was going to put tweaks for the interfaces and some basic apps. This would be more of a Find ur UI ROM so u can test them all and to have them all optimized in one rom
I think this is a great idea, and would certainly be interested if it had a nicely set up PointUI with SenseUI suite (I've had issues with it running on my phone).
Throttlelauncher should be speedy enough on this device. It was quite fast on my old Herald, and that thing's ancient. I would probably prefer that there weren't any paid interfaces like Home2 and SPB, since not everyone has a registration for them.

From what i've seen Throttle launcher is slow and laggy on every device.. I can try it on the TP2 and make a decision. SPB mobile shell is like rated one of the top interfaces for Winmo so i can't leave that out. It gives the people who do use that interface the ability to have a customized ROM for it. I'm personally not a fan but have like 10 coworkers that hate tf3d and love spb.
How about Moto Homescreen or UL for that matter!
Check this thread out try editing the manila 2.6 and making a landscape version and using the latest 2.5/2.1 to try and get it working correctly.

I honestly don't believe that is possible but I can look into it. No one wants to share the Manila 2.6 Packages so there is nothing I can do there.
I'd like it but im sure it would be pretty hard to bundle all that together and still be able to hotswitch between the different today screens.

Greetings!
I got my phone a few days ago to upgrade from my tilt 2 and it just feels like going from a Athlon 64 to a i7 LOL
A few things that are not quite there yet like the playstation emulation is no quite on par with what I have seen on Windows mobile..compatibility wise...I cannot get www.veoh.com to play even with Skyfiew and even southparkstudios is not quite as smooth (although much better looking) than on my tilt2 but I guess when Froyo is out the problems with Flash will be gone.
The main thing I want to work with now is making the home screen look more like my Tilt2 Energy ROM that I like so much.
I got the Launcher Pro + but I cannot even figure how to change clock and to show weather animation on the home page like the Energy Rom...or even if that is possible.
Any help is welcome.
PS Has anyone gotten the Amiga emulator to work yet?

The closest I can find to what you want is launcher pro and beautiful widgets (adds the home widget with the large clock + weather a la energy rom) hope that helps
Thanks.
I found fancy widgets which looks just like HTC.
Unfortunately the only live weather I have found takes a lot of resources unlike the one for our HTC phones so I guess I would have to wait a bit more on that one.
Regards
For appointments on your home page, try "agenda widget", It's great and very customizable. You can make it look just like sense, but even better in my opinion.
Thanks mate...is looking better already and this fun is just freaking awesome
I just need scummvm to be happier and a working amiga emulator as well.
