Anyone use WorldCard Mobile?

I have installed it on my diamond and when you press on the icon to load nothing happens! Anyone got it to work? Cheers

I installed it to the internal storage and have used it successfully.
Works quite brilliantly.
Try removing and reinstalling.

Hey Spitwroot - did you ever get it working? I'm in the same boat...I have a Telus Diamond and no version I cand find of this product will properly run once installed. It's driving me batty as I truly will fork out the dough for it, if I can just get it working! I'm not prepared to do a hard reset over it...yet.

Doesnt work with my sprint cdma version either. I think something about the cdma version of diamond makes it not compatible. I tired the trial on website and the one on the official diamond pro. nada

The roms are specific for polaris, the cab file you just install (copy to device and double click the file) on any device, the cab is more to play with, Roms with it cooked in should be out soon.

I just test everything and it all works fine.
except for the album search program that is missing to view pics as i said above already. the music tab works fine for me, the map search function works fine(u need googlemaps installed if u dont have it installed already), the people part works fine, I'm able to add a contact and a picture.
it might not be fully supported for your Tmo Wing

YouTube VGA on Herman/Raphael not possible? (searched)

Is there a 100% working YouTube app for the Touch Pro with custom roms?
I've seached all over for a solution to get YouTube on my Touch Pro, and I've run across various solutions but none that work like the phone did out of the box. Some cabs have a QVGA app + VGA skin and some just don't play the sound. I've tried like 5-6 possibilities, and again, none of them work.
Does anybody have one that they installed and verified working?

Skyfire works, although it's the video displays is far from smooth.
I was actually referring to the YouTube application in START->Programs. I find it a lot more functional as an application as opposed to having it embedded in a browser window.

Check your custom rom again - it probably has it installed. I know ROMeOS does for instance.

have you try youtubeplay yet? it work on both my Diaomnd, and Touch Pro. The app even allow you to save the video you are watching on youtube onto the phone.

Yes but I really want the HTC application. The main reason is that I think that if this is resolved, I can also fix the same error that popups up when trying to open HTC Audio Manager.
Just reflashed a stock rom and it works. Flashed a 20931 base with ONLY YouTube selected and I get the error :/

What error? I know the Youtube app does come with various custom roms (and does work), so if the problem is when you try to cook your own, there's something you're doing wrong when adding it. Try asking in the ROM forum then, since the app itself is fine.

Error: "The file 'YouTube' cannot be opened. Either it is not signed with a trusted certificate, or one of its components cannot be found."
Roms out there do have it, you're right, but it looks like the OEM in the latest kitchen is corrupted (the DSM file is substantially smaller from other Youtube_VGA OEM's I've seen). None of the builds work so it has to be the OEM, some dependency, or a setting/certificate of some sort.

HTC Youtube is dependant on HTC TouchFlo. It will spit back this error if you don't have it installed.. I have cab's for both on my ROM thread, and yes, they work

I was getting that error, once I tried running opera mobile, left it running in the background, and started the youtube app. it works fine, even after i've closed both programs and rerun youtube by itself. after a reset or long time ( like days) of no use I sometimes have to do this again. If you're cooking your own roms however I'm clueless. This is just a workaround, and slightly annoying, but doable for me.
oh ya, I almost forgot. The player in kinoma play works flawlessly for me. Might want to try it

Wow.. that worked. I searched the crap out of these here internets and I clearly didn't read your thread. Thanks for the heads up.

the one from ppcgeeks works, it is the original one that comes with the sprint version of the htc touch pro (or diamond, i forget) but it works flawlessly and has high quality for if you have fast enough connection

The YouTube application is dependent on TouchFlo and HTC Streaming Media to work.
Here is a .cab for the youtube app in VGA as well as a .cab for HTC streaming media. If you install both it will work (at least it does for me) and my Raphael did not have either preinstalled in ROM.

I got an HTC DIamond with clean wm 6.5, and I cannot get it to work with those two files you posted. It starts the app, shows menues, though after connection doesn't play anything. Any advise?

just grab one of Da_G's winmo 6.5 kitchen's, I've had no problem playing full screen youtube movies with the new internet explorer in winmo 6.5

I had the EXACT same problem a while ago. The problem was that the only way I could use HTC Youtube was to get a rom with it cooked in, which was problematic because it was limiting. I searched and search, finally forced to make a topic, and still couldn't find an answer. Eventually, diligence paid off.
I know you found the solution already, but here's one which doesn't require you to change the TouchFlo.
Do this:
1) Download HTC Youtube app of your choice - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=472940
2) Install Ravest Youtube Fix - http://www.megaupload.com/?d=ZGQJ3H0R
Using these two, I was able to get HTC Youtube to work in every single rom I tried so far.

