Hi, I was trying to search for it but the search just comes up with a white screen that loads nothing and says done... so I figured id ask someone to help point me in the right direction as I have been manually surfing tryin to find it... but cant find a step by step...
I want to know the proper steps to take before upgrading a brand new us mda to a newer rom... I know I should back up the information but with what and what all do I back up?

I would like to think I am pretty tech savvy, but for some odd reason I can not get any of these to work. I am trying to get dutty's newest one plus the touchflo cube to work on my phone, but I guess I just cant grasp the concept of getting it to work. I have an AT&T Tilt.
If someone could set something up and call me and walk me through doing this, then I will literally pay you to do it. Just send me a private message or email me to set something up.

I've got this problem with TomTom.. it's not a huge issue, but it's kinda annoying... I've searched the forum and web, and haven't been able to find any postings on this "bug"?....
When I go to "Manage POI", I can set a warning sound (I use this for speed and redlight cameras) and it works... but whenever I exit and restart TomTom again, it resets back to the default warning sound.. ie, the first warning sound out of all the available selections..
Does anyone know if there's a fix?
I'm currently on TomTom 7.450.9028...

Try shortening the file names of the sound files. I had a similar problem with voice file names and that fixed it.

thanks steveianson... but the sound files aren't actually "custom" files.. they're the ones that come with the TomTom software itself.. there's a series of them and i'm only selecting from those... weeeird....

Because Jeroen........ Before I posted, I searched and searched and searched!
I actually did see that thread you're pointing me to... I even downloaded and tried the newer version of Tom Tom that's linked in the thread and I couldnt get it to work with my existing maps.
(to use that new version, I'd somehow need to reactivate maps to be able to use it?).
As far as I can see, the thread STARTS off talking about the same version of TomTom I use, but within a few posts, it's gone off topic and it is now about the newer version!
Hence, the reason I started a new thread...

I have had the same problem and it has nothing to do with the thread you pointed us to. Also, this problem has been around for a while (at least the last 2 or 3 versions of TomTom 7). I have looked everywhere but cannot find a fix for it. Using ogg files for the warnings is just too cumbersome.
Anyone have a solution?

Hey guys, i would post this under the actual thread but im affraid no1 will see my post as i need an issue resolved asap. whats been driving me mad is the bluetooth with the EnergyROM HD series Build 33109. i basically just flashed my HD last nite and just today while i was at work showing it off lol cos i work at telstra, went to beam a file and i got this error "An error prevented this picture from being sent" for one, im not sending an image (was a .cab file lol) and i get the same error when trying to beam all sorts of file and also no matter who i pair my handset to the other person shows up as disconnected. Its basically driving me mad. Has anyone else encountered the same problem...? is there a fix for this and if so where can i find it...? i'd appreciate any help on this, i dont want to get rid of this rom, its awesumz.
You really should post it in the appropriate thread. No need to start new threads about a ROM already posted here. I suspect you will here the same from a moderator soon.
ive sent something to my samsung g810 from my hd
i did it threu bleutooth explorer
with bleutooth explorer opend the map on the other phone and paste the file i want to beam and it will be sended

Dude.. forum policy does not allow opening new threads for specific ROM issues. Please address your Q/issue in the relevant thread.
I'm sorry your issue is urgent but if everyone who had a "urgent" ROM specific issue created a new thread this forum would be a right mess.