Hmm, to be honest, at this point, it has been a while since I had to use my own solution. See, I've switched to WM6.5, and my solution only worked (for the most part) with WM6.1.
I'm curious that you're looking for a solution, though. Doesn't pretty much all custom ROMs come with it cooked in nowadays?

NOTE: This MAY NOT work with WM6.5. A WM6.1 with 21000+ SYS MAY BE REQUIRED for this to function properly.
Landscape Mode
The Video Band would need to be shrunk down significantly so as to display the Info icon and the Button Widget would need to move down so as to expose the Filter/Edit/Clear/Search button.
The Filter/Edit/Clear/Search button remains hidden behind the Button Widget.
Suspicion is that the Button Widget is supposed to appear along the bottom of the Landscape view when in Landscape mode.
Portrait Mode
When the Filter/Edit/Clear/Search button is in Filter state, the last two options of the Filter menu are not visible. Switching to Landscape mode and tapping just above the Button Widget invokes the Filter menu.
When in Landscape mode, scrolling the list of videos temporarily hides the Button Widget and displays the position of the Filter/Edit/Clear/Search button.

The .EXE’s and DLL’s have been signed using MSSIGNER. Although users have the option to install YouTube to an alternate location, it should be installed on the Device as some of the .DLL’s are services that run at device startup.

The OEM folder contains the latest TEST version of YouTube 2.5. All of the Rhodium 1.20.531.0 packages required to make YouTube function have been added. The registry file contains all of the registry entries from these packages – the MASD registry key indicates what has been added.
The registry file has been renamed to _YouTube-MASTER.reg and will need to be renamed to a GUID.RGU or APP.REG if chefs decide to cook the TEST package in their ROMs

Id love to see this new version of htc youtube made to work for vga screens, cause i love the fact that it has landscape mode which other versions never had!! Infact the version im running that was from the touch hd is great but when i go to landscape I get a black screen so landscape would be very welcomed!! it does not work on my fuze. i get an error but i have 1.0.8125 and that works so im not sure....

i hate to say it but i think the only difference between the two versions is region, as in some minor differences in network settings.

i don't think im going to get this to work hopfully Herg can get it to work, although i will say that i did not edit any of the pic's and it fit on my screen find.

what rom were you using cause i can't get it to open and stay open. im using wm6.1 build 20771

Windows Mobile 6.5 Marketplace

Anyone happen to know which ROMS currently out there such as Energys, Chamuze etc that have the Marketplace cooked in to the ROM. I was excited to see that the marketplace launched today but no one has seemed to be able to get a cab for it and most people are suggesting you have to get it with it already cooked in to the rom.
Any thoughts on this?

I went there and all I get is the "Comming Soon" page.

It works for me.
But I can't find the new Windows Live.
Most of the apps are absurdly expensive.

I use Chrome rom and marketplace is cooked in. I just tried it and everything works. when you first run it it will update. i am able to install apps just fine. every once in awhile you get an error saying cant connect but if you hit retry it works fine. MyPhone does not work yet however. i dont think its live yet.

Not sure what's going on -- works here. The cab is built from the package that was included in Da_G's kitchens circa the 21222 builds. Should work on other builds, but who knows ...
Seems more likely to me the problem is that the Marketplace hasn't "officially" launched today. Maybe it's not working in all locations yet.

I'm not getting past the update check either. I was starting to think that I'd need to get a new ROM. I've got the latest Silence ROM (on a Sprint Touch Pro)

Same with TAEL Rom.
I guess we will all have to wait until Microsoft Releases the system tomorrow.
Maybe then it will magically work.

i was able to download the market place last nite and i am able to download apps now. there isnt too many available and there is alot of 19.99$ games which is redic. I am using the newest da_g rom

I've checked it few hours ago. Looks good, but very poor choice of apps - I think that there were no more than 20-30 apps/games available.

My Marketplace was updated already this evening. Windows Live appeared.
It's quite nice looking, but no calendar, and messenger still doesnt appear to support MPOP.

I'm using Arrup's ROM and installed update and a couple programs...worked great..biggest difference with iPhone obviously is the numbers are apps...its almost funny the small numbers for WM vs Iphone.

I cook Marketplace in my roms. Link in my sig. Currently using the latest build, 23060.
